All concrete park. Sites are double wide to park your vehicle next to the unit. Laundry is very clean and has new Maytag front loaders. Restrooms only have one shower. It cost $1 for 4 minutes of water. More time is 25 cents per minute. This was the only park in our last 50 stops that charges for showers. WiFi is very good. However, I used my Sprint mobile broadband which was excellent. We do enjoy this park.
When we got to the campground there were only a few people there. More came closer to the weekend. Restrooms & laundry are very clean. They have recently built a new meeting center for both local meetings or club meetings. It is very nice. Grounds are well kept. There was not as much wind from the ocean as being here in the summer. We always enjoy out stay here.
Nice clean park. All the roads and sites in the park are gravel on dirt. There was a lot of mud in the park when we were there. Very few sites will you be able to use satellite. Only about 10 sites have sewer hookup. Wi-Fi is good. This park is very good for families with children. There are many things for children to do at this park. Not the best for retired. Prices are high for what you get.
Park is old. Sites are very narrow and short. I had to park on the grass on one side in order to get the push outs open on the connection side of the RV. Ground was very soft. Sunk in 4" when the RV and truck went on the grass. Every site had tire marks in the soft ground getting into or out of the site. The restrooms in the office were very clean, but NO HOT WATER for showers. The water in the laundry also was not hot. Restrooms in the back of the park were closed for the season. They were getting ready for a golf tournament on Sunday. They put us in a site that we could not used our satellite even though we requested a site so we could. They had no idea what sites could or could not receive satellite. A one night stop could be OK. Will not be back here.
Park is behind the golf course. Roads are asphalt. Sites are concrete but narrow. There is a strip of grass between sites. There cable connects are not ready as of yet. Showers had no lock of the door. They were old but clean. They come by in the AM to pickup any garbage. I5 is very close and you do hear the road noise.
Very well maintained park in an upscale neighbor. Go east from Hwy 99. When you see Pheasant Run Gold Club entrance, get in the right hand turn lane. 100 yards later you see the yellow banner on the light pole with RV on it. Turn in there. Gated Park. Concrete pads with a hedge between sites. Pet area is at the back right corner of the park. Grass in the area was high. You go out of a gate by pet area to the golf course. Golf course is very nice. Several gated communities around the course. We were at the back left corner of the park and the Wi-Fi was very good. Sprint mobile broadband was in roaming. Satellite TV worked well. We enjoyed our stay, and will be returning on our trip back from So. Cal next year. Weekly rate was $240 + tax.
Small park in a marina area separated by a grassy ares. 13 sites on one side and 19 sites on the entrance side. Gated Entrance that closes at night. Sites are small in width. There is a low hedge separating each site. With my push outs were touching the hedge on one side, we had about 3 feet from our steps to the hedge. No cable TV because of the industrial area. Satellite worked well. Sprint mobile broadband was in roaming. WiFi worked fine. Had two washers and dryers for the park and marina. One dryer was out of order (was not heating). Park is located right along the river. The weekend we were here, a bass tournament was going on. Fishermen (10 boats) were going out between 4:30 and 5 AM. Our first time here. We enjoyed the area. Price reflects the weekly rate.
Very old mobile home park. The driveway and spaces are asphalt. Spaces are very narrow. There are really only 4 spaces for over nighters. All the rest are permanent residents. Poorly maintained. The restroom building is made of cinder blocks. What looks like 3 coats of paint is peeling off. 3 toilets and showers for men and women. No locks on any of the toilet or shower doors. Restrooms require a key provided by the management. Spider webs everywhere around all the exterior lights. Laundry has 2 older front load washers and 2 top load washers. There is one large stainless steel commercial washer ($4 per load) 3 commercial dryers (25 cents for 10 minutes of drying time). Dust, lint and cobwebs everywhere. The dumpster is on one side of the park and smelled very bad. It was surrounded by dog waste. On the other side of the park is a field with 2 horses in. Very little grass and lots of horse manure. Did not try WiFi. My Sprint Mobile Broadband worked well as did the Direct TV. Not a place that I will stop again.
No discounts for RV associations. Small Park. Roads to the park are narrow. We had reserved one of the 4 sites that have sewer hookup. It was in the trees that blocked our Satellite antenna. We moved to another site to be able to us the satellite. Their Wi-Fi worked very well. Sprint Mobile Broadband was in roaming area. The sites are narrow. We could only stay 4 days because they said the park was booked for the Labor day weekend. I found out later, that people book this park for the various holidays 1 or 2 years in advance. During our stay the park was mostly empty. Roads and sites are gravel or dirt. Only 2 restrooms by the lake. One for men and one for women. One toilet and one shower in each. Shower was 3'X 3' as well as the dressing area, so not much space to change. Shower's cost 25 cents for about 3 minutes. With only 4 sites with sewer, you must dump as you go out. If someone is dumping, there is no room for someone else to come in or go out. There is noise from Highway 101 which is just across the lake. So you can hear some road noise. Sandy beach area for swimmers. Boat launch and dock on one side of park for fisherman. They do have kayaks or pontoon boats for rent.
Weekly rate is reflected. Older park with lots of redwood trees. Quiet. We stayed here 2 years ago. Sites are narrow. We got a site in the back of the park to be able to use our satellite dish. The back of the park is mostly those staying 6 months are longer. There were 5 park models there. satellite worked fine as well as the mobile broadband. Did not use the WiFi. Restroom building was painted on outside, and had new laundry machines. $2.50 to wash and $2 to dry. Restrooms had some paint pealing off, and the corners of the floor were not clean. It is located in the center of the park. Expect to walk a long way if you want to use them. No street lights in the back half of park. Close to city to see the sites.
Weekly rate including tax reflected. Located just off Hwy 101 outside the city. Very clean cared for park. Sites are level asphalt and spaced apart with grass. 3 different restrooms sites: 2 of them had laundry facilities and all were very clean. Pool area is shared with the Quality Inn motel next door. There is a Mexican restaurant at the park entrance, and a small family restaurant, open 24 hours around the corner. We enjoyed our stay.
We were here for a week. Rate is reflective. Owner is very helpful. The road from the front to the back of the park is asphalt and ends at a cell phone tower. The other roads are gravel. Spaces 14 through 30 are for those passing through. The others are occupied by permanent residents. The owners are expanding the park by adding 12 more spaces. They are to be ready by August 15, 2010. There are 4 restrooms in one building at the back of the park. They are small and contain a shower, toilet and sink. One of the restrooms was out of order during our stay. There is a large grass area in the middle of the park to walk pets. The laundry is toward the front of the park and has 6 washers/dryers. Parks is about 2 miles south of town. We enjoyed our stay.
We spent a week here. Rate is reflective. The park is entirely concrete. Very wide isles to go down to the sites. Sites have a 3' wide landscaped space where the connections are. Entrance gate has a code to allow entrance. There is an exit gate that opens as you approach. Small rec roon with a pool table, lounge chairs and large TV. Coffee is always on. Restrooms were very clean. (Men's has 1 toilet & 4 showers.) Laundry has only 2 washers and dryers. There are 22 full timers living here. Also there are about 40 large indoor storage units connected with the park. Close to shopping. It was very windy in the afternoons. Only one small area (about 8' by 20') for your pet just on the back side of the park that is fenced in. They do supply bags to pick up. We enjoyed our stay.
We were here for a week. Rate was reflective. Asphalt roads in park. Lots of grass in the center of the park. Very well cared for park. Normally they have a breakfast on Saturday mornings. However, for July 4 the owners were out of town and there was no breakfast. Next to I-58 so there is some road noise, especially on one side of the park. Only 2 restrooms with showers at the entrance to the park, so you have to walk a ways to get to them. Laundry has 4 machines. They take quarters. However the park does not own the machines (maintained by an outside company) and the office does not carry extra quarters. At our site our Satellite TV and our mobile broadband for the laptop worked well. At some sites you would not be able to use Satellite because of the trees.
This is an older park with mostly monthly residents. Only had about 5 sites for daily use. Only 4 pull through sites, with 3 occupied by monthlies. Most sites are level asphalt. Park is split in 2 parts with a stream between. There are showers and laundry units on both halves. Owners are very friendly and helpful in setting up and giving directions to local attractions. Sewers have multiple connections between sites. Ours was 20 feet away. Owners have lots of hard pipe to help with the connections. Our Direct TV satellite and mobile broadband worked well. There have a store at the office. Complaint: Restrooms were out of hand soap. Asked to fill. They put in a bottle with antibacterial soap, but it was missing the next day. We were here for a week and the rate is reflected.
Very clean, quiet park close to the freeway. The semi permanent residents are at the front end of the park. Park is build on a hillside. Roads are asphalt and sites are level concrete. Small store in the office with supplies and ice. There is a large meeting room. You enter the swimming pool through the restrooms. Restrooms were very clean all the time. Laundry room is usually full on Sunday mornings. They do have a large, grassed pet area behind the office. The rest of the park has NO DOGS signs everywhere. We enjoyed our stay.
There is a new entrance to the park. They removed sites 208+209 and created a entrance with an office. The old entrance which is a one lane bridge across Beaver Creek is still there. Sites are level concrete pads and the streets are asphalt. There is a 12' grass space between sites. The ground was very soft. There is a space to park a vehicle at one end of the site. Close to town and other amenities. Easy to go to the various waterfalls that are nearby. COMPLAINTS They are pet friendly, however, there is no pet area. You have to go off the property with your dog. The showers & laundry are at the end with the old entrance. It is a very long walk from the other end of the property. All the sites on the Sandy River side are taken by permanent residents, and almost all the ones on the Beaver Creek side are also.
This was the 1st stop for us on a 6 month trip to Southern California. This park also has a parts and repair store. They do have some storage out in the open next to the repair shop. The RV park is small but there is a lot of ground toward a small lake at one end of the property. We got here on Sunday because of snow forecast in the mountains for Sunday night. The owners directed us to site 13 and said I could come into the shop on Monday to register. When I did, they did not charge us for Sunday. Sites are gravel and in the tall pine trees. Roads in the park are asphalt. The back of the park is along the river and have no sewer hookup. There is a dump site. Our site did have a sewer hookup. Restrooms are very clean. They are in a fairly new building along with the laundry. Showers are 75 cents for 9 minutes. Laundry is $1 each to wash and dry. There is a separate meeting building for clubs that stay here. There is a covered BBQ area associated with it. Town is close by with all the amenities. Sprint mobile broadband worked well. No satellite TV because of the trees. Park is quiet even though you can see the freeway from the park. We enjoyed our stay.
Arrived on May 31. Reservation was for one week. They gave us the discounted weekly rate of $18 a night. It was sunny and 72 degrees. The park is about 2 miles outside South Boardman. The state of Oregon closed the overpass (Exit 164 on I-84 for the month of June to do repairs). We were directed to space 74. It was close to a pet area and one of the restrooms. The park is neat and well kept. Restrooms were always spotless. Showers were free. Laundry room has 4 top load machines. $1.50 to wash & $1/50 to dry. There is a little grass round the office building and in the area to the left of the entrance with tall trees for shade. The park is very quiet. Spaces 1 thru 20 are asphalt & have tall trees on one side of the space. All the rest of the spaces are gravel. Sites 52 to 103 are out in the open (no trees). The sites are wide. We could park our truck to the right of the RV, even with the slides open. Water, sewer, cable & Wi-Fi are provided. Many, like us, were using satellite. My mobile broadband had a good signal for the laptop. There is an indoor swimming pool & spa, rec room, paperback book & magazine exchange, as well as some DVDs & videos you can check out at no charge. Owners were very helpful and provided a map of Boardman with points of interests. They suggested the River Lodge & Grill for dinner one night. The prime rib dinner was excellent. The portion was very generous.
This was the 4th stop on our 6 months trip to Southern California. Rate reflects our PassPort America discount. Driveways and sites are asphalt. There is a small grass area between sites. There is a sprinkler system that comes on between 3 and 4 AM each morning to water the grass. The bottom of the RV will get wet. The driveways are a little tight because some have to park cross ways to the RV. At least 1/2 the park are full timers. Park is very clean. Restrooms are clean and well lit. Showers are no cost. They want you to use the Pet Walk area in the back right corner of the park. Has 50 amp power and cable TV. There are no obstructions to use Satellite TV. Chevron Mini Mart is next door for propane. Downtown retailers and restaurants are not far away. We stayed a week here.
Asphalt driveways with gravel sites. Spaces were short and most people have to park perpendicular to their site making the driveway narrow. Spent one week here. The weekend was very full. Restrooms were clean but very small. One of the 4 men's showers were out of order and not fixed while we were here. Tall trees prevented using satellite dish. Cable TV was available. Little noisy until midnight because of a 1st Street (main street into town) and a warehouse at back of park.
This is a quiet, clean park. It was only about 1/3 full. Front half of park has cement pads with all connections including cable TV. Back half of park is 14' wide level gravel pads with 12' grass between sites. No cable TV on these sites. Need to have a satellite dish. Only needed one 42" extendable sewer connection from our EZE Sewer system. There is WiFi, but I used my mobile broadband. Bathrooms were very spacious separate rooms with 4' shower, toilet, sink and bench. There are 4 washers and dryers in a separate room. We were in space 80 at the end of the row in the back half.
