This campground went out of their way to spot our party of 4 large rigs, close together. We stay here often when in this part of Colorado, and this is the first time we have had to wait for a Moose to clear our site. What a great treat.
The reason for the low rating is the unlevel spot and it's hard to get level and reach the sewer outlet. The staff went out of the way to make you feel that this is the place to be. Park is located right next to Rocky Mountain National Park. We will return.
The sites are very close and tight . If you need wide roads and lots of space this is not your place. Had large 5-wheel next to us and our slide outs were very close. We may not return, but the staff was friendly and more than helpful. The reason for low rating is close space and sewer drops.
The new owners are great will go out of their way to make your stay great; have a problem just ask. We had a pull through with double slide out . Walked the whole campground and it is spotless, some great back-ins for the summer. We will return.
This is the best campground in the state of New Mexico. We use this as a home base for the southern part of New Mexico and have been a repeat camper here for over 8 years have check all campgrounds that is in this area and this is the best one for this area. Owner and staff are the best and go out of the way to make you feel that this is your home. Tall trees and a great lawn trimming. it looked like a branch would touch are slide out and was cut back, no question ask.
We stopped here for the Christmas holiday to see family and friends. What a great park, we stop here every time we come to this area. Owners had a New Mexico style Christmas Eve supper for every one in the park, had luminaries all over the park that glowed all night, what a treat. We stay at this park every time we travel through the Las Cruces area. This is the best and nicest park for the money in this area. It has a grocery store that is less than one block away, and some of the best restaurants with in walking. Will stay here again.
This is one of our parks that we stop at every time we come through Las Cruces. The only thing that we would like to see is paved streets but with high price of oil don't plan on seeing that the next time through .. Sure wish that a lot of our R.V. buddies would drive the 5 mph in this park as the owners ask . Will come back the next time we come to Las Cruces.
We stayed in the over flow and the owners will go out of their way to do anything to help. Just ask and they know everything about the area and where to go. If you want wine and dine this is not your place but if you need a stopping spot in this area this is it. We will return .
Great view of the Bay, to bad that the sewer hookups are spotted wrong. If you want to use sewer hookup, go into spots the wrong way and run your water and electric under your coach to off side. This is the best place in the area for FRESH seafood. The owner is a lobster fisherman, and the camp worker knows how to cook. All the locals eat here. Needed blocks to get level jacks to level our RV unit.
The spots are very unlevel, bring a lot of leveling blocks, the staff is great, too bad the owner does not do just a small amount of work on the sites !!! IF you use "STREET and TRIPS" it will take you to the wrong campground.
This is a great little campground some sights are a little tight but had no problem with 36 ft. motorhome with double slides. Owners are working real hard to be a top notch campground. Some rough full timers, if you want a resort this is not your place but a place to shut down and go to Atlantic City and PHly. Will return and use this as a holding spot for the Cape Ferry.
This park is a great place to use to see all the local attraction and even Baltimore. However they DO NOT HAVE BATHROOMS. There is also no play ground if you need a place for the kids. If you need a activity planner this is not your place. This is a great place to park as a home base to explore the local area. The price is right, nothing fancy: just good water, electricity, sewer and real large shade trees. We will come back.
The road is full of pot holes and real rough. Sites are tight and slide outs close to fire pits, some campers are running gray water out on the main road coming into the park. They accept only cash. Check if you live nearby. This park caters mostly to seasonals or maybe even people that live here all of the time. Lots of older, junky looking RVs. Will not come back !!! As a full timer it will be best to stay on the side of road or Casino parking lot.
Have never rated a CG a 10 but this gets close,, has the best wi-fi free of any place we have been and as a full timer have seen a few. A lot of CG need to take notes on this one for local info. the owner goes way out of way to make you feel like this is the place to be,, is small and some spots are tight to get in -- but has LOTS of shade and grass. Complete quit at night. The restrooms are spotless. This place is for the people that do not need anything but a great book to read and total relaxation. We use this CG for Boston, Salem , Mass and South N.Hamp. area.
What a Great Place ! This park has lived up to every thing that we have been told by all our friends that have been here before. We are going to mark this in our travel book as the place to come back to in this area. We love that they have park rules and everyone knows the rules, no ? ask. This park has a great friendly , home , type feeling and a stranger is not a stranger very long here. Too bad we have to travel over 3000 miles to get here.
We stop at this great RV park every time we come through Las Cruces, I have never rated a park with a 10 rating but this park is getting to be very close in all ways, and as a full timer have seen some that have been rated a 10 and none where as nice as this Park.
This is a great place with large tree,s and grass I have never had to wait for a bathroom even when the park is full or when 2 are shut down, if any one know,s where there is a cleaner and nicer RV park in Southern New Mexico let us know and the owners will do anything to make your stay great, will be back next time in the area, We are full timers and you will not find many parks any better have paid over $40.00 a nite for a lot less.
We have been coming to this RV Park for the past 4 years and will keep coming back. After checking all other parks in Las Cruces this one is the best hands down. The owners will do every thing posible to make your stay the best if you stay a night or a week we are all ways welcome, and love the shade trees and grass.
