I must confess, I was concerned this would be a tourist trap oasis but what a wonderful surprise. Everything is spotlessly clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and this park is one we will be certain to revisit. When we checked in, we were told there was a special if we stayed another night. Since this really is an oasis, I was dubious. Now wish we had time to stay another night and visit the Meteor Crater. Maybe on the way home in the spring. Anyway, what a wonderful RV park! This park really strives for repeat visits. Even hands out comment cards at check in! Oh, also has 2 spotlessly clean fenced exercise yards for dogs. Yeah!

We have stayed here many times over the last 5 years. This is the only real RV park in town. There are several restaurants we like and we enjoy the area. However, this was the last time we will stay here. The bathrooms were not clean, the trash was full, the showers were not clean at all, and somehow the cable TV was very fuzzy. (First time ever with our TV, so it was not our equipment.) Therefore the price is far too high for what is offered. We spoke to neighbor campers who have had the same experience. Think this used to be a great park but that is over now. We will now head to the Santa Rosa Lake State park nearby when in the area. Oh, we are still picking the thorns out of our carpeting from this park, and noticed some pet owners felt there was no need to clean up after their pets in this dirty park.

No discounts. Do NOT let them stick you in the back forty: next to giant propane tank and trash dumpsters. If it rains, be prepared for ponding due to blocked drains north of propane tank. If it is warm, be prepared for the smell of trash and the presence of rodents. Really overpriced with no cable TV or Wi-Fi!

This is a very clean and quiet park with large level pull thrus. It is well located and the showers/restrooms were being opened the day we left!! We will definitely stay here again!!

So, if you possibly can, do Not stay here. For $44 you get rude personnel, narrow, somewhat difficult sites with large boulders to navigate around, no cable TV, dirty sites (we found a dog collar and clothing) and the laundromat is the most expensive we have seen ever! Rocky Mountain Rip Off!! We firmly believe this place would be out of business but there are only 2 RV parks in the area! I will never stay here again. It is outrageously expensive for what it is. The staff should be fired unless, gulp, they are the owners? Yikes! They are installing a Zip Line System. Maybe they will be sued out of business with that! This is the worst kind of RV park. Other campers ran out to complain after we had checked in. They don't care if you ever return. We won't!

What a pleasant surprise! Very conveniently located, immaculate bathrooms and very nice family/owners. They serve meals and though we were burned twice at other campgrounds, this was good homemade dinners that were a fabulous amenity after a long, hard day trying to get through NM before a series of snowstorms begin. We will be staying here each time we pass this way!

I would give this park a 9+! This small park is clean and well run as both the owner and managers live on site. They are knowledgeable and helpful about every topic. The facilities are spotless- both the showers and laundry were always clean. This location requires driving to access everything but in return you get a very quiet and secluded area in return. We would definitely return to this park and recommend it to friends!

This campground is UNIQUE. You have to enter the smokey residence of the owners to register. Take a right or you will be in their bedroom! The bathrooms desperately need new floors (the throw rugs are too ragged to wash), but walls and showers are ok. However, the signs in the bathroom are the most BIZARRE we have EVER encountered. Multiple signs with threats. One begins, "I am sick of scraping boogers off the walls." And covers other bodily wastes that have been removed. Another sign details the proper disposal of used toilet paper (not in the trash). A body waste disposal war zone? The owners are very helpful but I could not work up the courage to confront them about these AWFUL signs as we were stuck staying here. We would not stay here again. Life is too short.

This is a well run rv park that seems to have many return visitors- including us! We have gone out of our way to stay here we like it so much. The couple/owners are terrific at hiring good staff and keeping the place spotless. They are willing to spend what it takes to maintain the park, and even continue to improve it. If we were ready to work at an RV park, this would be the place. We will be staying there again this month.

We have stayed at the lovely RV Park many times and have always loved the entire experience. We even ventured into the very elegant restaurant for a desert and were graciously welcomed (we were dressed for camping, not a 5 star restaurant) by a man who turned out to be the owner. Our last stay was disappointing in that the restrooms were not clean; usually they are very clean. However, we did show the manager our complaint and there was an amazing response- a coupon for a free stay with golf. The Benbow is well loved by many return guests for the European atmosphere, excellent food and service. We plan to always make this RV park our stopover on the 101.

If you love being able to camp on a sand peninsula on the water (Colorado River), having a campfire and enjoying the beautiful weather and privacy- this is a treasure. Every time we stay, we hate to leave. This is the best of camping- good hiking, nearby historically sacred native meeting areas with many pictographs (Spirit Mountain area west of Laughlin), total privacy and interesting groups of snowbirds on the long term peninsulas. We may be one of them next year!

This is a wonderful campground-one of our very favorites! This made us a big fan of Arizona State Parks and prompted us to seek them out whenever possible. The spaces are roomy, and the showers are spotless! The rangers and volunteers are very helpful and friendly. This state park is state of the art, gate key entry, great hiking, clean air, fabulous views, amazing cavern tours, viewable wildlife, good Mexican restaurant in Benson. Every time we stay, we want to stay longer!!
