The people are very friendly and take you to your site. It does sit on a hilltop and has the closest Walmart in the Big Bend area!. It is just north of I-10 so there is some traffic noise, but probably no different in that respect than most RV parks located on busy highways. It was clean with a small fenced area for dogs. We would stay again if in the area.
The park is a little farther from Big Bend National Park than several others, but we liked the look of it better. The owners are very friendly. They have small gatherings and off-site excursions for food and entertainment to which you are invited to participate if desired. We are staying an extra week because we have enjoyed our time here. We will return. There are plans to plants trees in the near future. We would recommend this park to others.
