We arrived at Oak Grove and the entrance was beautiful. And that's were it ended, the people are not very friendly, they bring you to your site like you are on a Nascar raceway. The sites are not very level. They are long but not very wide and have a lot of mud. They need to put proper stone down. There was so much white dust that it gets all over your RV and jeep. No one seems to do anything. It would probably be a good place to work camp because they don't do anything. No one checks the empty campsite after the RV's leave. Next time we need a nightmare this will be the campground to come to. We will never stay here again, not even for one night
This is a great park, they are very nice in the office. The campground has redone all the sites with new stone and they are level and decent size. They have a great dog park. Book Exchange in the Rec Hall. The grass is cut. Its a little hard to get to, so use your GPS and follow the signs, it can be tricky getting here because of the interstate and the service roads. We will definitely come here again.
This is one of our favorite campgrounds to visit. Always great staff, when you pull in they are waiting outside to greet you with smile and hello. This year it stormed and rained for 2 days when we arrived, but the sites were fine where we were camped up top. Hunt Bros Pizza available. Lots of Outlet shopping available and shows to see. The sites up top are level with long cement pads to park on.
We start our vacation here every year. If we need any RV supplies this is the place to come. They have RV surplus stores and you can get things pretty cheap. This campground is very nice but saying that it needs a little work: like stone in the campsites, and people keep putting carpets down and killing the grass so the next person ends up in mud. But we really like this park and will always make it our first stop.
This campground is one we would only stay for a few days, the sites need a little work, we had to put boards under one of our landing gear to get it level. They have had a lot of rain in the last few days but the sites could use some stone and proper leveling. The people were very friendly, they have Hunt Bros Pizza. They have trains and airport near by so it can get noisy, but if you like airforce type aircraft then you will be fine.
This has to be the only campground that meets you at the entrance stop sign, rain or shine, cold or hot with a smile and a "Welcome". They are very hospitable and helpful if you need anything or help. If you go up top you get a level campsite with cement driveway pads to park on, but you might need a ground mat as these sites are crush stone, Id rather have stone than be in mud. They have a nice pool and they have a large Hot tub that I made use of every night. And lots to see and outlet shopping. We always make Branson KOA one of our stops, at least for 2 weeks.
I agree with the previous comments this park looks good at the entrance, but terrible sites messy yards, the roads are patchy. The gentleman that brought us to our site just drove to the site and waved and left, no help getting straight on our site. We paid $60 which I thought is expensive for what you are getting. I did notice that the Kamping Lodges are really nicely done. The Wi-Fi was a nightmare to try to get on and it is only for 1 day, so I will probably have to go through that nightmare again. We usually stay at Two Rivers down the road, its cheaper and much nicer, but they did not answer the phone when we tried to call a number of times. I did notice a sign at JellyStone for $30 fall special.
This park is nice but the area we were in needs a little work as in stones for the sites and roads. It looks like they have not done much work in these sites, but the sites on the other side of the office look fine. The pet walk was OK. The laundry was small only 4 machines $1.50 to wash. There is lots of shopping, with a Walmart nearby. We would come back to this park, but would stay on the other side of the office.
This campground has a great playground and pool, the Bark Park is nothing special. The sites are not that level, we had to put 3 boards under one side and we still weren't level. The sites could use some TLC. They need decent crushed stone put down. I found it a bit dirty. Also beware the laundry is $2.50 a load (a bit expensive). I only rated it a 4 because of the leveling and the dirty sites.
The park is very nice, the sites are level and long enough if you don't want to unhook. Lots of shade and the trees are trimmed so you don't have to worry about hooking a tree branch. The sites are stone and don't seem to be muddy or messy. Sorry no cable TV. We will definitely put this park on our camping list.
The manager is not very friendly. When we were to be escorted to our site he just went ahead to the site and did not wait for us, we had to guess which way to go. The women in the office were very friendly. The TV reception isn't very good, the Wi-Fi is not good. There is no shade at all. If we stayed here again it would only be for one night.
We always stay at this campground for at least a week or so,we always get full hookup. They have pancake breakfast for $2.99. They have 2 dog parks with potty bags. The management is very friendly. They also have Hunt Bros Pizza. The sites are reasonably long and level if you choose upper part of the campground. The lower part is asphalt and grass but are not as level. Lots of shopping, and craft flea market(in walking distance.) I would recommend this campground.
