Neat and well looked after. Has friendly owners that don't tolerate any messing around. Very quiet, good WiFi. Ajo is a pleasant small town with good facilities. We would definitely stay here again, only for longer.
Good check in. A well laid out park. Was easy in and out; had good WiFi, cable for $'s. Very clean washrooms and laundry. There was propane on the property, and you can walk to Safeway. We would stay again.
Nice park: pleasant check in and escort to site. It's quiet. There are lots of workers from the pipeline project, but it's still quiet. Internet is decent. The sites are gravel and there's no grass. Rate was Escapees $.
Also known as RV Camp & Cabin. Friendly owner, pull throughs, near the tracks but no switching just trains moving through & away from crossing. Good 30 amp power & close to all friendly Glenns Ferry has to offer. Rate was Escapee's rate.
Stayed for 3 nights, yes the place is gravel, many are. Staff are reasonably friendly, that's OK. WiFi was probably the best we have had for quite awhile. Lots of room between sites, I like that. Highway noise yes, but we have stayed in many where it is much worse. I wouldn't want to make this a long term stay, but would stay again for a few nights. Close to good shopping in Casa Grande without being in the middle of it. They could use some concrete pads at all sites instead of just their "premium" sites at $40.00 a night.
Nice clean, quiet friendly park, good check in. I liked the rate. The washrooms, etc. are very clean, the laundry is clean and affordable. Has a local phone, no charge. Propane for sale on site. WiFi is Tenego pay site, but if you are in the right spot you can poach on American RV Park's hot spot, it's spotty but good enough for e-mail. Stayed 4 nights and definitely would come back. Some highway noise and the picnic tables could use some repair.
Decent spot for a couple of nights. Some train noise but no train horns. Rear located hookups not a problem if you carry extensions, I see this in a lot of higher end parks also. Spots are gravel, lots of others are as well. Friendly check in with P/A rate. They are also Escapees discount park. I'd go back. WiFi worked really well, much better than most.
This an Escapees park so you must be a member. It is actually in Hollister, MO not Branson. Friendly staff and a nice park with good sites and services. WiFi is Tenego pay as you go, but worked very well. Grocery shopping and fuel close by and a short drive to old Branson. We stayed two nights.
A very well laid out park, easy in easy out for short stays. Just what we need when travelling. You pick your own spot and they collect before 9 PM. Good service connections, and for a change, decent WiFi. Some railroad noise in the back ground but that is music to my ears. Gorgeous sunsets and sunrise. Friendly owner that has a minute to chat, but have cash or checks as they don't take credit cards.
This is a great short stay spot with wide sites and the price is free for the first 2 nights, then $10.00 per night after. We stayed 2 nights while visiting the Hitch Hiker plant. Very friendly town with good shopping. WiFi is very spotty but good enough for e-mail.
OK park, staff friendly and helpful, sites are tight but OK for 2 nights. Wi-Fi is slow and spotty. When surfing, sends me to shopping sites that I didn't click on, I have no virus. Biggest draw back is constant Hwy 65 noise, it isn't a low hum in the back ground, it is just noisy. We would stay again for a night if traveling through. This was the Escapees rate, they are PA park but no sites available.
Great small town park, quiet area, friendly and helpful owner. Decent Wi-Fi for a change, good cable TV. There are some worker bee's from local projects but he limits the number. I would stay here again. We stayed here for 2 nights and would have stayed 3 more but park was booked up for a local arts and crafts fair.
Nice park, suited our needs being close to D.C. & Baltimore for tourist stuff. Site was average, staff friendly, try the ice cream sundae at the cafe (take a friend) and the crab cakes were the best I have had, lots of crab not many bread crumbs, perfect.CG was quiet but surrounding freeways were noisy 24 hrs. Directions for touring DC were good. Wi-Fi is very spotty and borderline, this is becoming a recurring theme. They all advertise it but don't always deliver. Our rate was the G/S rate. We would stay again.
Very pleasant operation, very friendly and helpful owners. Has on site store, this not a resort but a fun, regular folks campground. No sewer hookups but has a dump station. They operate a grist mill on site and sell some of their own products. Some highway noise behind you but you hardly notice. We stayed two nights while visiting the East Broad Top Railroad at Rockhill Furnace, PA. Also a Good Sam park. Would stay here again if in the area.
Rate quoted is P/A rate for 3 services. Out of the way, but that makes it quiet. Roads are gravel and very rough you will have no problem abiding by the speed limit. Water and sewer connections are at the back of the rig so make sure you have extensions. WiFi is $2.99 a day and is OK but not great by any means. As others have stated they have live or cooked lobster available. The place is not a resort but suits our needs quite well. I would stay here again as long as it was the P/A rate.
A great National Park, could use some branch trimming for higher rigs, we are 12'6" high. I have found that they do not mind if you help out by trimming a little, I always carry a set of heavy duty branch loppers. Close to ocean but just in a great area. Staff are friendly and helpful but like most national and state parks are under funded and under staffed. I would stay here again, very quiet at night and has a cutoff for generators at 7:00 PM.
Basically a gravel pit, quiet even with a lot of worker rigs and gravel trucks. OK for 2 days of sight seeing but not too many redeeming features. General area has interesting things to see. Easy to access of Highway #1 either west or east. Wi-FI absolutely is the poorest we have had on this trip yet. They wanted to put us in an electric and water site only. I asked if we got a reduced rate for no sewer as they charge same rate for all, conveniently they found a 3 service site.
This is a friendly park with lots of Marine Atlantic ferry patrons coming and going. Had a musical get together in the barn at night, was quite good. Chip and snack wagon on site. Sites are level but had no privacy between. Good starting point for touring Louisbourg and Cape Breton Highlands. WiFi has been updated and is very strong.
Had a water/electric site, not much grass and red mud where there was no grass. The 3 way sites looked quite nice. Not particularly friendly at check in, I asked for a non serviced site, was told they didn't have anything suitable but there were other fivers in the tenting area the next a.m. WiFi was borderline. Washrooms were clean but could use some updating. Price paid was with tax.
Great National Park, quiet, lots of privacy, not too brushy. Rate we used was for electric and water with a pass. The pass is very good value (new this year) good not just for camping but all National attractions and good for a year. We used at Louisbourg and saved $35.00. The other reviewer is spot on: Tides Restaurant has the best shrimp I have ever had. Would come back again.
