The location wasn't scary to us. Easily located off of Rt 90/Main St.. The WiFi worked great and was NO CHARGE! Everything was as clean and tidy as a nice hotel! Concrete pads and roads. Great work out area with built in spa. The heater in the pool was working and the pool was warm and clean. There is a beautiful community area with cards, puzzles and games that over look the man made lake. The owner was on site and helped with anything we asked. The other campers were friendly. This place is a destination location for us. Close to the Medical/Museum districts and Rice University as well as Reliant Stadium. Convenient to 610Loop. Love it! We will be back!

Great quiet location. Coming back from hurricane Gustoff. Beach access. The park has palm trees for shade that are new. This is right on the ocean. People are friendly and welcoming. This is not a commercialized area, though there are restaurants and groceries and a souvenir shop or two. You want quiet on the ocean...you got it! I would come here again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous facility! Did not check out the beach but all other facilities were great. It was quiet while we were there, it was during the week. The local roads leading to it sure could use a repaving. Unlimited HP lake. Nice sites on the lake. Wooded and open.

Very friendly area. We were there over the 4th of July. We stayed in the southern most area. It was quiet after 10 p.m. There are lake front that you can tie up boats to. Around the area there are LOTS to do. The Linesville, PA hatchery is and easy drive as well as a nature museum and the spillway that is famous for the large carp. I mean LARGE and lots. Kids can feed them. :) We stayed 5 days and on the weekdays it cleared out a lot. There were local fireworks. There is also PA state parks around this lake that sits on the PA line. It is a 20hp lake.

Lots to do in a clean, well kept state park. Sand volleyball, lake swimming, 2 playgrounds, horse shoes, basketball, nature center, weekend movies, hiking paths, boat rentals, bike rentals, mini golf.... Courtesy boat docks for campers! Shade and semi open sites. We saw a fair amount of 40' rigs as well as pop ups and tents. Campers were friendly and quiet in the evenings. There were convenient laundry facilities in each of the shower house. The host campers were helpful and available for questions. The park is great to bike in too. Not too hilly for the little ones. Restaurants on the lake for those with boats.

We stayed only 2 nights but WOW!! Ducks, geese, fish, ....it was quiet and beautiful. I would stay here again! Paved roads and crushed gravel pads. Some pads were paved. Many nice sites.

This place was one of those that is a newish campground that might not look like "wow" but what great people and this was one of the best times we had on a 3 week trip. Though we weren't there on the night of the fish fry, there were enough people that the owner had an impromptu one. Great company and we would stay here anytime coming up the Natchez Trace.

Riverview is right. You are right on the Mississippi. While we were there the river was in flood stage. It had crested but one side of the park was under water. There was no sewer, laundry, or dump station due to the river at flood. The roads were gravel, the pads concrete. The "club house was great, the staff was great. The bugs were tough. The staff fogged for them but the problem was caused by the flooded river. I would stay there again in a "New York minute"

Stayed one night. Most "campers" seem to be permanent. Concrete pads. Neighbor was nice. People get up early (some 5:30am) to go to work I presume. Had a heck of a time finding our site as they didn't give a map or escort.

We came in late and sign in was easy. There is a security guard house at night. The sites are basic with grass and stone pads. New trees are coming up. There is a nice but small pool, a nice area to walk the dogs, large laundry area (coin), there is a nice shady playground area and friendly staff. There is a tour company that will pick you up at the campground office, as well as a restaurant that specializes in the Elvis experience that will pick you up at your site in a pink limo. Walk to Graceland and the other Elvis museums instead of paying for parking in the lot worth $8. It was worth every dime if you are in Memphis for the Elvis experience. Good Sam park. When visiting Graceland we will stay here.

On the down side-Close to interstate so there is noise. Very tight sites. On the up side- Close to the Interstate for a convenient on and off for an overnight stay. It has a large pet walk area. People were friendly.

Stayed here on the way to Shiloh Battlefield. The pads were gravel but level. There were a number of seasonal but we were there on a tuesday and not many were in the camp. There a a lot of lake side sites looking at a beautiful lake. It was quiet and restful. The office listed Tuesday and Wednesday as days it was closed. We registered by "after hours" envelopes. There is a marina here too. We will come again if ever in the area. No satelite for the trees and we could not pick up a signal with our arial. Looking through the window the store looked nice.

I agree with all that the last person said. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the staff, convenience, and cleanliness. There is a car rental at the entrance which is in walking distance. There are a few sites with shade, not many. There is a shuttle to the casino regularly so try not to get on the sites in the most northern road. There is quaint shopping down town and wonderful murals on the flood wall downtown as well. We would stay here again!

The premium sites are on the end of culdisacs, there are path ways to go right down to the water's edge. The site we stayed on was L-16 and we could get satellite reception on it. It was pretty quiet and the staff was friendly. The WIFI was being worked on and they haven't got the bugs out of it with the company that was supposed to put it in. There is a boat rental at the marina and a few beaches, one for just the campers. Sites are private and most are shady. There is growth between sites and that gives you privacy from your neighbors too. We will go back.

We stayed on the July 4th holiday. It was not filled. Many people in Ohio do not know that this park is here. It is really small and older. There is a small lake with swimming area and a marina with boat rentals. The trails that we were on were nice. Over all a very quiet small park. There was weekend outdoor movies. Nice playground. We were here without children. I will stay here again.
