This park is just a little over a year old and still a work in progress. We used it for an overnight stay and were satisfied enough that we would return in the area. They gave us good directions to enter and it was very easy to get back on the 30/40 in the morning. The view of the river is beautiful at night. The park would benefit a lot if the owners would add some lighting as it is very very dark at night. The rate is a Passport America rate.
We stopped here for an overnight stay (on our way to Nashville) based on the reviews and a friend's recommendation. With the exception of the very narrow roads from I-81 into the park, it is a lovely, neat little park to spend some time in. The have ample pull through sites with full hook-ups, no freeway noise and very friendly staff. We would stay here again if we find ourselves in the area.
We used this park for an overnight stay and picked it based on the comments on this site. I made my reservation over the phone because I knew we were going to arrive after hours. The people on the phone couldn't have been nicer. It was easy enough to find and quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The park itself shows some age and has quite a few permanent residents. But there is something about it that is quite charming. It has a lot of trees but was satellite friendly and I'm sure it is very pretty in the spring/summer. We had a long, level pull-thru and would stay here again if we were in the area.
We picked this park for its proximity to Savannah and weren't disappointed. It's a pretty standard KOA - very nice people, lovely pool/spa and week-end activities. Richmond Hill has everything you need, including some great eateries. Your satellite will not work here but they have good cable. There Wi-Fi is also very good. The park is located on a lake with catch & release fishing, boat rentals and the most amazing collection of swans, ducks, geese, etc. While we were here there was a power supply problem which they addressed promptly - even though it was Sunday. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a very plain Jane campground which would be okay for an overnight stay but it is also not easy to find. The address did not come up in my GPS so the lady gave me the address of the church across the street. You pick your site when you get there and the Wi-Fi only works by the office and laundry room.
This is one of our favorite parks. The park is well laid out, well maintained and offers its guests lots of amenities. You can call a shuttle to take you to the hotel where you can use their indoor pool, workout room or check-out the railroad station restaurant and gift shop. The kennel is outstanding and we would have no hesitation leaving our kids there again. The town of Williams has several local eateries worth checking out and are close enough to walk to. The weather in Williams is awesome and the area surrounding the park is very pretty. This is our third time here and we would definitely stop here again.
The minute we pulled into this park we knew that it was going to be more than we expected and it was. The park is perfect in almost every way, from the very personable check-in process, including escort to the site, to the nicely paved roads and wide, long and paved sites. There is a great pool, jacuzzi, exercise room and best of all, a real full-service restaurant with a menu, bar, excellent food and service. When our travels take us through Bakersfield, we will definitely stay here again.
