Rate reflects Coast-to-Coast. It was $3.00 extra for 50 amp which is the $18.00. Bare bones park easy off the freeway but you didn't hear the traffic noise inside. West of the city so you aren't in all the hub-bub but still close enough to enjoy the city. Sites are all dirt but they do have a picnic table. Have a little store in the office with lots of trinkets. We would stay here again when in the area but there is nothing special about the park.
This is the first park I have given a 10 to. It is awesome and the people in the office are so friendly and helpful. Most sites have a nice grassy yard and the spaces are all concrete. Each has a picnic table. They really keep everything nice. Easy on and off the freeway and while you hear the traffic noise somewhat when you are sitting outside, you can't hear it in your rig. It is a gated park and they have a nice club house you can use along with a store. Great place and we will definitely stay here again. Rate reflects Good Sam discount.
This is a weird park. It's just one big loop with wider areas for you to pull to the side of the road so you are parked right behind someone else. Depending on which side you pull off on whether your door opens up onto the grass or the road. Electric only but it is 50 amp which we needed for the A/C as it was hot there. Would stay there again only because there aren't many choices.
Beautiful park just outside DeSmet and right on the shores of Lake Thompson. 50 amp, electric only. Sites are gravel and back-in but have nice big lots with grass and a picnic table. Only reason I'm not giving it a higher rating is the flies were horrible when we were there and the site had cigarette butts all over and junk in the firepit which they came right away and cleaned up when we told them but they were not busy so not sure why it hadn't been done.
Right on the Missouri River. 50 amp, gravel sites with patio. Nothing fancy about it, but worked great while we spent a few days in the area. It really is in Sioux City, Iowa but you drive into a tiny corner of Nebraska which is the parks address. Staff was super friendly and very willing to help. It was fun to watch the boats on the river from your site. Would definitely stay here again although it isn't too easy to get to while they are doing all the construction the the freeway.
An OK park. They are doing some work to this park and while it was OK, it certainly does need some TLC. Staff is super friendly and helpful and will give you great ideas on things to see and do in the area. Biggest problem is the 3/4 mile of dirt road to get to the park. Nice club house and swimming pool which is kept spotless. Shack they are using for an office needs to be cleaned up. We would stay here again.
This is a gorgeous park and very well taken care of. It is part of the Fleming Park system. 50 amp FHU. Sites are gravel, but nice lawn around sites. Camp hosts were very friendly. Saw lots of deer and squirrels every night. Loved it here and would definitely stay here again.
Nice state park on Lake Catherine. Office people are not friendly nor helpful. Told us to go find a spot and that anything that didn't have a reserved sign was OK. Also said they didn't know what sites could get satellite. Found a spot, parked and set up, went up to pay and they said that spot was reserved so we had to move even though it didn't have a reserved sign. Not easy to get to from main highways. Park is set up strangely so it is hard to find sites without driving through areas you don't need to be in with a MH pulling a toad. While it was a beautiful place, we would not stay here again.
Very nice park with lots of amenities, but there are things we don't use so don't like to pay for them. Had MH trouble and the repair shop was right next door which is why we stayed there. Park is very well kept. Gravel sites with small patio and picnic table. It has a store and can fill your rig with propane. Would rate it higher if it weren't so expensive. We would stay here again.
Pretty bare bones park. 50 amp service. Lots of sand stickers so watch your pets. Owner is very friendly. Laundry is very clean. It is east of the city so very quiet. Looks like there are quite a few oil rig guys that stay for several months at a time. Would stay here again, but certainly not a destination.
This rate reflects Coast-to-Coast and does not include electricity. You take your meter reading when you arrive and again when you leave and they figure out what you owe at checkout. Gravel sites. Close to Lake, some sites can see the lake. Some sites are full hookup, others are water and electric but they come around and pump out your black water. Some activities but guess they don;t get much participation so they don;t have too many. Friendly staff. Would stay here again.
Rate of 16.50 is Passport America rate which is good for 14 days plus $4. per day electricity. Pretty bare bones but an OK park for the money. Sites have a little gravel to back your rig on but not long enough for a big rig. Nice concrete patios. Lots of activities. Friendly office staff. Said they had a guy who delivered propane but we had a sign in our window and he never came the 10 days we were there.
Rate reflects a Good Sam discount. Nice park. 50 amp. Gravel sites. Park is pretty well taken care of. Nice people in the office. Can fill your rig with propane. Cafe serves breakfast and dinner. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice park. Concrete pads. Not a tree in sight. Management was very nice and helpful. The easiest hookups we've had in any park. Took less that 2 minutes to hook everything up as they are all right together. We would definitely stay here again. A little pricey and there are no discounts except for paying by cash or check. They were less then half full when we stayed there.
Rate reflects guest rate of my sister who is a member of CRA and was staying there. It is an OK park. All gravel. Never saw any grass anywhere. Some sites are small. Park is old and doesn't have 50 amp service which is hard to believe what with the Arizona heat. I was having trouble with our coach and it was going in for service on a Wednesday and we had to check out on Monday. Tried to stay 2 more days but the "rules" wouldn't allow it even though the park was only half full. Don't know that we would stay here again.
We love it here. The views are amazing. It is all dry camping but dump station and water not too far away. Security gate closes at sundown. The $3.00 per night works with your Golden Age Pass. Must purchase passes from area stores in Mesa.
Very nice park but the sites are small and hard to back in to. Unorganized staff but friendly. Security gate. Received Passport-America rate for 2 nights, but it's not good on weekends. On-site propane delivery and trash pickup. Would definitely stay here again. Concrete patio.
This is an OK park for an overnight in the desert. Rate reflects PA discount. Lots of long term, some whose yards are not clean and well kept. Park was pretty full when we were there. We wanted a pull-through so we were parked outside the main park and only had electric and water. There is a dump station but not convenient to get to from the area we were parked. We had to go out on the street and back in through the main park to use it. Office was dirty and cluttered. We would stay here again only as an overnight option.
Not from the Ritz and no amenities to reflect this price but there are only 3 RV Parks in Billings and this is the cheapest of the 3! We stay here because it is close to family...no other choice. Manager is nice.
Based on Passport America rate. This is a nice over 55 park that has several spaces for overnighters. We have stayed here several times and really like it. The park is nice and clean, is a gated park, sites are gravel with a nice concrete pad and picnic table.
This rate is based on their monthly rate of $400 plus electricity. Sites are small for a rig with slideouts. Management is very friendly. Lots of long-term residents, some of whom don't keep their sites cleared of junk. We stay here because it's close to our kids. Stayed at the park September through December. Laundry is spotless.
This is the Passport America rate good for 2 nights. The park is all paved and level sites which are mostly pull-throughs. They have propane on site and a small store mostly filled with wines from the area. It was worth the $27 a night but didn't feel it would be worth the $54 a night. The sites are set up at such an angle with each other that the exhaust from the motorhome next to us came right in our rig when the owner was having trouble with his jacks and kept turning on his engine.
Nice, clean park but think it's a little overpriced for what you get. Close to the freeway but we weren't bothered by the noise. We had stayed here a couple of years ago and they had lots of activities but didn't see evidence of that this time.
This is probably one of the most beautiful and well kept parks we have stayed in. Our rig backed up to the beautiful Boulder River. The grounds are gorgeous with fishing ponds, a covered pavilion, several cabins, and a store. Lots of lawn that is kept manicured. Would absolutely stay here again. Little expensive for the area and sites are gravel but other than that it is great. No sewer but do have a dump station.
The park itself was fine but it is right next to the freeway and train on the other side of the freeway so it was terribly noisy all night. They charge $27 per night for 30 amp. Would not stay here again. No sewer but do have a dump station.
Campground has mostly long term rigs and most had junk around them. Sites are small. The people in the site next to ours fought half the night with windows open and looked to be long term. Would NOT stay here again.
We stayed in the Lakeside Loop. The road into the campground is very rough and not maintained. Area around the sites is not maintained. We paid for our site within the 30 minutes required. Someone checked the fee box later that evening, but the next morning the host told us (and the people in the site across from us) that neither one of us had paid, even though nothing was said when the box was checked that evening! We paid a 2nd time because we had paid with cash, so had no proof. Would NOT stay here again.
Rate reflects PA discount. The park was clean enough. Lots of winter snowbirds here. We were told nothing about any activities and were parked close to the railroad tracks. Trains running ALL night and blowing their whistles: horrible night's sleep every night. We were in an end spot and the hookups were on the wrong side. In order to reach them we were backed up almost touching the RV behind us and it gave us no yard. Would never stay here again.
This park is more like a resort. It has a huge hot tub, pool, fireplace pavilion, BBQ's, club house, fishing pond, workout room, laundry, picnic tables, concrete level sites, paved roads and grassy areas for each site. A cabin and 2 trailers are for rent by the day, week or month. The park is kept spotless and the owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and go out of their way to make your experience with them a wonderful one. We work camped here from mid January until the 1st of April and they are wonderful to work for. We highly recommend this park. It's only 30 miles from the Gulf and several towns close by. It would be a great place for a wedding, family reunion or meetings.
Very clean. Don't mistake it for the park you come to first on 3 Rivers Rd that is also called Southern something, It is not a good place but Southern Oaks is very nice: huge lots, friendly people. There is a laundry right across the street. Would stay here again.
It is a very nice park. There are lots of snowbirds, and lots of activities going on all the time. The sites are nice sized but a little tight to get in to. The staff is friendly, but some are more knowledgeable than others. The office is not open on Sunday which seemed a little odd since this is their busiest time of year. We would stay here again.
It is nice enough and close to Disney World which only took us 20 minutes to get to (our kids took longer to get to the attraction on their bus from hotels on Disney property)! The management was friendly. There is a nice laundry. It features concrete pads with picnic table. The only bad thing was the little sand stickers all over. We would stay here again.
It has sandy spots with lots of pine needles. They are doing a lot of work to this campground. Everyone is very friendly. The sites are big and we would stay here again. It is about 45 minutes into Panama City.
It is quiet and peaceful. A bare bones site as with any national campgrounds but the host was friendly. There was hardly anyone there when we were there so it was very quiet. The sites were good sized. We were able to use our Golden Pass and would definitely stay here again.
Nice park. Most of the staff was very friendly. We would absolutely stay here again. We had trouble with our car and the Ford dealership didn't get it out of the shop when they were suppose to and the park ended up giving us the weekly rate. It looked like some people were there longer term than a few nights but all were well kept.
This park is about 23 miles N/E of New Orleans and very safe. There are a few sites that have sewer but are more expensive and none were available. Did have 50 amp service and water. Spaces are nice sized, paved and clean. It was crowded when we arrived on Saturday but by Sunday afternoon it had cleared out and there's just a few of us here. They make everyone be quite by 10 p.m. so was no problem over the weekend. We were told by someone who lives in New Orleans to be careful where we stayed in the area due to safety issues but this is very safe and we would definitely stay here again.
Based on PA rate. We had planned to stay overnight at the Travel America truck stop at exit 101 on I-10 which said it was RV friendly. After being there for a couple of hours a security guard came up and told us it wasn't safe to park there, had been murders, break-ins, etc so we called Frog City and they could accept us. We got there about 7:30 pm, they directed us to our site, gave us our paperwork and said they'd catch us in the morning for payment. Clean park, the managers are very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay here again. Talked to them about the truck stop and they said that was B.S. and just didn't want RV's overnight. We'd sure stay at Frog City but will never buy anything from that TA truck stop.
Reflects PA rate and 30 AMP service. They have very few 50 amp sites and they were full. At least a mile of dirt road to get into this place. Nice manager but the only reason we would stay here again is the PA discount. About 15 miles S/W of San Antonio. Sites are rock...not gravel. Lots of ants. Didn't use laundry but it is away from the sites.
This is a wonderful park. The only thing it lacks is trees and shade. Nice laundry. Stay 2 nights and get the 3rd night free. They serve breakfast ($7. ea.) and dinner ($12. ea) and a free drink the night of your arrival. They have on site RV repair, propane, and RV wash. Staff is very friendly. We would definitely stay here again. Our little poodle got sick, and I called the office for a vet recommendation an employee called her daughter who has dogs to get me the name of the vet she uses. They also have a small store, book exchange, pool, spa, exercise room. Spots are paved, flat and huge.
This is a nice clean park and well taken care of. Manager is friendly. Laundry room is clean and all machines worked great. Some folks stay for several months at a time. The cheapest park in Billings and we thought the nicest. Would absolutely stay here again.
This is a great campground on National Forest Service and just 8 miles south of the Grand Canyon. Sites are huge with picnic tables, BBG's, and fire pits. With our Senior Pass we stayed here for $5 bucks a night. Very nice area and host is great.
This is a great small park. Owners work hard at keeping it nice and it shows. Everything is very clean and the owners are so friendly and helpful. Has a nice clubhouse with pool table, game room, workout room, swimming pool, spa, and laundry. It's next to the freeway but noise was not a problem. Very reasonable, you pay $4.00 per day for electricity. Lots of nice trees, sites are gravel but level with a concrete patio. We would absolutely stay here again.
Great park. All gravel sites and a little tight for big rigs but we made it work. The managers are very helpful and friendly. Only 900' from the beach. The train tracks are close but don't run at night so it's not a problem. We would absolutely stay here again.
This park is not in Casa Grande as it says: it is several miles southeast. An OK park but the spaces are hard to get in to. All are back in and the streets are narrow. Not a tree in sight in this flat, hot desert area. Some stay year around, some leave their rigs for the summer. Although things were winding down, they still had quite a few activities going on. We were here only 2 nights, so didn't get involved in anything. We did talk to one of our neighbors, who said since they were only here for a month each winter, it was hard to feel part of the activities. Park was very clean.
Pretty sloppy operation. We stayed in the park with friends. The first three nights we stayed for $14.00 through Passport-America. Several times we dropped by the office to get the weekly rate and no one was ever around, no one ever came by our rigs. When we finally did catch someone in the office, she wouldn't even talk weekly rate with us because we were a day late in asking! We tried to explain to her that we had tried several times the previous day. Spaces are rough with large rocks and uneven and the spaces are crammed together. Would not stay here again. Laundry was fine. No showers and only one bathroom.
