Very nice campground. Showers, laundry, restrooms, were all very clean. Pet friendly, but there was no place to throw a ball for our dogs. Boardwalk was amazing and the dogs did take a swim in the river.
This campground is very nice. We paid Passport America rates and were camped very near I-75, which we heard day and night. There is a dog walk, suitable for small dogs. The restrooms, showers and laundry were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.
At first glance this "resort" does not look inviting. However, the staff was very friendly and the restrooms/showers very clean. Orange Lake is there, but due to the drought very low. Pet friendly. Quiet, except for an occasional air boat.
The campground itself was good. It is a no frills campground in the middle of nowhere. The people were nice and a good price on Passport America. We found the bathrooms to be uncleaned and would not take a shower there. Very dog friendly.
We volunteered here for 3 months, and despite the water this is the best campground we seen since we left. We have been in 7 other camp grounds. There is a reverse osmosis system at the fire station for good drinking water. We arrived Thanksgiving and spent the winter and found the weather to be very enjoyable. The beach is amazing! So many shells, so little time! The rangers and maintenance crew were friendly and helpful. We would definitely camp here again!
