Wow. Did not expect this KOA to be so amazing. The managers go way beyond your needs with info on local dining, shopping, etc., even letting us know a limo would pick us up for dinner! Talkative and charming, the couple even help a woman calm a frightened puppy of a Kamper who came by, by petting and talking to him. Super clean park: quiet, without the usual trains, or highway traffic. Owner and managers have tight control, without being hard-nosed. VERY much the opposite. The President's Award the got in 2010, couldn't be more deserved. Book and stay here with complete confidence. We loved it, and we're kind of picky.
One night stay. Our issue with not staying longer, was that owner would not ask camper to quiet her two constantly barking dogs. They were unleashed, and when we finally spoke to her about them, she roughly shoved them into crates outside her trailer. Barking con't., and owner would not address several complaints. He has no control or authority at his own park. There is a very poor store, pocked streets, and poorly marked spaces. Mainly, it was the "We'll go over and beyond to make your stay the best" statement on the website, that seemed laughable. They only do that if they don't have to make any effort. Will avoid this Kampground in the future. Much better options close-by.
