Nice stopover on I-10. Across from TA truck stop. Wi-Fi was terribly slow and the park was not full. Nice greeting at check-in. Water pressure was low to non existent. Manager said that was not normal. It appears that most sites face to the east. I had asked for a north facing pull-through; he said no problem. We ended up facing east. No problem with satellite. We didn't use the cable. We might not stay here again.
This resort is showing its age. Lots of updating needed. Restrooms, pool, and other amenities could use some tlc. Security is very good. Bar & Grill serves good food but the service staff could use some training. Lots of park models for sale, a sign of the times I think. Sales lady at the sales office seemed a little burnt out and lacked some interest in showing us some available units. Good entertainment and lot of activities. Driving range was closed because of rotten nets during prime season. Why not fix them? Best part of this park are the people that stay here.
What a surprise, a great stopover on I-10. Ez in Ez out just off the interstate. Sites are close together but don't feel like it. Staff was pleasant, reasonably priced for site. No frills park but all you need to make a nice stay. We'll stop here again.
This is a nice well run park, but it has it's downfalls. Restrooms were not clean and they are very blah. Concrete walls and floors. Laundry is tiny and claustrophobic. Restrooms and laundry makes you think they might be bleaker than the county jail facilities. Laundry has 2 washers and 2 dryers. Nice children playground. Nice pool but was closed on our visit. Gated facility with gates open daylight hours. They were reseeding the grass when we were there and left our patio and drive a mess. May look elsewhere on out next Topeka visit. But wait, the BBQ place next door has wonderful food. While in Topeka don't miss Bobo's Drivein, Taco Villa and The Pad, great eatery's!
Probably best stopover in Guymon, but its not much. Water, electric and sewer, what else do you need? Dogs running loose. Office in mobile home on property. Great view of the grain elevators in Guymon. Yup, train and highway noise but I'm tired and I'll sleep.
Great stopover park. Easy in and easy out on HWY 160 about 4 miles east of Alamosa. Very friendly and helpful staff. Big pull throughs in the back of the park. Quiet country setting. Verizon wireless worked good here. Will stop here again. Park closes the end of October and opens the 1st of May.
Nice stopover on I-25. Water and electric only at the overnight sites. The full hookup sites had signs saying "reserved" but nobody was using them. Next time we'll probably stay at the RV Park just past the state park. Water pressure was very low so we just used our pump in the rig. Sign says this is a good "Birding" park. We did see a hummingbird and some quail. Lots of doves, of course.
This is another average KOA. It is nothing fancy but a good overnight stop. BUT, the Kafe was a different story. They have an onsite Kafe for dinner and breakfast. We had jumbo butterfly shrimp for dinner and it was the best ever. This place is worth the stop if nothing else but the Kafe. Also the mats in the showers are a nice touch. I wish more parks would use these. I hate stepping out of a shower onto a wet floor. We would stop here again if for nothing else but the KOA Kafe. Verizon wireless worked okay here.
Definitely a 10. i just had to stay here to see it myself. Nice staff, Nice site, Nice everything. This park is east of Kerrville about 8 miles, exit 501. Easy off, Easy on. Concrete pads and asphalt streets. Lots of humidity but its not there fault. Very clean amenities Verizon wireless was a little weak here as its in the Hill country. We would stay here again but will try Guadalupe RV Resort next time.
Not a fancy RV park but easy access off of I-35. All asphalt roads. Laundromat looked good, but didn't use it. The men's room was always locked so didn't use it either. Escort to our site was nice. No food nearby. They have a cafe, but it was closed during our visit. Verizon Wireless worked here. A good overnight stop.
We had a lot of fun at this campground. It's not fancy and not a lot of amenities. It was October, and they were very busy. Lots of campers with Halloween decorations. Campfires every night at most sites. Restrooms need updated and better maintenance. We had a non sewer site the first night but was able to move to a full hookup site the next day. They only have a few full hookup sites. Staff was very helpful in our move. We will return here again especially in October! Happy Halloween! Verizon Wireless worked good here!
It was just okay. Very noisy with interstate traffic and trains. Very small rough interior roads. We used it as an overnight stop, but next time we'll stop at another place. When we called for availability the office clerk never mentioned the awful construction mess. Probably won't stop here again. Lots of old campers and fulltimers.
A little bit out of the way but an okay campground. One lane road leads in and out so be careful. Get directions off their website and follow them in. Nice staff at registration but no site escort which I'd recommend in this park. Our pull thru was a back in but they just told us to drive across the grass. Our site was satellite accessible but had no sewer. Lots of seasonal campers with patios and other stuff. Lots of golf carts in the park decorated for Halloween. Verizon wireless worked well here.
A very old park in run down condition. Lots of old full time rigs with junk. Site escort. Its just past Subway at exit 95 off I57/I64 in the middle of Mt Vernon. The proprietor did mow a path thru the weeds to the Subway next door. Would stay here again because there's nothing else available. We kept our doors locked and the blinds pulled.
This is a nice park that's worth the out of the way drive. Paved streets and well maintained sites with pretty trees in their fall colors. Nice helpful staff but no escort to the site. We had a pull thru with satellite access. Restrooms and showers in great condition and they were clean. Its right next to the Boone County Fairgrounds just north of Columbia just past Bass Pro. Narrow roads and narrow sites only allowed an 8. Its an older park that's been well maintained!
A very nice RV park with lots of pull thrus. Very helpful staff with an escort to your site. All concrete pads and patios. Full hookups with cable at every site. Gated access to the facility. Next door BBQ opening late October 2010. It will be some good BBQ as I have sampled it at his old location. Verizon wireless worked excellent here.
Another nice stay at the Air Force Academy. Campground is self service for the winter season. Campground is in the pine trees but yet close to shopping and dining. Site 58 worked well for satellite and Verizon Wireless. We'll stop again.
Nice place for an overnight stop. The owner was at the desk and she was a little argumentative. Maybe she was just having a bad day. Interstate noise was pretty bad. There were nice, level, dirt sites, clean showers and restrooms. We missed the exit as there was no sign on I-70. We would stop here again but only for a one nighter! Definitely not a 10, no hot tub or exercise room.
Average KOA with the normal KOA stuff. Helpful staff. We stayed in E12, couldn't get level. Lots of sites looked to be unlevel. Best thing about this park is the restaurants across the freeway. Jefe's had great Mexican food and delivered to our site. Max's had a great breakfast. We probably wouldn't stop here again because of narrow and unlevel sites. Diamond Shamrock next door was filthy. Verizon Wireless worked good here.
It is not a candidate for KOA's President award. There is a noisy freeway. A deluxe site was dirt and picnic table. The office closed 11am to 2pm. There are lots of permanent camper trash. We probably won't stop again. Verizon worked good here.
Nice stop on I-25 just north of Hatch. Rate is $15 plus electricity. Sites are a little unlevel. It was okay for one night. Wanted to stay at the state park nearby, but their water pump was inoperable. Verizon worked well here.
Nice park with easy access to Durango with a Wal-Mart nearby. Lady in the office was very helpful and went out of her way to assist you. Florida owners could be a little more friendly. Lots of little improvements is making this park better. I would stay here again. Verizon worked well here.
This is an old park but a nice park. Has nice staff. The pancake cook is very opinionated but the free pancakes were good. Verizon worked well here. Nice stop on the way to Durango. Definitely will stop here again.
Great park in Topeka. Over a million dollars in concrete in this park. Roads, sites, and patios all concrete. Great pool that was still open and heated in September. They do need more washers and dryers. The grass was like carpet. the park is gated for security. Propane available and reasonable. Very scenic setting with trees all around the boundary of the park. Definitely will stay here again! Do you think I liked this park? You bet!
Great overnight stop! Had no idea it was here until I checked rvparkreviews. However be sure your water has a spigot. I signed in, leveled and began hookups theen discovered the spigot missing on the water service. Glad I had onboard water. Will stay here again.
Great night stopover. Easy off I-80 and easy on. Diesel available. Convenience store. Burgers were awesome. Park was clean. Verizon was on extended network but aircard did work, it was just slow. Close to interstate 80 but noise didn't bother us. Six miles from Iowa Speedway. Will stop here again.
Appears to be an older park with small sites and tight roads. We were out in a field next to a house. There are a few fulltimers at this park. Train noise is loud! We paid for cable TV but didn't find any stations(?) Staff was not much help: didn't get a map of the park, and where's the dumpsters? Glad our stay was only one night. We won't stop here again.
This is a nice park with a friendly staff. It is the best RV park on the west side of Glacier Natl Park; only 5 miles from the gate. There are great restaurants in the area. Fuel and propane are less than a mile away. Well arranged sites. Grass could use some watering! We would definitely stay here again!
Its an old rv park, definitely not a "10" park. We ask for a satellite site but didn't get it. There were too many trees. It is not big rig friendly in my book. It was pretty full of travel trailers and fifth wheels that appeared to be full time renters. It worked for an overnight stop but we will probably look around next time. The owner is very friendly thus a "5".
We've stayed here before, and will stay here again. A great rv park for an extended stay. Great staff and beautiful scenery. We could see the peaks of the mountains in Glacier National Park right out our windshield. Lots of shopping and restuarants nearby. Walmart in Kalispell is about 32 miles of scenic highway away. So much to do in the area and to come home to a quiet convienient place in the country. What more could you ask for but a place in God's country. Hookups are excellent. Extremely nice showers and restroom. Wifi works great and is dependable. This is a quiet peaceful rv park!
Nice park with great facilities and activities. Staff is mostly friendly and helpful. Rates are too high in this enconomy. Lots of annual residents are selling park models and leaving the park because of increasing rates. Also, because of the restaurant which used to be really good, but now suffering from poor quality, poor service and high prices. The restaurant was a big draw just a couple of years ago. The wifi continues to be unsatisfactory for a park of this stature. If you visit don't expect to have wifi at your site. There is a hotspot in the market/restaurant lobby.
I didn't stay here. I stayed across the road at Desert Gold. My mistake. I wanted to do this review because of the Black Rock Cafe. Food was awesome service was great. Next time I'll stay here at Black Rock. Located about 15 miles east of Quartzite.
Passport America rate. Still a nice little park. Looks clean. Didn't use any facilities. Road noise and construction at the entrance. Desk staff could have been a little more help. Ask for a table and was told to get it myself. Wi-Fi worked for email but not for internet explorer?? Makes for a great stop for the night.
Rate based on weekly rate. This park has gone down hill drastically. Very dusty and lots of ATVs. Roads are disintegrating. Lot of permanent seasonal park models with way too much junk. Asked for a table, never got it. We will NOT stay here again.
Great over night stop on the shortcut between I8 and I10. Great hookups with level sites. Fuel, convenience store and Subway Mexican Food nearby. Just pull in a vacant site and go to the convenience store and register before you hookup. We will stay here again.
The photographer did a good job. Definitely not a resort. More of a campground. Pull thru sites not very level. We had to move to a level back in. Office help not much help. Wi-fi worked off and on. Best thing about this park is its in a very nice city. Don't miss Milts Steakhouse. Top Sirloin was awesome. Also have a man who will wash and wax your rig at a reasonable price.
A nice park to stop for a couple of nights. All sites have fire pits. Bring your own wood. Hookups very easy. There is a dump station by the entrance. Most sites would be a tight squeeze for 40 foot or larger. A very quiet campground with strong Verizon cell phone signal. Camping World, Cabelas and Harley store are just up the interstate a few miles. Our gps did not like this location for some reason. It lead us on a wild goose chase to find a Cracker Barrel. The Camp Host was very helpful and an asset to this park.
Not a particular nice park for a KOA. Website said firepits at the site. Not so. Helpful staff. We had to turn a sprinkler off as it was spraying our Moho. No briefing at checkin. We had planned to stay longer but decided not to upon arrival. Verizon wireless worked here.
Very nice little RV park. Its in town close to everything. Coin operated showers. Little street noise but not bad. Grassy pull thru sites. Wifi worked okay but they only have a router inside the office. If you depend on Wifi, ask for a site close to the office. Verizon worked good here. This is a nice town with nice people. We will stay here again.
Rain rain go away. We stayed here for a week in late May and it rained every day. Pretty nice park. We stayed here because of a "Hot Deal" they had on their website. $21 a night is a good value for a park with all amenities. Wi-Fi worked good and Verizon worked good. School was still in session and this park has a bus barn on premises. They were a little noisy and raced thru the park on the way in to the barn. Good laundry facilities. Store with good selection of RV supplies and Montana gifts. Staff very helpful. Would stay here again.
We stayed here a week. Every thing you need in Dillon. Nice little, quiet park. Owners very cordial and helpful. It would be a 10 with more amenities. The restroom/showers could use some updating. In town and very close to everything. Be sure and visit Bannack, and drive the Pioneer Scenic Byway. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Nice little park in a very small town. Not many amenities except the wifi worked excellent. Was pretty busy for the month of May. Good food nearby at Golden Hills Cafe at Mt Carmel Junction. Please take the time to visit www.bestfriends.org its a animal sanctuary for abandoned and abused animals. Its a must see! NO VERIZON SERVICE HERE! Cell service in nearby Kanab. Would stay here again.
Excellent park with great amenities. Lot of park models, but still room for lots of RVs. Staff very helpful. Unbelievable nice park for only $20 a night. Verizon worked good here. Will stay here again!
Nice park with lots of amenities. Equity Lifestyle Park recently acquired. Poor communications from new owners. Staff seems to be on pins and needles waiting for changes. Still the nicest place to stay in the Tucson area.
Passport America park. Dust bowl. Looked very run down. Didn't feel safe there even in the daylight. We prepaid our reservation but gave it up cause we didn't get a good feeling about this place. No one at the office. Notes everywhere leaving instructions. This park is just down the road from a huge feedlot. Very smelly! Went into Casa Grande to a wonderful park with all amenities!!!
Adult Park. Rate is based on internet special. Stay 2 nights, first night free. Special good through December I believe. I checked NO on Wi-Fi because it just doesn't work!!! A park of this magnitude should have a Wi-Fi system that works, and works well!! Rumor has it this park has new owners. Maybe they'll correct it.
Nothing fancy but a quiet place to stay in a small rural Amish community. Call first as there is no office, the manager runs it from his cell phone. While in Yoder be sure and try the build your own burger at the Bulls Eye grill in downtown Yoder. This is an easy drive to Hutchinson to tour the Salt Mine and Cosmosphere. We will stay here again...
If you want satellite, cable TV and level sites, forget this campground. Lots of ruts from recent rains. They were nice enough to give me a refund because I was unhappy and dissappointed. The campground seemed to be mostly seasonal residents with lots of old stuff sitting around that never moves. We won't be back!
What a great little park. Very quiet and comfortable. Lots of ATV's but no noise or dust. Passport America. Wireless is Tangointernet $$$. Verizon worked good. Staff very helpful. Lots of seaonal campers. Nice pull through sites were 47-54. Other pull throughs share a yard. Staff was very helpful. No more trees! More trees would mean less satellite access! They don't have cable TV. Would definitely stay here again. Call first, as this is a very busy park.
Nice interior roads but a little narrow. No services. Dump station and potable water available. Asphalt sites with tables and fire pits. Really pretty campground near the Flaming Gorge Reservoir. Verizon Wireless was on Extended Network. No WiFi. Very nice staff.
Definitely a campground! No WiFi, no cable TV, no local TV, no wireless signal cause it too deep in the woods and mountains. 6 miles off interstate on narrow winding road. Appeared to be several worker travel trailers and 5ers. VERY STEEP driveway. 50 amp was $51, 30 amp was $41, way overpriced. Definitely not a good overnight stay. Old KOA, owner didn't want to spend the $ for WiFi and cable TV, trees need trimming, sites were muddy after a little rain. Walmart is across the interstate and there are more RV parks down the road in either direction. Would not stay here again!
Way over priced but as locals say "Welcome to Jackson". We enjoyed our stay. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Free morning coffee. Pool and spa at the motel. Virginian Restaurant was excellent. Grounds were neat and clean. Very busy park, reservations a must. Next summer it will be the only park in town! Verizon worked well!
Sites a little close but nice easy pull thrus. Wifi didn't work at our site. Cable TV was great with lots of channels. No Speed TV? Very good in town location. Registration staff was very helpful. Extremely quiet park for being in town. Definitely stay here again. Verizon worked very good here.
Definitely a campground. W/E sites, no sewer. Dump station available. Dirt roads and gravel sites. Lots of trees. River nearly unaccessable. Trees and limbs need to be trimmed back at all sites and entrance to creek side sites. A very quiet setting. Wildlife in the park. Bear was reported just down the creek. Recommend big rigs stay on upper level. Upper level has daytime highway noise. Park is on Beartooth Scenic Highway! Verizon wireless worked good here!
Passport America Park. Good overnight stop. No facilities. Don't count on the wireless to work. It didn't the night we were there. Just a few pull thrus. It was full, reservations a must. Mostly Passport America rvers.
Stayed two nights in a premium site. Swing, fire pit and concrete patio. Premium sites are next to dog run, trash dumpster, and playground?? Trash truck comes at 530 AM. Premium Site over priced. Stayed in nicer sites for less money. Small cafe in park for breakfast and ice cream. Staff here is wonderful and friendly. Flowers boxes were very pretty. WiFi worked good! Morning newspaper nice touch. We will stay here again but only because of location. If you want to stay for a few days, go for Jim and Mary's! Also be sure and visit the Smoke Jumper facility at the Missoula Airport. Very worthwhile.
Great park. Very well run and maintained. Nice sites with view and wind protection. Lots of places to walk. Great seafood at "Griffs". Staff was very helpful. Staying here was a pleasant experience and would recommend it to anybody. Verizon cell phone was iffy, air card worked? While we were there I was never able to use their wifi. When I checked in they told me the network wasn't working real well!
Very cute park but here's what happened. We called late afternoon and got a phone recording. It stated that they had sites available and to come on in. When we got there a half hour later the office was closed and the full sign was out. A lady drove in and asked if we had questions. I stated your recording says you have sites available, no so?? She said "Well we just can't change the recording every night". My question is "why not?". She offered dry camping in an unlevel grass field. No thanks, we went on down the road!
Not a good place to stay. Staff was friendly but that's all this park has going for them. Supposed to be adult park but we observed children walking dogs and there was a baby crying next door. Sites are real tight. Not a good place to pull in or out of. Driveway on a hill. Site was very unlevel. Gravel sites, no grass. Lots of old units that have been there awhile. We won't be back!
Very nice park with a very helpful office staff. Wireless worked good. Verizon cell service worked good. Nice wildlife museum on site. Car/Rig washing allowed for a fee. Laundry prices reasonable. Nice views of the mountains and trees. Very close to Glacier Nat. Park. Great Mexican restaurant in nearby Columbia Falls. Wal-Mart, not a super center, in Kalispell. We will definitely be back to this park! This park would be a 10 if it had a swimming pool. We stayed here eight days as there is a lot to do in the area! Be sure and tell the manager you read this review.
Nice park. No weekly rate. WiFi worked good. Verizon signal a little weak here but works. Grass at site is watered at night. When we were here the weeds needed some attention. It appears they might be shorthanded. No assistance to your site. Cable TV was a little fuzzy. Asphalt roads, no dust! Park says no washing of vehicles but I noticed some doing it anyway. Picnic tables at site needed some attention. All in all a better than average RV park. Would stay here again but might look across the street at Jellystone RV Park. It's hot here in July!
Nice park with beautiful scenery. Owner/Manager on site. Asphalt interior roads. Grass is mowed and watered daily. Wifi works! Very nice staff of workampers. We had a 2 night reservation and stayed for a week. Nice place to stay while visiting Grant-Kohrs Ranch and all the museums in Deer Lodge. Best auto museum I've ever visited in Deer Lodge. Prison museum very interesting. This park not far from Helena. We will stay here again on our return trip later this summer. This park would be a 10 if cable tv and a pool were available. Verizon cell worked fine here.
Pretty nice place to stay but not for long term. We were charged for a pull thru and got a back in. We were Passport America and were told all sites at PA rates were charged at pull thru price?? Interior roads very dusty and water pressure was way too low. We had to use our water pump to shower. Laundry was very expensive so wash your clothes before you stop here. We would not stay here again. Park wireless worked good and Verizon worked here to.
A very nice park with great sites with 360 mountain views. Ennis is a very quaint and unique town with a western flair. This is the first rv park where the sites have 2 sewer connection for easier hookup that we've ever seen. Definitely would stay here again!
This is a Passport America Park. Address is 1101 N Hwy 287 Cameron MT. With that address we assumed it was north of Cameron, WRONG! It's a long ways south of Cameron! We asked for our deposit back as we didn't want to stay out in the middle of nowhere. They refused thus the overall rating of 1. This park is for sale and appears to be lacking upkeep. The bar and restaurant appeared to be closed!
Nice park to stay away from all the activity of West Yellowstone but close enough to enjoy it if you want to. 13 miles from West Yellowstone. Be sure and visit Mesa Falls and Big Springs. Mountain views all around. Grass mowed short but needs some trimming. Staff very cordial. PA park. We stayed here a week and would stay here again. We enjoyed our stay here. Verizon worked good!
We actually didn't stay here but did a drive thru and checked it out. There is some confusion out there about hookups. NO SITES HAVE SEWER except the host sites. The gate clerk even told us there was full hookups! Not so! Very nice park with a great view from most sites. 37,38 and 44 are fairly level and have a great view of the lake and mountains. Picnic table grill/firepits available at most sites. Will stay here on our next visit to Park City UT.
Nice place to park. No activities. It appeared that the W&E and tent area was closed. Nice pool and spa. We got the off season weekly rate by mistake. We were quoted that rate and they were nice enough to honor it. Normal weekly rate during summer season was 275.00. Some rigs look more permanent the mobile. No vehicle washing allowed, well water system. Great free wifi. Verizon cell service was good. Pretty area but very expensive. We ate at home a lot!
Very peaceful park. RV Park is across and down the road from the motel and restaurant. The trail ride is worth every penny. We rode in Red Canyon and it was awesome. Trail ride is discounted for RV park stay. 30 amp, water and sewer at pull through site. Picnic table and fire pit at site. A little rustic but a good value for the $$. We would definitely stay here again.
Love this park. Nice facilities. Fishing docks, hiking trail goes along the lake. Very peaceful and scenic. Verizon Wireless worked excellent here. Great picnic tables and fire rings. We had a back in site with water and 30 amp electric. Cool nights and warm days. If you like to relax, this is the place!
Dry camping only. Nice quiet park in the tall pines. Dump was not included in park fee and cost $6.00. Restaurant in walking distance. Satellite TV reception in some sites. Verizon Wireless worked good. Tables and fire rings at most sites. This is a US Forest Service campground. Ranger station across the street. Close to Show Low with Walmart, Walgreens and other shopping available
We winter here for the season. Very nice park with very helpful staff. Lot's of amenities and activities. Facilities well maintained. Great restaurant and market. Wifi is not so good especially during the busy season. If it was better I'd rate this park a 10!
Nice quiet little park right next to Custer State Park. Very helpful staff that keep it well maintained. Good cafe right across the highway. Lot's of wildlife in the area to watch that sometimes come right into the park for fresh grass and water. There is a small pond in the middle of the park. Sites are long and roomy. Verizon wireless works good. Campfire rings at most site with firewood available at the office. I would definitely stay here again.
Nice park with a barn and silo for us farm boys. Just about the nicest and cleanest shower/restrooms I ever seen. Not much to do in the park but in the Smoky Mountains so lots of scenic drives. Lot's of Floridians in the park for extended stays. Great and helpful staff. Sites were pretty close. Grounds were well kept. I believe it's actually closer to Maggie Valley than Waynesville.
Nice clean well kept park. Dining at Casino was awesome. Sites were all concrete pull through with patio and picnic tables. 24 hour security and shuttle to the casino but a better walk. In a very rural area approximately 15 miles north of Topeka. It was a Passport America park at the time of our stay.
