Very quite park, all asphalt parking for the RV's. Very easy to pull in and pull out. Stayed on loop C, lot 69 with beautiful views on the twin mountains. Lots of birds and sounds of nature. Park ranger was by about an hour after we arrived so felt secure. Nice fire pit & picnic table. Large tree like bushes separated each site so you did have a little privacy. The views were wonderful and it was so quite can't wait to stay there again.
The sites were very tight. We thought we were going to have a space next to river but they should have said close to the river. Make sure when making reservations for river sites ask them if there is any spaces between you and the river. Also the fire pits where we stayed Lot 40-44 were to the back corner of lot with a retaining wall of rocks so no where for smoke to go. When making a reservation request lots 25-28 for tent camping (right on the river) or if RV lot 16-20 is perfect. Office staff said they book up a year in advance, not sure about that. Roads were all gravel so made it tough to walk with the clouds of dust. They have a dump site but it is on a hill facing the wrong way. The bathrooms weren't clean and the toilets had over flow problems. All and all we had a good time but felt very closed in, the river was beautiful when the rv's in front of us moved. The WiFi near the river was very poor.
