Based on a Good Sam rate of $30, the daily rate should have been $33 (10% discount) not $40. The Passport America rate of $20 was based on a $40 daily which is bogus. Further, they park two vehicles per site when their park map shows only one vehicle per site. The management agreed to refund my money if we leave. However we had been here for 5 hours. We did not leave, but we will never return to this park again. I suggest you look else where.
This park is not "Ocean Side". If you're lucky you can see the bay from your rig. The sites are narrow and roads are gravel/dirt. We've stayed at better overnight parks. They don't have an office or management on site during the day. They advertise satellite TV, but don't mention it when they come to your unit to check you in. I had to ask when I couldn't get any reception. Then I was given a receiver without any cables or instructions. They require a prepaid reservation. We stayed here for two days, but never again.
This park is about a year and one-half old and still in a state of construction. The sites and most of the roads are concrete. They appear wide when you look at them, but appearances are deceiving. Our site was not wide enough for a triple slide to have the awning out because of trees on both sides. Also it was not easy to back into. It took one of the owners five or six tries to get into the site after I was unable to get into it. We stayed here for week and met some nice people. We plan to return next year but to a different site.
This is a small quaint R.V. Park located by a lake. It has a lot of beautiful flowers and bushes. The sites are adequate in width for slide outs. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed one night this time.
