This is an absolutely beautiful RV park. The backup hosts were very friendly and helpful. It has a lovely pool, but Sept is cool, so it was already cleaned up and closed for the season. They have a building where family/friends can meet to cook and enjoy a meal together. Office/store provided RV supplies, souvenirs (the biggest marshmallows I have ever seen - 3 times the size of normal ones - my grandsons loved them), playground, super clean bathrooms/showers, and laundry. If you don't have a rig they even have 5 cabins. Beautiful place for walks to enjoy the great outdoors and gorgeous mountains. Definitely a place to stay again.
In the 27 years that we have been camping, we have never been in such a terrible campground. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. We would never have used them. For some reason the spot we were in and the ones around us did not have water, even though the connections were there. We went to bed, got up and left at 8:15 am in the morning. Just wanted out of there. We noticed that there were mostly workmen in the campground, but that is no excuse for the dirty conditions. We could not find another campground and that is the only reason that we ended up staying there. My husband was not well and we needed to stop and rest. Even the office was in a horrible condition. And to charge $29 just to park with no facilities and being so disgusting is terrible.
