This campground has two camping loops. Campground 1 and campground 2. We stayed in campground 2 which had full hookups and was the newer of the 2 loops. The weather was nice and the campground was half full. We liked the campground and look forward to going there again.
This campground was built by the CCC and it reflects its age. The trailer sites were pretty narrow and close to each other. The park is nice with plenty of shade but for newer trailers I would pass camping here.
Nice park with sites to suit everyones needs. Reservation are reccommended months in advance if one wants a easy in/out site. They need to remove some trees so getting in/out is not so difficult. Nice swimming beach that the grandkids adored.
This is a COE park right next to Silver Dollar City. There are sites to suit any type of tents, popups, travel trailer, fiver or motorhome. Wife and myself was impressed by this campground and intend to camp here as much as possible. Sites can be reserved up to six months in advance. We cannot say enough nice things about this park.
Nice campground with plenty of shade. We stayed here for 5 days with our grandkids. The rangers at this campground gave use fishing poles for the youngster to use and were very nice. Kids had a blast, there is nice bike/walking trails throughout the park. We have camped here twice and will always go back. Park is well maintained and we enjoyed it every time we have been there.
This is one of our favorite camping places, there is no water hookups but there is plenty of places where you can fill up at. The buffalo and longhorn wander freely. There is plenty of hiking and they have a state of the art interpretive center where you can learn all about the buffalo and history of the Wichita Mountains.
