This campground is awesome! Sites come in a range of sizes for small tents or tent campers all the way up to large motorhomes. You can choose from wooded sites to others that are more open with views of Priest Lake. There is a nice camp store which also serves ice cream, including the areas favorite, Huckleberry! Bathrooms are clean and there are individual showers available in some of the bath-houses. The beach is large and there is a dock as well as a boat launch. Perfect campground for a short or long vacation!

Steamboat Rock State Park is one of our favorites. We love to come here in the spring or over Memorial Day weekend before the summer heat hits. The campsites all have full hookups and are either right on the lake or you have a view of the water with just a short walk to reach the beach. Steamboat Rock itself is a great place to hike and the views from above are awesome! The trails are a little treacherous and steep so be sure to wear suitable footwear and be ready to do a little rock-climbing at times. Grand Coulee Dam is a short drive away as well!

We absolutely LOVE Riley Creek! The sites are large and in the woods with picnic tables and a fire pit provided. The Pend Orielle River is just steps away for boating or hanging on the beach. We enjoy staying here because it is only about a 20 minute drive from Sandpoint, so perfect for a day trip there to play on Lake Pend Orielle. Bathrooms are clean but be sure to have some spare change to use the showers. It books up fast every summer so reservations are highly recommended.

Beyond Hope is located on the east side of beautiful Lake Pend Orielle, about a half hour drive from Sandpoint. The beach and marina are very nice as is the onsite Italian restaurant which has a large outdoor deck for dining and enjoying the amazing sunsets! The sites, like most private RV resorts, are close together but some of them do have a view of the lake. The bathrooms are very tiny but fairly clean. Nice place for a weekend get-away!
