We stayed here 8 days. Our first day was problematic. We were assigned a spot that was uneven and over run with red ants. I went up to the office to ask for another location and ended up paying an extra $40 to move to a site with a concrete pad. The site was very large. It also was covered with red ants, and I asked several times for them to spray the area, but ended up buying spray and taking care of it myself. They have many planned activities in this park and there is a Publix grocery story across the street.
This is the best RV Resort we have visited. We stayed in space 79 with a full view of the water. The people were very friendly and welcoming. The amenities are wonderful, and it is pet friendly. There are many restaurants close by. We stayed here three nights, and it was wonderful. It is expensive, but we think it was worth it.
The staff were very welcoming and the check in was very quick. Staff guided us to the site. This is a great location right on the water. Very friendly people from all over the country. We had dinner at the on-site restaurant (BBQ). They had live music which was great. The weather was chilly so we did not use the pool, but it looked great. We wanted to stay here much longer and will go back. They have a shuttle that goes a couple of times a day to the French Quarter.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The park has a significant amount of full timers that are working in the area. It is walking distance to a WalMart Supercenter. This is not a fancy park but the staff are so warm and welcoming we liked staying here for the night. They have a large pet area, but it had rained for several days, and much of it was underwater at the time.
We arrived after dark to the resort. If you stay here try to arrive during the day light. It is located downtown, and it is much easier to find in the daylight. We loved this resort. The people are very friendly. We talked to many people who were repeat visitors. There is a nice path to the River Walk and the city bus stops close by. The sites are large and the on-site store is very well stocked. There is a Mexican restaurant directly across the street that is fantastic. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Registration was very easy, very nice staff member at the front desk. The park itself is difficult to find and located in an industrial area off the freeway interchange. You hear train and freeway noise. We only stayed one night, but we would not stay here long-term due to the noise.
Very nice, clean park. We stayed only one night, but the park was fairly full and seemed to have many activities. It is walking distance to Safeway. It is a little noisy since it is close to a hospital. We heard helicopters land a couple of times during the night, and it does get train noise. Office staff was very friendly.
