Undoubtedly one of the finest resorts in West Central Florida, this campground is unfortunately located next to several Concrete Plants. The wind blows concrete dust all over the park, making residents sick. Also, the number of sites has greatly outgrown the size of the facility - not all residents can get into the clubhouse at once for weekly meeting; pool only holds 35, etc. Manager has a mercurial personality - makes your stay less than it could be.
Clean, extremely quiet park. Transient type: we use it coming and going on our annual trek to and from Florida. Excellent and accommodating management. Just what one needs after 10 to 12 hours on Rte. 95. Tacky highway signs give way to a wonderful camping experience.
No concrete pads. Pray for no rain, as this park floods bad! Too many dirty trees. Very old time camping experience. Too far from shopping, doctors, etc. - in the middle of nowhere. Surrounding area seedy. Old park, mostly old park models which have not been kept up. Nice pool.
