We love Jellystone parks. This one was our first experience. The activities for the kids are so fun, the staff was helpful, the place was well maintained and friendly. The fellow campers were so nice. I loved all the animals that were about..rabbits, tortoises, an alligator, parrots..and the list goes on. The hayride was a blast. Yogi was a hit. Negatives: They said my sewage was in a weird place (behind my tires on the driver side) and we had a hard time finding a spot for my RV. I didn't have trouble anywhere else so I thought this was weird. I also had a problem with sites not being level. I wish they had concrete pads instead of rocks. There were more level sites, but I didn't get one ..both times we stayed there.
This was the first really big RV park that we've ever visited. The people were so friendly and nice. Someone helped me park my RV (fellow camper) and asked if I needed help setting up. Our locations was great, just a short walk to the beach. There was some construction in the park, but it was easy to maneuver around even pulling the trailer. My kids loved it. They found friends and had a blast on their bikes. I loved that they delivered pizza from inside the park directly to your trailer. I loved the golf carts (pricey, but worth it!). My only complaint would be that I did not realize that it was going to have religious undertones (they were more like overtones). I am not religious myself, but it wasn't too horribly annoying. The beach was great. I would go back in a heartbeat. We might do it next summer. We used the indoor pool. It was great. We also visited the ice cream shop frequently. I even forgot my wallet one day and they said just to come back and pay them when I could. So nice and friendly there. I travel with 4 kids normally and my mother and teenage brother was with me as well. We went to a family fun night and we all had fun. We collected lots of shells.
