Nice RV park for a one night stay. It is all gravel but it was neat, clean and had good distances between spaces. There were a number of long term sites but they were all kept neat and clean. The hookups were good and the sites were level. The roads are wide and are easy to around. The check in person was very friendly. It was easy on and off the freeway with very little noise. We will stay again
This is a very nice park. The sites are long with good space between. The roads are paved and the sites are small gravel/dirt. Our site was level and it looked like there rest were fairly level also. We were in section C and it was great. The hookups were good and the people were friendly. Each site had a concrete patio with a nice table. The were some long term residents and they were all clean and neat. It is about 10 miles off the freeway but it is worth it. We would stay here again
This is a very nice park. The roads and sites are conrete with grass in between. Needed one pad to level so it would drain well. Hookups were great. It has some trees and some sites are in the open. This is a well-designed park. The long term residents were neat and clean and are separated from the short timers. An excellent park. The only reason for a 9 instead of a 10 is the road noise from the freeway. We would stay here again
This is a nice park. The pull through sites were long and the space between was good. The site was level and the hookups were good. There was a bit of road noise but not bad. The people were very friendly. A number of long time RV's but each one was nice and clean. We used it as a base to visit Dallas which is about 25 miles away. If your in the area use this park.
A clean small park. We stayed here to visit trade days in Canton. We just took a flyer on this park as we were to late to get a site a larger one. This one worked great. It is about 20 miles from Canton. We had a pull through site with cement pads. If they were busy they would be close together, but they weren't. Pads were level and hookups were good. We would stay here again
Nice enough park but we do not care for the shared post where one RV parks going one way and the other parks going the opposite way. Fortunately they were not busy so we didn't have close neighbors. The cable was very snowy and out sewer hook up was tough to use. The good parts were the sites were level and the rest of the hookups were good. Easy on and off the freeway and not too noisy and the people were friendly. We would stay again.
This is a decent park, close to the highway, level and shaded. The water hookup is a bit different but not unmanageable. The park just has a bit of run down feel as there isn't much grass between the sites. For us, it was OK for a night but just not a pleasant "feel" for a longer time.
We liked this park. We had a premium site which was cement and nice but all of the sites were good. There is good room between the sites and they are angled well. Most are pull throughs. The sites were level will good hookups and wide roads. The location in Sevierville seemed to be the best for us. We were there for Rod weekend and the roads from the campground to Gatlinville were packed so it was good to have the campground at the North end of the congestion. The pricing is expensive but on par with everywhere else. We would stay there again
This campground is not real easy to get around in. It is on a hill and big rig sites are not plentiful. They are a bit close and getting out was a bit tight. The hookups were good and the cable was excellent so all wasn't bad. It is just barely big rig friendly so be sure and plan ahead to get a suitable site.
This campground is overpriced. KOA's are high priced but this one doesn't deliver. The sites are just way to close. The park layout is just a hodge-podge of sites facing different ways. The people were nice but with no cable, sites close together and a generally crowded campground is it wasn't a good impression. The sites were level and we would stay again but only if we had to.
This is a well thought out RV park. The sites are well spaced, level and angled with wide roads through out the park. We spent the Labor day week here and really enjoyed our stay. There is not a lot to do for children inside the park but a lot outside due to Mammoth Cave. The hookup were good and the people friendly. The landscaping was very nice but no trees for shade. We liked everything else so much we didn't mind. It is easy off the freeway and little noise. We wish more campgrounds were this well designed. The only reason it is not a 10 is the sites are not cement. They are a good grade of gravel with grass in between. Don't miss this one.
This is just an ok park. The road in is narrow so be careful. The park is an older one and they try to keep it nice but the sites are very close together and the most of the units are backend to backend on a long pavement. The cable was excellent for us but two of the neighbors complained of the connection not working. The roads are a bit narrow and the sites are not angled which makes backing in difficult if the park is full. The hook ups were ok but you shared a water hookup with your rear neighbor which made one of them on the wrong side of the unit. We would look around for another park but would stay again if we had to.
We liked this campground. It is now a Jellystone and a bit expensive. The sites are level with decent spacing and grass between the sites. There weren't a lot of people here during our stay so we had no one around us. We walked the park and all the sites looked nice and there are some nice tent sites also. The only negative was at our site the sewer was above the site which made for some "milking" upon dumping. We would stay there again.
This is a nice campground. We stayed for one night and got a cement spot. The sites are a bit close but nothing to worry about. It was level and the hookups were good. We were not bothered with any road noise. The park is well taken care of and is easy on and off the highway. We would rate it higher if it had cable.
We enjoyed our stay here. It just doesn't stand out in our minds. The sites are level and all pull throughs. The roads are dirt and gravel with grass between the sites. The sites were spaced somewhat close but the hookups were good. The people were nice but the park is just a KOA park. Adequate but not cheap. That being said we would stay here again.
This is a small but very nice park. The roads as well as the sites are paved. There is good space between the sites and the hook ups were good. The Wi-Fi and cable TV were both excellent. There was an great walking path right next to the park which made the stay enjoyable. There isn't much in town to see but this is a hidden gem. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a great park if you have children. There is a lot for them to do and well taken care of. The park itself is all in the trees and some sites weren't very level and somewhat close. The site we had required two levelers to get level although the one next to us didn't require any. The seasonals were well kept and nice. We didn't use the Wi-Fi but the TV antenna brought in good stations. We used it as a base to visit Milwaukee and the surrounding area. We would return.
This was an OK RV park. It is overpriced for what you get. The Wi-Fi was slow for us and there isn't any cable and just about nothing from the antenna but the park was clean and well taken care of. The roads are dirt and gravel with grass between the sites. The road are a bit narrow and the sites a bit close. Kind gave you a packed in feel. Most of the sites are pull through and level. They try and separate the seasonals which were all clean and nice. Not much to choose from around this part of Door county but an excellent base to explore from.
We enjoyed our time here. The park separates the transit visitors from the seasonal. The seasonal sites were well kept and nice. The park is dirt and gravel roads with grass between the sites. There are a lot of trees but getting around was fine. Most of the sites are pull through and level. The space between the sites was acceptable. We used our own Wi-Fi and there was no cable. It is a good place to explore the peninsula and about 30 minutes from Green Bay. We would return.
Nice city owned park next to the river. The roads and all sites are paved and level while being decently spaced. A lot of shade trees with a nice "feel". The Wi-Fi was good although there was no cable TV. We did have some road noise but it was OK. We would have rated it higher if it had had cable. We would look forward to staying here again.
The people were nice but the park is old and needs a lot of updating. It is rated big rig friendly but you need all your skills to get around and parked. They had just had some heavy rains but the gravel roads were in horrible shape. The sites were tight and close together. There were quite a lot of seasonals but for the most part they were clean. There just isn't a lot to choose from in the area. It is OK, just be prepared.
This is what a RV park should be. The sites were level, widely spaced , easy to get into, fine gravel with cement patios and first class hookups. The campground is well landscaped with shade trees in proper places to give shade and not be a hinderance. Some of the sites in the lower part where completely in the shade. They were electric and water only but very nice. The pool is awesome as well as the tent sites. The Wi-Fi was great where we were at. The only negative was the cable TV was limited and a bit snowy, but everything else was so good it didn't bother us. it doesn't get any better.
We weren't enamored by this park as others have been. It was OK but to us not above a 7. We were first put in a pull through next to real junky seasonal in a starker part of the park. We talked to them and we asked for a part of the park that looked nicer. It had smaller gravel and more grass. The sites there had the units back to back on a long pull through. It was a bit close and wasn't very private. On the plus side the site was level and easy to back into. The Wi-Fi worked very well although there was no cable. The park is mostly seasonal however there are plenty of sites open when we were there. There wouldn't be much for children to do.
We liked this park. The sites are a bit close together but not to bad. The park has some real nice tent spots and cabins in the woods that looked comfortable. The sites were level and the manager and help were awesome. No cable but we liked the park. It was packed for the weekend so it had a bit of noise but it was fine
We had a difficult time here partial due to Minnesota had shut down the state parks and it was crowded. The site we were assigned was so unlevel we couldn't park on it. We were given another site but had to cut short our stay by 4 days. The sites are crammed together and the sewer was on the wrong side. Part of the problem, we thought, was half the park was first come, first serve and the office didn't know when anyone would be leaving because the sites could re-up day to day for up to two weeks. Not well run in our minds. As a whole it is the only game in town so be prepared to be packed in like sardines with limited options.
We liked this park. It could use some better roads, but don't let that stop you. The site we had backed up to the woods and well spaced from the sides so it was very comfortable. Also the park was surounded by trees and gave it a warm feeling. The owners were nice and seemed to care about the park. The pool area was nice. The site were pretty level and the Wi-Fi worked very well. We had a slight problem with the cable TV but it was okay. We would definitely return.
This is a decent park. It didn't have cable but the Wi-Fi worked good. The pull through site was long and was fairly well spaced. They could have crammed more spaces in but they didn't. There were a number of seasonal sites but they were nice and were in a different part of the park. Gravel roads and gravel sites with grass between. It works well but it just wasn't a wow. We would stay here again.
There is an old and a new part to this park. We stayed in the new section and it was fabulous. Paved roads and cement sites with patio and a nice table. It was level and the hookups were good. The cable and Wi-Fi were excellent also. There was good room between the sites and the roads were wide. This is how a RV park should be designed. There were drive throughs but we had a back in site that was angled so it made backing in easy. We would stay here again.
This isn't a bad park, it just has a few issues. The park felt close and tight because the sites are packed pretty close together and not in a real organized fashion. There were a number of seasonal sites but they were all nice and clean. The park is in a combination industrial park and residential area. The sites are level and the hook ups were in good shape and well placed. The cable TV was snowy but the Wi-Fi worked well. If you don't mind the crowds, it isn't a bad place.
We really enjoyed this park. Our site was a pull through and was long enough to park the 5th wheel and truck with room to spare. In our area there were a number trees and it gave the park a comfortable feel. The roads were paved and the sites were gravel with paved patios. There are two sections and the other one doesn't have trees but it was nice also. It is a quiet, pleasant park but not a lot for children to do. The owners were very nice and the cable TV and Wi-Fi were great.
This was a nice park. A bit pricey, but that's KOA. We would have rated it an 8 if it had cable TV. The antenna brought in a number of channels though. The roads and sites are gravel with grass between the sites, fairly level and decently spaced. It rained hard for a couple of days and for the most part the water drained well. It is a bit out of Des Moines but not all that far. Wi-Fi was good. We would stay here again.
We have stayed here before and enjoyed our stay. There are a number of different type of sites. Ours was a pull through that was easy to get to and was of fair length. The space between the sites was decent also. The site and roads where dirt and gravel. It is convenient on and off the freeway. There are a number of trees so some shade would be had. Cable TV was good but Wi-Fi was slow. Used our Verizon air card instead. It isn't a 9 or 10, but workable.
We stayed one night here and found the park to have all we required. It is gravel roads and sites with grass between and the pull throughs were long and level. The sites were decently spaced. The cable TV and Wi-Fi worked well. It is easy on and off the freeway but far enough away that the noise was low. We would stay here again.
We choose this campground this time through Rawlins to compare to another one we stayed in before. We felt this was a great improvement, Yes, it is a large gravel spot but the sites were well spaced and the roads are very wide making getting around a snap. Everything worked well, the sites were level and the people friendly. The cable TV and Wi-Fi was good and our Verizon air card worked well. We will stay here again.
We have stayed in this park a few times before, as it is central to visiting relatives. There seemed to be a lot more seasonal units probably due to the freeway construction there. The spaces are paved, fairly spaced and the hook ups are well located. They seemed to be doing a number of repairs so the new management is trying to get things better. The biggest negative was our water smelled and tasted bad. The people were nice. It is about the only option in the area and we have had good experiences there before. Would have given an 8 or 9 if the water was better.
We were pleasantly surprised at this nice park. The site are pretty level and very long (80 Ft). The park is well laid out with the sites being angled and with the length you are not very close to anyone. Even the backin sites are such that the rear of your RV is not facing the rear of the RV behind you. No cable, and the wi-fi was weak but the Verizon air card was excellent. Gila Bend is a small town, but the park is nice. It is all gravel, but that is typical for this part of Arizona.
This was a bit of a difficult park to rate. The park is a bit old but has been well taken care off. The sites are a bit packed together on a small gravel and dirt base. The people were very nice. The sites were level, but the sewer hook up was way in the back requiring a 2nd hose. We had a motorhome right behind us and close. However the price was right, and they had something planned for every day and evening. We were there a week ,and they had live bands 3 of those nights. There is no TV, and the wifi didn't work at our site. But, if you are looking for a place to spend the winter, have your own TV system and want a lot of things to fill your time this is a great park. It is located by Saguaro National park West, Old Tucson, and the Desert Museum. Lots of hiking trails next to the park.
This was an excellent park. We also were led to our site by friendly people and it was a nice very wide and level site that was typical of the park. The cable TV worked good, the hookups were properly placed and work well. The gravel in our site was a bit large but it worked fine. The people were very friendly and helpful. We stayed two weeks an really enjoyed our stay. We would give it a 10 but the Wi-Fi was through another carrier and cost extra. However our Verizon air card worked fine. This would be a good place to spend the winter even though the wind blew most every day. We will return.
This is just an OK park for us. The sites are just dirt and sand. A good share of the sites share a hook up area which means you are side to side with another unit. You face one way and they face another. That means you share your front yard with another unit. We spent most of the time inside or sight seeing so it didn't bother us too much. The wind blows most of the time there so be prepared. The Wi-Fi didn't work except in the office but the cable was good. The hook up were good. We are not big fans of the Laughlin area so we will bypass on future trips
This is just a small park but very well kept. We used it for a base to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument as well as a place to chill and hang out. The owner is an RVer himself and he cares. The cable was excellent and the Wi-Fi was the best we had seen. The park is all small gravel but you have a concrete patio. The sites get raked after someone leaves. The site a fair spaced and the people are great. There isn't a whole lot in Ajo itself but we love the desert and the cactus. Some real good hiking also. Hookups are great. We will stay here again
This was just an OK park for us. Yuma didn't impress us and the drive to get to the park is not pretty. If you golf it would work for you. We were put in the golf course area which has narrow streets and is a bit difficult to back into due to that. The sewer hookup was way behind the trailer and on the wrong side. Be sure and have a long extension or they can sell you one at the office. The cable was OK but we used our Verizon card for Wi-Fi. We were happy to leave. I don't think we would return.
This is a very nice park. The site we had was double concrete so the 5th wheel and patio was nice and clean. The space between sites is excellent. The roads are all paved and the facilities are excellent. The Wi-Fi came and went as well as the Verizon card we have but it was manageable. The cable was great also. The hookups were well located and first rate. They sell lots here so they offer the best. It was a great value as they had a 20% discount while we were there. We will stay there again
This is a very nice campground. The check in area is large and the process is efficient. The sites are a decent amount of space between and the hookups are well placed. It isn't very far off the freeway so it is easy to find. It was large enough and far enough away from the freeway that the noise level was OK. The cable was nice but we used our Verizon card for internet so we didn't try the Wi-Fi. We will return.
This was for us just a place to spend a night. The sites and roads are dirt and very close together. On the positive side, the people were friendly, the sites were level and the cable TV was excellent. They have HBO and Cinemax included. We would return for a night's stopover again.
This is a good place to stop on our drive through Kansas. There are not a lot to chose from in this part of Kansas, but this is a nice one. It isn't super pretty but it is clean, level and well taken care of. The WiFi and cable TV were very good. The people were very nice and they have an ice cream social each evening. We would return.
This is a very nice park. The sites are paved and level with a nice paved patio. The sites are tiered but very easy to get into and long enough for the longest rig. The hookups were very top notch and the WiFi and cable TV were great. It is easy off and easy on the freeway but far enough not to be noisy. We wish there were more parks like this one.
This is a nice enough park which would be good for families. The Park is mostly seasonals but all were clean and in good shape. The sites were level on a cement pad with good space in between. The cable TV was snowy so we went to the antenna and the reception was great, of course not as many channels. The WiFi was good most of the time, but during the weekend it slowed down. The people were friendly. There was a tremendous amount of golf carts, which made it noisy and busy during the weekend. You share the water hook up with the neighbor so bring a long hose. We would return.
This is a very clean and well laid out park. We were escorted to our site and they "helped" us position our rig on the site. The were only 8 TV channels and the WiFi didn't work well. The Verizon signal was good for the air card. They like their park and are prideful of it. Almost too prideful. I had trouble with the TV signal and asked for help. The person who came had a bit of an attitude. Once we got the problem solved I noticed that it was grainy but we put up with it as we were leaving in the morning. Don't get us wrong, this is a nice clean park. The sites are level, long enough and well laid out. We would stay here again.
Just an ok park for a night's stay. The sites were gravel with a bit of grass and fairly close together. We were put in with some of the seasonal sites which weren't all that nice. The site was those side by sides with another outfit next to you, facing the other way and sharing the hookups. There were some other sites that were better. I should have asked for a 50 amp site because they were the nicer ones. It is an in-town park in an industrial area. It had poor signage to find the entrance but was easy on and of the freeway.
We like this park. We were driven around to pick out our site. They are level and long enough for our 35' 5th wheel and our truck. The park has a well kept look to it and is laid out well. There is a fair amount of space between sites. There are a few season sites but all of them were nice and clean. We would stay here again.
This is a destination park. It is off the freeway a number of miles, so go to spend some time. A good number of sites are down a steep hill but it is alright getting out, as you go out another road. Our site was in the trees, had a cement patio and sloped a bit front to rear. But it was not really a problem. The sites are in a mixed arraignment so some have good separation. There were a lot of seasonal campers but they were in good shape. It was quite damp at our site so we got the impression it could get wet in a hurry. Our site was very shaded and would be nice in the hot days. The swimming pool looked large and nice although we didn't go in. We like the park but we wouldn't rave on it as past reviewers have. We would return.
OK park for an overnight. Cable TV was 4 channels and grainy. WiFi wasn't too good. The site was terraced, long and fairly level, although the one we were given has that side by side service with another unit which we do not care for. The people were nice in the office. It has a lot of seasonal sites, most of which were ok. Easy off and on from the freeway. It just didn't have the feel of a well kept park.
We stayed in the upper section which didn't have much shade. The sites below by the river have alot of shade but were older and not as large. Could have a draining problem there. We enjoyed the upper section. The site are gravel but long and pretty level. The cable TV was good but no free WiFi. Our Verizon card worked well though. The hookups were in good working order and well located. Most of all, the people were very friendly. They met us as we pulled in and guided us to our site. We checked in later. Everything was in excellent shape, clean and you could tell that everyone cared about their park. We would stay again.
This is a nice enough park. It is large and most were seasonal. Most all of the seasonal were well taken care of and clean. The roads and site are gravel and level. The cable TV was good but the WiFi was not free but our Verizon card worked well enough. Everything was clean and seemed to be well taken care of. It is a bit off the freeway and you have to go through the town, but it wasn't terrible. The pull through site we had was very long and the distance between sites was nice. We would stay here again.
We gave this an 8 instead of a 7 due to it's location. It is very convenient to visiting DC. It is an older park and the sites are somewhat short. But it was doable for our 35' 5th wheel. Most are not real level front to rear but again, doable. The WiFi worked great for us and we didn't have any power problems like some before us. The park wasn't full however. It was real quiet and pleasant. The sites are all paved and wide enough to park your vehicle next to your unit. The sites are decently wide apart. The roads are a little tight but for us it was fine. Again the ease to DC overcame any shortcomings. We would return.
Nice quiet small park on a nice looking golf course. We enjoyed our stay here. The site was pretty level although they are fairly close. The sites and streets are paved. Not much for children to do but for us that made it a quiet place to rest for a few days. No laundry facilities, etc. We would recommend it for this area.
This is a difficult campground to rate for us. We loved the tall pine trees and the "feel" of the park. The sites were level and most were very shaded which is great in the hot summer. The negatives were the roads are a little tight but not too bad. The roads are paved but the sites are gravel and dirt. The sewer connections were too high requiring the need to "work" the sewer hose. Not much for children to do ie: no swimming pool. There is no cable or Wi-Fi. It is close to Frankenmuth and convienet to the freeway. Despite the negatives we would stay again for a few days for the feel and quietness.
This is a nice park. The roads and sites are paved and the areas are kept clean. The cable TV was good and the WiFi was excellent also. The sites were pretty level and the hookups were in good shape and well located. We enjoyed our stay here and used it for a jumping off place to Mackinaw Island and to areas South as well. There is a lot to see in this area. The negatives were that the sites were a bit close together and the interior roads are a bit tight but navagable. The price seemed a bit high to us also.
Wow, it doesn't get any better than this. This is at the top of our list. The check in people were extremely helpful. They really helped us with info and suggestions for our stay in the area. The sites are level, wide and very easy to back into. The landscaping was just beautiful. They are selling sites but there is a section for 5th wheels. The cable and Wi-Fi worked great. The hook ups were first class. We extended our stay to take in all the sites around the area and because we enjoyed the park so much. Not as pricey as you think. Most of the nicer parks are in this price range and do not give as much for your money as this one does.
Very nice park. Has paved roads and sites. They were level and fairly wide. We had a pull through site and it was long enough to park our 35' 5th wheel and our truck. The hookups were good and in excellent positions. It was a quiet and well done park. If you have children there isn't a lot for them to do. The casino was just a short walk and the food was excellent. Excellent value.
We really enjoyed this park. The sites are level and wide with patios and a parking place for your vehicle. Nice wide interior roads. It was well thought out when designed. The cable and Wi-Fi were good. It is a couple of miles outside of Muskegon but not too far to be an annoyance. The check in people were friendly also. Nothing to dislike about this park.
This is a very nice park. Although all the sites are back in there is plenty of room to do so. There is a lot of room between site and a very large amount of room to the rear of the sites. It is a very well designed park. We were assigned a site in a new section were probably the first there. There were a couple of problems, power and water, but they were quickly taken care of. The park seems to be fairly new so there wasn't any shade yet but we loved the park. All the sites were cement and very wide and deep. A class place. The only reason we didn't give it a 10 was there isn't any cable TV. With all the expense given to the park, swimming pool etc it seemed odd.
This park is located in the trees and very shady. The sites and roads are gravel and level. I thought we would have a problem pulling out of our site with our 35 ft fifth wheel but we didn't. The Wi-Fi and cable work well and we enjoyed our 4 day stay. The park is just out of South Bend and there was plenty to see and do. It was a quiet nice place to stay. The only negative was the sewer connection was too high and didn't have a threaded base so a rubber ring was required. That meant having to "work" the sewer hose when dumping. We would stay again.
This is a bit off the freeway and follow the camping signs as there is a low overpass if you don't. There people were very friendly and we enjoyed our night there. The sites are level with trees and shade available. It is quiet, decent place to stay. The roads and sites are dirt and gravel but easy to navigate.
The sites here were all paved as well as the roads. It is a nice park for the family as it has a park nearby. It is also close to a casino. There seemed to be a lot of RVs that were staying for an extended time but everything was nice and neat. It had some shade trees and a lot of grass. We weren't able to get a pull thru so we were assigned a back in site that was located in a circle. The angle of the back in made it easy to back in however getting around the circle with the trucks that were parked there was very tight. We had to go up over the curb coming and going. We felt we were given a site that was more meant for smaller rigs. There wasn't any cable. We would stay again but make reservations earlier for a pull thru site.
This park had a lot of shade trees and multiple levels so it has some good "personality". It was easy to drive around and easy to park. Most of the sites looked to be pretty level with fair room between them. There were a number of seasonal sites but all were clean and nice. The laundry was very clean. The people were friendly and helpful. The hookups were in good position and worked well. We would return.
This is a nice park. The road are gravel and dirt but easy to get around in. The sites are mostly pull thru and of sufficient length and width. There were some shade trees and grass. It was a little wet in spots but they had a huge thunderstorm the night before. Everything worked well. It just doesn't have a wow factor but still a nice place.
This is a nice enough campground. We only stayed one night so we didn't look at any of the facilities. It was clean but a bit close to the freeway. The noise was not terrible but it was there. The sewer hook up was one we had not encountered before. It didn't have threads to screw the water hose on. It looked like you just would push the hose down or needed a expandable type. The power tower was to far forward in the drive through. We had to pull forward in the site and park behind the fifth wheel. The cable TV was good as well as the Wi-Fi. It was fairly level. We would stay there again
This is a decent park because of the area. It is a large grass area with dirt roads into and around the park. The gentleman who checked us in, was nice but be aware he only takes cash. The WiFi worked great but he told me when we checked in that the cable TV was not working. Just understand there are not a lot of choices in this area.
This was our third time staying here. It is easy access to the freeway and it is a nice park. The staff is friendly and helpful. The sites are paved and level but a bit to close. Each time we have been there though they leave a space on each side which is nice. The sites are not overly long so we had to park sideways to the site but it wasn't a problem. There is grass between the sites and a few shade trees. There are a number of full timers there but every one was neat and nice. The cable quality was poor and we didn't use the Wi-Fi. We will stay there again.
This is a nice KOA. The site were level and long enough. The space between the sites was generous. It is well located just off highway 17 with good access to stores etc. It is in the trees so it was shady and nice. All the hookups were located well and the cable and Wi-Fi were good. The site are mostly sand with some grass. We would stay here again.
We choose a cement pad which we really enjoyed and would recommend. We were on the fourth row from the beach and it was very nice. It was level, the hookups were very well located and there was good room between the sites with grass. The interior roads are a bit narrow which is about the only negative we can say. Although we didn't use many of the facilities there was a cafe, gift store and RV stores etc. It was easy in and easy out to route 17. The cable and Wi-Fi worked well. We would certainly stay here again.
This campground is clean and nice. It was level and all of the hookups were good. The laundry was clean, and the owners were friendly. The layout is a little different as the sites are joint on the hookup side so you would be near your neighbors. This does give you a large area from your front door with a cement patio, though. It wasn't very full so we had no one next to us, but it is just different. All the sites look over to a small lake that was clean. The cable was new but snowy, and the owners were getting the cable company in to check it out. The biggest downside would be that it is out in the country and 5 to 8 miles from gas and groceries. The Outer Banks and Kitty Hawk are about 40 miles. Of course it was very quiet.
This is a nice campground. We would give this a much higher rating when they get more things built. It is a newer campground and they are not finished yet. There wasn't a laundry and the cable was snowy but the park is laid out nice with lots of room to maneuver and park. Most of the sites are pull through and some are paved. The paved sites do not have cable as of yet. A pool and clubhouse are planned. It is very convenient to I-95 but not too close for noise to be a problem.
This is one of the very best parks we have ever stayed in. It is a bit expensive but with all the things you get it is an excellent value. All the sites are paved and have a table with umbrella, and chairs. Some of them have firepits. The hookups are real good and situated well. The washer and dryers are FREE. The cable has 4 HBO channels. There are a number of swimming pools, a cafe, horseback riding, etc. and great grounds. It is a resort destination with many, many things to do in a beautiful setting. We ended up extending our stay 5 days. The sites are not all that level because they want good drainage but don't let that stop you.
Nice enough park that is large and spread out with a little bit of everything. It had double wides, park models and 3 or 4 sections for RVs. It is nicely laid out so every type is kept together. All the permanent and seasonals were VERY clean. We were in a newer section which didn't any trees but was nice. The site was on a gentle hill and long enough the that 5th wheel was on a level section. There was a new pool and store in our area. They seem to be expanding with a number of new things planned. Everyone was very helpful. We would stay there again.
This is a good park for a stop over or for just relaxing. It isn't large but is nice. The sites are fairly level and not to close together. It is next to a water park but up the hill and far enough away that noise shouldn't be a problem. The water park was closed when we were there so we are guessing about the noise. There isn't much else there so it would be a tough if you needed entertainment for the children. We would stay again on a short stay.
This is a better than average KOA. The sites were fairly level and had good space between outfits. We stayed there over Labor Day and the park was full. They had a fire truck for the kids to ride on. The swimming is in a pond but it looked clean. There were a few seasonals there but they were in a different area and very clean. Shopping is close and it isn't all that far to downtown Cleveland. We liked it and would stay again. The negative were no cable an a bit dusty
This is a very nice park. The site we had was perfectly level and the rest looked that way also. The space between the sites was plentiful. The sites are gravel and deep. We only got to stay two days but really enjoyed the park. The people were very nice and friendly. It has pull throughs and back in spaces as well as some very nice looking cabins, and tent sites. We would go out of our way to return again.
This is a nice enough park and well located for visiting Niagara Falls. It had a lot for children to do. The roads and sites were level and okay but the park just kind of bland. There weren't any trees to speak of and the sites were somewhat close together. Everyone was nice but we didn't warm to the park. The best thing is the location to Niagara Falls and we would stay here again if we were visiting the area. There is no cable TV.
This is a well laid out park. It seemed to have everything we required. We didn't use the Wi-Fi as we found none of them seem to work very well. All the sites looked level, except one and all are paved and very well spaced apart. It was easy to get into and get around in. About the only negative was that the back-in sites weren't deep enough to park our 35' fifth wheel and pull our vehicle in straight: a very small matter. We enjoyed our stay and will return.
We stayed here only one night as we had a time schedule. It was a nice enough park especially if you had a boat. It is right on the Mohawk river with a lot of docking space. It is in the trees and shady most of the time. It had rained before we got there and there was some muddy spots. The trees are tall and you don't feel like you are in jail but you wouldn't see a lot of the sun. The layout of the park was such that most of the back in sites were around the edge of a circle and the back ends were close. We didn't have sewer as we were just passing through. We would stay again but as we do not have a boat we wouldn't stay long
This is a small and quiet park. They spaces are paved, level and decently spaced. They are canted in such a way that it makes it more private. All the hook ups are well placed and the Wi-Fi is excellent. The owner is a former computer worker. There aren't that many pull thrus and the roads weren't real wide but all were manageable. There were some seasonals but they were well kept. This park wouldn't work all that well for families looking for things to do, but if you want a quiet place to relax this is a good spot. We spent a week and went into Boston. The train stations are not that far. We also went to Lexington and Concord.
This campground offers both sunny sites and shady sites. It was well kept up and the people were very friendly. It has both pull thru and back in sites for larger rigs. There are some sites that back up to a river although the river was almost nonexistent while we were there and there were some odors. The site we stayed in was away from the river and we had no smell. We stayed in the sunny large rig section. The shady sites were nice without being too cozy. They have plenty to offer. A paper every morning was an enjoyable touch. It is just a few miles to Boothbay. We would enjoy staying here again.
