This is a nice campground. Most of the sites had shrubs separating them from the next one. We saw a lot of wildlife. We were disappointed because the water was so high there was no beach to swim at but I'm sure it would be lower later in the summer. We cut our visit short but would visit again.
This park is very nice. Most of the sites are spacious. The bathrooms and showers were kept very clean. The only bad thing about our stay was that the swimming pool was shut down for repair and it was near 100 degrees.
The campground itself isn't too bad, the sites are a little close together. We enjoyed walking along the river also. The method of reserving a site is very odd. I called repeatedly and left a message but never received a return call to confirm. I finally reached a person and was able to confirm my reservation. When we arrived there was no one in the office so just drove around and found our name on a site. Someone came around later and collected our money. The bathrooms were filthy and were not cleaned for the 2 days we were there. We did not want to use them.
