We stopped at this campground after seeing large new billboard on I-40 eastbound advertising Sky City Casino and RV Park - there was a large red sign at the top of this billboard advertising RV sites $12 per night. When we arrived at Sky City RV Park the attendant said it was $19 per night, when we told her about the sign, she said she could not honor advertised rate. Accessible for large rigs, behind casino.

Very bad roads coming into campground, the gravel roads within the campground have a lot of bumps and uneven. Don't think we would stay again. A better choice would have been to stay at the Casino parking lot at this exit.

Very friendly campground owners & hosts, extremely friendly group of campers willing to help. There is a pavilion with summer activities and music. Also a propane campfire that is legal during burn ban. Campground is open, even though the forest is closed. The restrooms are spotless, a nice laundry with almost new washers. The office has a cell phone network booster and there is cell service for Verizon. Good Wi-Fi service. The Rio Penasco River runs on the south side of the campground and there, they say some fish for trout in the small river. We saw deer and turkey near the river. This is a hidden treasure.

Park has water and elecricity, but only has dump. The beach was was not clean, at a disadvantage due to red tide and dead fish. A bit pricey for a country park with no amenities. The night before we arrived, thefts were reported in the campground with camping items left outside or in the back of pick-ups.

Nice COE park: level pad, fire pit, lots of shade, quiet, lake access, dump station, good security through park rangers, attractions nearby wildlife park, National Recreation area and casino.

Nice sites with trees. A bit pricey @ $23 a night just for water and electricity. They charge $10 for the site and an additional $13 for electricity. Corp of Engineer parks would be a much better choice for the price.

Friendly & accommodating staff, clean laundry facility with 3 washer & dryers, iron & ironing board. Nice deck with picnic tables outside the laundry room, overlooks stream. Concrete patios with picnic tables at each site, small shade trees. Good Wi-Fi service. Trolley stops frequently to transport to entertainment areas & shops. Enjoyable stay.

Shady sites, dump station is in loop B, poorly marked had to ask for directions. Take your mosquito spray and be sure you have treated your pets for fleas & ticks. A bit muddy when it rained.

Nice office staff, interior roads had ruts apparently from rains, a step grade to pull out of park, OK for an overnight stay in dry weather' This is a mobile home park with several RV sites.
