Just an overnight stop for us and I called from San Antonio to make sure they had vacancies in the RV area. Lady who checked us in was very nice and let us pick our spot (from her computer screen) We had a nice site with trees on one side and a large field and trail on the other side. Enjoyed walking some of the trails by the river and a very peaceful stay despite being only a few miles off I-10. We would stay here again.

Location, location, location! We paid $76.50, including tax for a 2 night stay and thoroughly enjoyed our ocean front spot. Nice clean park, friendly and helpful workers, super quiet at night. Some traffic noise during the day, but not bad. We enjoyed watching the pelicans and other birds as well as the folks fishing from the pier. Everything worked well, including the Wi-Fi. We hated to leave and would definitely stay there again.

We have been staying at the Silver Dollar for many years, usually in the off season, while visiting family and friends in the area. The price is good compared to the few other parks in the area, but I must say the RV spots are getting more and more run down - broken slabs, weeds, broken tree branches and trash everywhere. On the plus side, the laundry is clean and priced right, nice safe areas for morning/evening walks and it is quiet (on the golf side) especially at night. Don't know if we will be there again, unless they clean the RV area up a bit.

We needed to get off the highway, due to strong winds and tornado activity in the area. Knew of this park since we had stayed there once, many years ago. It did have a rundown appearance and we paid $23.50 (senior rate) for a mediocre site in the first loop. We did not know that the sites in the second loop were much nicer, however we do not plan to stay there again.

We stayed 3 nights while visiting family in the area. Owner very friendly and helpful. Everything worked and we wrote a check for $90 (no credit cards taken). Close to Walmart and several restaurants. Don't miss the free Fort Rucker Museum. We would stay here again.

We are currently staying at this park for 2 nights and finding it to be quite satisfactory. The sites are all about the same size, not huge but OK, utilities work well but WiFi is a bit slow. We walked around town yesterday and had a good lunch at the Table. Today we are taking the Queen Mine Tour, which has been highly recommended to us. Certainly would stay here again.

We pulled in late afternoon, after a long day on the road. The young couple running the place were super friendly and helpful. They let us choose a site and suggested we get settled, then come to the office and pay. Everything was very clean, level and wide sites, good utilities, however the WiFi did not work. We ate at the café across the street and had a good meal. They told us there would be fireworks out in a field behind the restaurant (it was Pioneer Day in Utah) at dusk, so we were treated to a lovely display before a good night's sleep. We will definitely choose this park again when coming through this part of Utah.

The very friendly lady at entrance gate marked on a map which sites were available and suggested we drive around and see which would be to our liking. We chose a pull through site adjacent to the lake. Roads are in good shape but on most sites the gravel has deteriorated and there is more weeds than grass. Even so, we enjoyed and probably would return. Our site was level, the utilities worked well, and we had some shade. It is rather noisy on Sunday, but much quieter and enjoyable on Monday. Very nice 1.1 mile walking path around perimeter of park. Rigby is an interesting little town and worth a visit.

This is a regular overnight stop for us, going north or south. I can see why they fill up almost every night. Friendly staff, easy check in, well placed utilities and strong WiFi are all pluses for us. Walmart, gas and restaurants close by and only a mile or so from I15. We hope to see them next summer.

Our 2nd stay here and still a 10. The owners live on site and work really hard all the time. Lots of shade trees and green grass (frequently irrigated). Nice level spacious sites, good utilities. WiFi worked well, train and freeway noise was minimal. We planned to stay 3 nights and stayed one more, just to relax and enjoy watching the ducks and sitting under the shade trees. We hope to see them again next summer.

With weekly rate, cost was about $34 per night. Nice little park with great hard working owners. Only a few sites are actually next to the Yellowstone River, but we were very pleased with our back in site - #22. It was far enough back from the road to have minimal traffic noise and there were benches available to sit by the river, which we really enjoyed. Beautiful views and a number of scenic drives in the area. Hope to see them next year.

Our 3rd stay here and as good as last year. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Everything clean, neat and well kept, and quiet, even when full over 4th of July. Beautiful expansive views of the Madison Valley and the mountains. Our 4 night stay with Good Sam discount was less than $31 per night. We plan to come back next year.

Great for an overnight stop, close to I-15 and Idaho Falls. We were surprised to find only 3 spots available at noon, but it was July 2nd. Camping area is close to road, but not busy. Park is well kept and has interesting exhibits walk around and see. We would stay again if coming through this area.

Thought we would check out this campground based on the review of Oct 2011. First - price is now $20 per night, second - most sites are unlevel and dusty, and third - while we walked around there was a lot of unsavory looking people coming and going. We decided to move on, felt we would not be safe staying here. The actual park looked quite large and nice.

Well maintained park with nice spacious sites. We took a premium site, because it was the only one that had a beautiful view of the bayou. We walked around and all the regular sites were just fine, no water views. Nice boardwalk and trails though the woods. WiFi actually worked as advertised.

Large park with well laid out sites, very clean, typical COE, lots of birds around the lake and very windy. Super quiet at night.

We stayed 2 nights in order to ride the train and did receive a discount on the camping cost. The park has been privately run for several years and is kind of shabby. Many sites were occupied by "monthly" renters, some were oil workers and some not. Many people driving through quite fast and no one stopping them. Wi-Fi only worked at the office. Unfortunately the train ride was not at all scenic, but the staff were very friendly and nice.

Just a nice little national forest campground, right off of US84, but little traffic noise. Large shady sites with grills and tables, but no amenities except for port-a-potties. Short walk down to a small fishing lake with more tables and benches.

Had a good overnight stay. Can see a lot of work and care has gone into this place. Huge activity building and super clean laundry and bathrooms. Our only complaint - we took a spot close to the main building, specifically so we could use the internet, but the Tengo system was all but useless. It kept dropping off and when it did work was slower than dial up. Seems like if you advertise internet, it should work !

Nice shady sites with some views of the lake, but we did not know the park is under construction, and those closer to the lake are being redone right now (will be super nice when done). Friendly attendant was having trouble with the computer system, and it took ages to get checked in.

Most sites are small and close together. We arrived in the middle of a weekday and found the place full, except for 2 sites that we could not fit in, so we moved on.

A difficult campground to rate. We had seen various recommendations and were just staying overnight. On the plus side - only about 3 miles off US 26 and not hard to find, pick your own site, very very quiet and peaceful, especially at night. However many of the sites were extremely unlevel and narrow, with only a few having a view of the reservoir. The new C loop does have really large and level sites, but we decided we liked A loop better. Would probably stay here again.

Our 2nd stay at this great park. We paid 96.20 for 3 nights with Good Sam discount, excellent value. The owner and staff are super friendly and accommodating. Sites are well maintained with a small grass patio and, yes the trees are growing. Wi-Fi is now excellent. Looks like there are a lot of return visitors. Ennis is a great little town. We can highly recommend Yesterday's Soda Fountain for breakfast and lunch. We plan to stay again next summer.

This is a tired, older park, a former KOA. Our main reason to stay there was to have dinner at the Sacajawa Inn - in Three Forks, which we highly recommend. Definitely overpriced, for what you get - we paid $72.50 including tax for 2 nights, for a water and electric site, no Wi-Fi, gravel weedy sites. Best part for us was being away from the full hookup sites in the back of the park (plenty of long terms there) We had nice shade trees and a beautiful view of the valley. Some road noise during the day, but quiet at night. We were told they are not filling the pool because of a water shortage. Doubt we would stay here again.

Loved this small park and it's great, friendly, hard working owners. Can't wait to go back next year. We had a shady side by the creek and stayed 4 days. Utilities and Wi-Fi worked great, laundry was spotless, no road noise. It is convenient to the small town of Dillon and we enjoyed exploring the area and eating at Sparky's Garage. The WW2 museum is fantastic. We even enjoyed visiting the sheep and cow. It is not for those that want a "resort" type atmosphere, but for us it was perfect and we will be back next year.

Our 2nd stay here. Priced very fairly at $20. The owner is a super nice lady, who is working very hard to make this a nice place. It is super clean, the laundry great and she said the honor system works very well. (Put your money into a secure box to pay for washer, dryer, snacks and souvenirs.) Some of the utilities, especially sewer are placed awkwardly. Wi-Fi was spotty while we were here, but worked well at the laundry. Nice views of the lake, but quite a bit of road noise from US 20 during the day. We certainly hope to stay here again next summer.

Park is adjacent to County Fairgrounds. We followed directions from their website and found it easily. There was no one here but us, all night long. We picked a site and paid the Iron Ranger. Very quiet, really nothing to do, but it worked out well for us for overnight. Super Wal-Mart fairly close by.

We have stayed here overnight several times and never been disappointed. Check in is easy, staff so nice and honor requests for sites (we wanted shade). You even get a free newspaper! Utilities and Wi-Fi work well, there is a small area of very nice green grass at each site and lovely trees too. Used the laundry for the first time and it was clean and reasonably priced. The owner works very hard to keep this small park in tiptop shape. The only ding is road noise, which they cannot do much about. There is a thick hedge at the back of the sites and long term visitors are in the rear row. Great place and we will stay again whenever coming through this area.

Adequate park for overnight. Check in was easy and friendly, utilities and wifi worked well. We chose not to pay extra for cable. Seemed to be popular with "renter campers" probably seeing the national parks etc. We would stay again if traveling this route.

Pricy, but location, location, location - sitting in our RV and looking at the Atlantic Ocean. Nice people and easy check in. The hotel looks really nice also. They had a wedding going on Saturday, which was fun to watch. Would stay here again.

Nice place to stop when travelling through west Texas. Sites are a bit tight, but not too bad. Extremely quiet at night, great star gazing. Derr and guinea hens grazing. We would stay here again.

Just seems a bit pricey being a state park, guess the $4 per person entrance fee on top of the $20 camping fee is not so bad if you are not just spending the night. Sites are nice pull throughs with full hookups, lots of evidence of Sept fires, but everything cleaned up well. Too hot to explore while we were there, and it was only April.

Nice park, a hidden gem, run by local people. It is about 5 miles off the freeway right before crossing into Texas. We have stayed here a couple of times. It can be busy on weekends with local folks, but very quiet during the week. many waterfront sites - the Sabine river, good utilities and a dump station, perfect for an overnight or two.

By no stretch of the imagination is this park a "resort". Pluses - check in was easy and friendly, site flat & level, utilities worked, Wi-Fi adequate. In other words OK for an overnight. However - the few trees are in the front of the park, which is deceiving, when you head back to your 50 amp site in the back of the gravel parking lot, it looks a lot different, and sites are long, but narrow. Not their fault - trains very noisy, going through about hourly and through the night, also quite a bit of road noise from I-10. Must say park was clean and we would probably stop there for an overnight stay.

We actually stayed here overnight twice, on our way to and from Chama. First time there were no water and electric sites available and we had a very roomy and flat site with a great view of the lake. On the way back we stayed up on the hill in an equally nice hookup site. The host said the campground really fills up in the summer, and especially on weekends. In mid September it was pretty quiet, the way we like it.

We stayed 2 nights, primarily to ride the train. Park is somewhat dated, roads and sites gravel/dirt. The grass has seen better days. On the plus side check in was easy and the lady in the office extremely accommodating. Her husband escorted us to our site. Our WiFi worked OK. The train station and the town center are about a half mile walk.

For us this is a quiet and convenient overnight stop, close to I25, but no road noise. Seemed, this year that a lot of the campers were NM residents, most likely using the annual pass and paying $4.00 night. Even at $14 for electric and water it is a bargain.

Very nice park, convenient to US 93, therefore some traffic noise. Staff very accommodating and friendly, put us in a nice shaded, gassy pull through even though we were only staying overnight. Lots of beautiful landscaping and flowers. They even have there own greenhouse. Laundry was spotless and convenient, Wi-Fi worked well. We would definitely stay there again.

We have passed through Kanab several times, but never noticed this park. It is situated a short distance down US89A, the road to Fredonia. Really only complaint we had was that the front of our RV was facing the late afternoon and evening sun, so no shade. They do however have a patio area, nicely landscaped with desert plants, where we sat for a while before and after dinner. It is a clean park, nice hosts, Wi-Fi worked well and we were able to get on our way bright and early the next morning. Would stay again, when passing through Kanab.

Only game in town, especially if you are travelling west on US50, there is no other place to stay till you get to the Nevada border. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and accommodating. No frills, but clean, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Mostly long term residents. Rate was with Good Sam discount.

We saw recommendations on your site about the new section of this park that has full hookups and stayed there. it was kind of barren and had cabins across from the sites with, in our case, a lot of loud kids. Also the weeds were waist high all around the sites. Would probably not stay here again.

Have stayed here a couple of times and found the park to be consistent. The grass is green and well cared for, plenty of shade trees. Some long term residents, but all sites looked neat and clean. Easy on/off from I-15, but quite a bit of road noise, despite large hedge of shrubbery. Walking distance to Walmart Superstore.

Nice park, enroute to Yellowstone NP. Trees are growing and will provide shade eventually. Sites are reasonably sized and have grass patios, good hookups. Friendly staff and easy check in. There is a nice looking restaurant in front of the park, we already had dinner planned, but it looked inviting. Would definitely stay there again.

We pulled in mid afternoon, after a long dusty drive. The staff were really friendly, check in was easy, Good Sam discount applied. Sites were adequate for overnight, some shade from trees. Freeway and train noise not overwhelming. Did not use bathrooms, but laundry was clean and reasonably priced. Would stop here again if passing through Wells.

After reading reviews of this park, we stayed overnight, while travelling through Idaho. We enjoyed the walking trails and sitting down by the creek. It is a good value for money. Having been warned about the entrance (down the Hill) we proceeded with caution and had no problem. The sign is a bit hard to see. Make sure you go in at the RV park, not the Day use section.
