Sites are long enough to stay hooked up for overnight stays. There are big shade trees and grass between the sites. Friendly staff. This is our second visit here, and we'll continue to stay when in the area.
The rate stated is for a weekend. Sites are tight. The wi-fi was very weak, even though we were just on the second row from the office. We needed help with the dump site, and someone was there immediately to help out. It's a busy place with lots going on. We'll stay here in the future when in the area.
We love this park! We've stayed here several times, and even though there is some freeway noise, it never bothered us at all. Sites are paved, grass is trimmed, shade trees are between sites, and there's lots of room.
This was our second visit to this park. The sites are large and private with flowering hedges between each one. The staff was very friendly, and wi-fi worked well. They have a cute, little store. Everything was clean and neat. We'll be going back when in the area.
We can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the owners and staff were. (They trimmed tree limbs so they wouldn't hit the roof, and rearranged things for us because we needed to stay longer). It's a wooded park with nice big sites, easy access in and out. The laundry room was one of the cleanest we've used. We will definitely stay here again.
This park is wonderful, wooded, and many sites border the Tetsa River. It has no hook-ups, so it is for dry camping. The camp hosts are very friendly and helpful. These are back-in sites and we did find one long enough for our 34 ft. 5th wheel. It took a bit of maneuvering to back in, but we had plenty of room and a large site. It's a lovely setting, quiet and peaceful. We stay here on all our trips through Canada.
We love this wooded campground. Our site was huge, more than enough room for our 34 foot 5th wheel. It was one of 2 that are right on the creek. There are 2 or 3 pull-through sites that would have worked for us, too. We stay in this campground on every trip through the Yukon. We didn't use the pit toilets, but others we were with reported that they were clean.
Even though it's a gravel lot, without grass or trees, it is within walking distance to the waterfront, shopping and restaurants. Of the others here in Valdez, we feel this is the best one and are happy with our pull-in site. Sites are close together and very open. We stayed 3 days and would stay here again.
This is a small, but very lovely park with a nice layout, large trees, ferns, and bushes around every campsite. Out site was nice and level and a little higher, so we weren't stepping out in puddles, since we came at a very rainy time of year. There's a 200 yd path to the beach, which includes some steep stairs, but very sturdy and easy to navigate and the view of Willapa Bay is worth taking the stairs! We were greeted with a magnificent sunset the first night we were there. We look forward to coming back. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
We stayed here based on the other reviews people had written, but when we got here we were amazed that anyone could say this was in any way acceptable. Not a blade of grass, tree, bush or anything. The "best" site, which we requested, was so unlevel it was hard to get our trailer set up. Our site is so close to the next one, we could almost reach out our window and touch it. This is the most expensive KOA we've stayed in on this trip, and it is by far the least desirable. We definitely won't be staying again.
Very lovely small campground. It's far enough off the highway that there was very little traffic noise. Spacious sites, well cared for grounds, very friendly and helpful owner. We stayed just one night and would definitely stay there again.
Our section was a bit cramped with little room between trailers, but the trees and grounds were nice. The dump was uphill and hard to drain, but other sites were better. The people in the office were especially friendly and helpful. We stayed 10 days, and we would stay here again.
