We just stopped here for one night and this park is OK for that. Staff is very nice and accommodating. They apparently put the overnighters in the front rows so closest to the (busy) street which was pretty noisy at night. Sites are long enough to leave the car attached, but very narrow as are the roads. Since we were just staying the one night we didn't bother with the awning, but don't know that we'd have had enough room to open it anyway. Kind of an odd traffic pattern, too. Two way streets when there is barely enough room for one rig. Internet is good.

This park is fairly centrally located to explore Mt. Rushmore, the Black Hills, etc. There are plenty of pine trees for shade. Sites are gravel but not level by any stretch. We arrived after a couple days of rain and the ground was quite soft and muddy. Driving through the park is challenging as roads are quite narrow with not much turning radius. There is NO TV of any sort. If you have satellite you may or may not have reception based on trees & site location. Luckily, we have a good library. Owners are very nice and helpful. Lots for kids to do. Pet areas are inadequate and unfenced. Our site had no grass. We were here 3 days but mostly visited area attractions. Not much quality or quantity for dining out in the area.

This park is nicely laid out, but needs some work. The interior roads are extremely narrow. Two cars cannot pass much less two large RV's. Perhaps a one-way traffic pattern would help but since the sites aren't all entered from the same direction, I don't know if that is feasible. As previously mentioned, the park is surrounded by wetlands (swamp) and the grassy areas were extremely waterlogged and muddy. We paid $20 extra for a pull thru site that was quite long and graveled, but very narrow and terribly uneven. We were unable to adequately level our coach and I saw more than one that had one end or the other completely off the ground so seems to be a problem throughout. Staff was friendly but seemed confused. We wanted to get propane upon leaving and were first told we'd have to pre-pay. When I returned to do that after checking on the size of our tank I was told to pay after it was filled. Pretty park and fine for a couple days, but don't think I'd want to be here long term...especially during mosquito season.

Nice, big sites, all with plenty of shade. Sites are grass/gravel and mostly level. Water, electric, sewer, cable all work just fine. Laundry has older machines, but all are functional, and the laundry building is air conditioned. This park does not have a pool or restrooms, but it sure is nice to have a decent amount of room between us and the neighbor. The park is 10 minutes from Savannah and 25 from Hilton Head. The owners are very nice and helpful. We loved the feeling of being in a park, and our dog enjoyed thinking she might get to chase the numerous squirrels. We would definitely stay here again.

This campground is in a beautiful park and is set up very nicely. The "pods" are well laid out so sites are easy to get into. We had plenty of space and shade and it was quite peaceful. There is plenty of room for bicycling, walking or running. The lake is quite pretty and fishing is allowed. The laundry by our pod had 4 each washers and dryers as well as an outdoor line to sun dry your clothes if you desire. The first week one washer was out of order but it was fixed the next time I went in. Not that usual for many RV Parks. The staff were great and it appeared that quite a few campers were settled in for the long term but there are a lot of sites and we had no trouble getting in. We would definitely return to this park.

I read the previous reviews on this campground before we arrived, but I rationalized that since we were only going to be here 3 nights during the week, we could manage with the noise. I was wrong. The other reviewers were absolutely correct. We had a site just across from the pool (and pub). Two nights of the three, there was live music. The music begins at 7pm and goes until 10:30 or 11:00 and it is l-o-u-d. I can't imagine there is a site in the entire park that is free from it. Worse, by the time the entertainment is done, everyone listening is pretty smashed and spends the next few hours wandering through the campground yelling and carousing. The "quiet time" from 11pm-8am is a joke. The small "beach" is dirt rather than sand but it IS on the water. The pool and hot tub are nice but was always full of kids, so we did not use it. Roads and spaces are quite tight but the staff is very good at helping the rigs maneuver into their space. The staff is all very nice and it appears they are here every season. We enjoyed being so close to Key West but will not be back here again. The inability to get a good night's sleep was just too much.

This is a lovely State Park and we were delighted that we decided to stop. It is right on Mobile Bay and there is a very nice fishing dock as well as a boat ramp. There are pull through and back in sites and, while all can see the water not all are next to it. The grounds are impeccable and there are plenty of big shade trees. The staff was delightful and very helpful. The park is gated at night, so quite secure. Only two things were problematic for me. One was the sign by the dock discouraging feeding the alligators (duh!) but the other was the park host transferring a Water Moccasin to the water. Please know I am extremely fearful of snakes so this may not bother others. This is a lovely park and, reptiles aside, I would be happy to go back.

We originally planned to stay one week but liked the park and area so well we extended to two. The office staff is very helpful but hours are a little problematic. The office is open M-F from 9-4 (closed 12-1 for lunch). Closed on weekends. We had a reservation but arrived on a Sat. Staff left info for us and there is a phone to call the on duty person who came and helped us get into our space. He was great. Roads are narrow and I haven't seen any pull thru spaces but the back ins (once you get parked) have plenty of room. There are big shade trees all around which is good/bad. Nice to sit outside but they drop stuff all over the coach. Not all spaces have the trees. Love the outdoor laundry. There are plenty of machines and they are reasonably priced. Went in and looked at restrooms (which are clean) but use our own facilities. There are a lot of folks here long term but they are friendly and there are lots of fun activities going on. The only down side is the shooting range that is next door. Weekends and Wednesdays I felt like I was in a war zone but then I am not a gun aficionado. If we come back to St. Pete we will definitely stay here.
