This park is for folks that need to be in Carrolton, Lewisville Texas for a long period. If you are a weekend or vacation camper, this park is not for you. The spots are very tight. The sewer line of the camper next had to be stepped over to enter my unit. This park has location, that is it. It is quite and crime free.
It is a OK place for a overnight stay. The cost is a little high for what you get. It was clean, but nothing to look at. Just a hundreds of feet of gravel. If not for the power hookup poles, it would be a large gravel parking lot.
Bring a four wheel drive, pot holes, and lots of mud. I have never seen a KOA park look like this. I could never get in to the washing machine. The park allows people from the trailer park next door to use the laundry. The pool is full, they allow people to buy a membership to the pool. The park is full of drunk migrant workers, standing in the roadways. The sites are small, and very hard to get into. There are vehicles parked in the road, making it very hard to park. My water and sewer hose was run over by the next door camper. They have two full size vehicles, and a 39' fifth wheel on a 60' site. They just park where they want.
If you are looking for a concrete slab, here it is. The park is very clean. The staff is horrible. The manager is the worst witch ever. The list of rules is very long. They don't like you being outside of your camper. They will not allow a trailer in the park, nor a boat. The golf carts fly by all hours of the day or night. The golf carts are actually a 4 wheeler type thing with a gas motor. Noise. No trees, no shrubs, nothing to do. They ride the park looking for something to complain about. No cable. If you are caught breaking the rules, and not there, they will duct tape the rule sheet to your door. The offense will be hi lighted in yellow. Do yourself a favor, drive on by!
The note I mentioned was a picnic table violation. The lawn crew moved the table leg from the slab on to the grass. I had a note taped to the door to put it back on the slab. The lawn crew also mowed my patio mat. The mat was torn beyond repair.
