This is a very nice park. The roads and sites are paved. The 1/4 mile paved road leading up to the hilltop park is fairly steep and has some hairpin turns, but they are negotiable and the climb is very do-able. The staff is super nice and helpful. The park is well marked on the highway and there are signs along the road giving you plenty notice of the upcoming turnoff. Wi-Fi worked well and the cable TV was good, but has a limited number of channels. We never could find an ABC station. The park is about 12 miles from downtown Hot Springs, but it's an easy drive. The park is very quiet and you can see in every direction from atop this hill. Very nice place to stay.
This is a really very nice park with wide concrete roads and wide concrete level sites that made it super easy to maneuver around. The grass between every piece of concrete is lush, well cut, and edged perfectly. There is not a spot of bare ground anywhere to be seen. The attendant was very nice. The park sits on the edge of a little lake with fishing allowed. The TV cable was not working. There is plenty room between sites and a real feeling of openness and not being crowded at all. This is a first class park.
This is a nice park for an overnight or a stay of a few days. Most of the sites are concrete and level with concrete roads. There is grass between the sites except for the few sites under the trees near the office, which have mud between the pads. There are 6 private bathrooms with doors that lock and showers that were clean. There is no cable TV and you have to pay Tengonet for their Wi-Fi service. It was about $5 per day, but the subscription is good at any park with Tengonet Wi-Fi. There was some noise from the adjacent airport from small aircraft and helicopters, but it didn't bother us. There was no jet noise. We've stayed here before and will again.
This is a first class park, the best we've seen anywhere. The sites are perfect. They are level concrete, with grass and a small tree for each site and lots of room between sites. All the roads are wide concrete. The casino will send a vehicle immediately to take you to and from the casino, restaurants, and 3 movie theaters with just a phone call. The large buffet restaurant is outstanding. The clubhouse is superb and has a pool. They are a Good Sam park and the rates are low. This is a luxurious park, that we most highly recommend. We both said "wow" when we pulled in.
This is a really nice park with a superb clubhouse and great staff that lead you to your site and dust off the sites picnic table and hookup boxes to clear the spider webs. It has a large heated pool and sauna, fishing pond, and many extras. The sites and roads are concrete, with plenty of room between sites. But, some of the sites are way off level. We also had a lot of trouble with the Wi-Fi despite being fairly close to the antenna. It was very unreliable at best and frustrated us for the 6 days we were here. Still, we'd highly recommend it and this was our second stay.
This park was a pleasant surprise. It has level concrete sites surrounding a small lake. It is very clean but very sparse with nothing but sites and no trees or landscaping. The roads are gravel. The main building had a small shop with some groceries and RV parts, all very nicely displayed. The staff is very friendly. It is about 2 miles off the interstate down a little country paved road and straight through a small neighborhood, but it was not a problem, and the location made it very quiet. The TV and wifi worked great. There was a nice amount of room between sites. We stayed in a motorhome and would highly recommend it for a short stay.
This KOA park is very good with level concrete sites, but they are packed close together. They have nice large trees throughout the park and at every site. The laundry facility is excellent. TV and wifi worked great. The park is very close to the interstate and noise could be a real problem if not camping in a motorhome with the windows closed. The park is close to several excellent restaurants and there is a superb visitor's center just outside the park with a cajun lady attending who is worth a trip to Lafayette just to visit with. This is a nice park that we'd definitely stay at again. The price of $50 is really high, but they make every 4th night free which works out to $35 per night which is pretty typical these days.
This is an excellent park with very friendly staff that lead you to your site. It is very clean and nicely laid out with level sites and concrete roads. It had all the amenities and the wifi and cable TV worked flawlessly. It is close to the loop of Tyler, TX which means lots of restaurants and shopping are close by. We stayed 2 days and were very pleased.
The park was a nice place to stay. It was very clean with level pull through sites of concrete and with gravel roads. The staff was available only a few hours a day on weekdays, but they leave complete instructions and a pay envelope for the honor system. It is near to restaurants and gas stations, and has easy access to the interstate. We'd highly recommend it.
