This is a great place for a RV rally. They have a big clubhouse that has everything you might need. Staff are the best at making your stay great. Our club has been coming here for 8 years. We will be back next year.
This place is great. Our club has been coming here for years and we love it. The sites are nice, it is clean and very quiet. The owner is always around to assist you if you need anything. Easy for big rigs to get around. It is very close to everything the area has to offer. Our favorite thing is the creek that runs behind the sites.
This park is way over priced for what it is. The sites are close, you have to drive down a hill to reach the lake sites. There is no turn around anywhere. One way in and one way out. I am sure some of the sites you will have to back out of. The price of $60 bucks is way to much. If you have a big rig, stay away. The only good thing I can say is the guy at the gate is really helpful.
This is one of Alabama's oldest state parks and you can tell it. The sites are bad off level. The roads around the campsites are in need of repair. The road leading into the campground is very steep for all. I think it is 16 miles off the interstate. The views around the park are excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This is one of those places where I have been, got the t-shirt and won't go back.
This is a really nice place. Our rv club has been going there for years. They have a nice big clubhouse with heat and air, kitchen, and bathrooms. It is off the interstate so you don't get the noise. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They even made cupcakes for our club this year.
We were met at the gate by very rude camp host. I arrived on Thursday night. I am a member of Camp Club USA. I was told the weekend started on Thursday night so they wouldn't honor my card. We weren't shown to our sites. Just drove around till we found one. Lots of people living at this campground. Our site was in full sun with no shade. The roads are very dusty. I would not recommend this campground to anyone. People drove around all night in golf carts. Needless to say I want go back.
