This is a city campground which means it's quite cheap but the facilities are not to great. They have coin showers and the sites were tight and sandy. It's located at a lake with some nice scenery. The host wasn't really nice to us and the wifi was only available outside at a really inconvenient place. Maybe it's nice to sit out there with the sun but we had a bit of a windstorm. We would stay somewhere else next time
This is the nicest campground we stayed on in North America. The staff couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. They gave us a survival package and two silver dollars as change. A nice gesture if you ask us, quite unique. The sites were really big and level. You have free wifi at your site. Our price is with Campclub discount. The showers were so great it feels like you are at home. They are located in the nicest recreation room with a heated patio in front of it. You can also sleep in an actual train cabin if you want and they looked real comfortable. There are also normal motel rooms to stay in. The campground has easy access to the Grand Canyon and the great town of Williams along Route 66. We would definitely stay here again.
This campground is conveniently located along the highway along with a couple of restaurants, shops and gas stations. The campground has really nice concrete sites but no trees for shade. We had wifi at our site and it worked fine. The staff was friendly. The restrooms were ok but there was only one for each gender. When you go to San Francisco from this place you can easily take the ferry from Alameda for about 25 dollars for 2, two-way tickets. Parking can be difficult in San Francisco. You can park for free at the dock in Alameda.
Now this is a campground that can call itself a resort. They have pretty much everything a five star hotel would have. 2 pools, 3 hot tubs, exercise room, big recreation center, library with internet access and lots of organized activities. You even get a discount card when you check in for a couple of local shops. The staff was really friendly and willing to help. The campground itself is so big that you might get lost and that's the only reason why we give it a 9. We do not encourage golfcarts on campgrounds and with a place like this the temptation to get one is quite big. We would stay here again.
This campground is located in the middle of a desert and that's why it's very dusty. They have some nice old cars on the property and sort of a museum inside also. Three Hollywood movies have partly been filmed at their location. The sites were level but you can't really get any shade. Wifi didn't work on all their access points but eventually we got one good connection. If you want that one, ask for a space near the office. The restrooms were clean. We would stay here again for an overnight.
This campground has really nice big concrete level sites. The owners are really nice and they have a great pool and hot tub for your convenience. The restrooms were nice and clean although you've only a shower curtain to cover up your space. Internet was free available in the office but you have to pay to get it at your site. You can use their printer for a small fee. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a really small campground but is easily reached through the old Route 66. The manager was nice and we could get wifi for a dollar that's included in the $11 price we mentioned. That's the price with Passport discount. Sites were not really level but you can get some shade. The restrooms were not that great looking so you might want to be self contained when you come there. For an overnight we would stay here again.
This campground did not honor the discounts from Campclub and Passport like they are supposed to. We only could get a discount if we stayed 2 or 3 nights and that is not really tempting. A lot of permanent residents and the facilities looked poor. The sites are muddy and not level. They have free wifi but the guy in the office didn't understand any of it. We could barely understand him because of the accent. We would never stay here again
This campground is very easily accessible from the interstate but the nearby traffic didn't bother us. Some people here complained about an animal shelter but we haven't heard anything. There is Wifi but it isn't free. We got it for free at the Wendy's across the street, don't eat there though if you ask us. Sites were not really level and a bit dusty. The restrooms were really clean. We would stay here again for an overnight.
This is a well maintained campground with large pine trees and a lot of cones that come with it. Nice level and roomy sites. The property of the campground is quite big with the permanent residents on one end and lot of seasonals on the other. Showers in the back didn't work but that might had something to do with the weather. The laundry there was open though and looked clean. Wifi was free and worked fine at our site in the far back of the campground. The staff was very friendly and if you're into cabins, they have some really nice ones in typical Mississippi style. We would stay here again.
This park is easy accessible from the highway. They have nice level sites and are located by a big lake. The laundry room came off a little old and smelly so we didn't used it. They have a restaurant on site but don't expect much of it and it closes really early. There's a big barking dog right next to the campground. The restrooms looked good, we didn't used the showers though. Wi-Fi is available at a charge. We would probably stay somewhere else next time.
This campground is a little out there in the woods but has a nice setting. They have a wood oven heated spa and pool which is really nice. The restrooms are a bit tiny and not that convenient but they did the trick. The sites are shaded but when you arrive it's unclear where your space really is. The light is kept at a minimum at night. Wi-Fi is available for free at your site. We would stay here again for an overnight not longer mainly because of the spa.
This campground is a good deal if you want to visit the Orlando theme parks. Wi-Fi is available for free in the recreation room which is really big. They have socials there regularly also. The sites are a bit soft and not really level. Shade isn't really possible. The park is located right next to a highway but it didn't really bother us. We would definitely stay here again.
Lots of long timers in this campground. That didn't really affect the quality of the campground though. The showers could use a little work but were clean enough. Wi-fi is free available in the recreation room along with a TV. Watch out for the old french people playing domino's. The sites are soft and surrounded by lots of big trees. The campground is very close to Busch Gardens. If we going back to the Tampa area we would stay here again.
Although we were a little shocked about the price rate at first this campground offers a good value for that money. The staff couldn't be more friendly and guided us to our site. The sites are really spacey and level, not much trees around. They made sure that we got everything we needed. Wi-fi wasn't available but you can hook up to a telephone line in the library. The restrooms and showers were outstanding. We had a nice breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay here again
We checked in to this place because it's by the keys. An affordable place, but we bet you can stay at much nicer places over there. The sites were pretty small and we barely could fit our 22 foot RV in. Imagine it with your bigger rigs. Lots of extended stays around. That didn't do the campground any good. They offered no wi-fi but we found some free connections anyway. The restrooms and showers were ok. We would not stay here again.
We were planning on camping here because it's so close to New York and it's open in the winter. Eventually we didn't stay here because it's just a parking lot with some hookups and not a pretty one. While walking around we didn't feel really safe and comfortable. That said, the owner would have charged us 30 dollars a day for this mess. We advise you to avoid this place. "We did not stay at this park".
This is practically a 55+ park but we could stay there anyway. It is far away from bigger cities with shops and restaurants. There is wifi available with charge. You can hook up for free at the local library. The restrooms and showers were clean but not really convenient as you had only shower curtains and no locks of any kind. The sites are pretty level but a bit on the soft side so be careful were you park your vehicle. No shade whatsoever. The staff is friendly and they guided us to our site. We would stay here again for one night but not any longer.
This a park with lots of long term campers. It still looked pretty neat. The place we got was an overflow one and that was on the narrow side. The normal sites aren't that big either. You had to pay for the Wi-Fi. We didn't use it and we got free Wi-Fi at the little Ice Cafe next to the very near Publix store. The restrooms and showers were clean and well maintained as was the pool. For the price we paid you can stay at a lot nicer campgrounds in the area, Davenport for instance. We would not stay here again.
This park is easy accessible from I-75, the road noise didn't bother us. The owner was a little bit grumpy and charged us $3 extra for the electricity because it was going to freeze that night. That seemed a little strange. The sites were level and there was enough shade. The restrooms were clean and heated but looked somewhat dark. For an overnight stay this place is ok but we wouldn't stay here again.
This campground is located far away from shops/restaurants and is not easy to see from the road. The owners came off a little moody and uninterested and were not to thrilled about our Campclubusa discountcard but they gave it anyway. The sites are ok but it's all open with no trees. We didn't get wifi reception in our spot. The restrooms were clean, the water we used didn't really get warm though. This park is ok for a overnight stay but not any longer.
We stayed here during snowing conditions and this place felt like an oasis. They were the only campground in the area to have heated restrooms open and they were of the nicest kind. We came there when the office was already closed. We could just pick a spot and the owner checked on us later to ask if we needed anything. The wifi worked flawless over there. We would definitely stay here again but at the nicer Passport America rate.
This is a nice campground, very easy accessible from I-40. The owners were very helpful and friendly. You can get free wifi in their office or laundry, not from your site though. The sites were spacy enough and you can get enough shade if you want. We stayed here just one night but would definitely stay here again.
This is a nice campground. The owners are very helpful and nice. We stayed here in the winter with snow all around so we didn't use the water. Don't know if sites are level because the snow was everywhere. Wi-Fi is free, worked the first day, second day not. We would definitely come here again. Maybe with better conditions. Good place to take a visit to the Falls. The showers and the toilets could be better. It looked a bit unfinished.
This RV park is a bit far from shops and restaurants but has good access to the Shenandoah National Park. They have a nice recreation room and Wi-Fi which you have to pay for. The campground has sort of a cowboy western theme going on which isn't really working for the restrooms we had to use. The flapping doors were not that convenient and the toilet didn't work properly. The sites are level and you get enough shade if you want to. The people are very nice and have a little convenience store if you need anything. We would stay here again, a bit expensive for one night though, even with the Camp Club USA discount we got.
