Technically, this is located in Las Vegas proper, not North Las Vegas. I was gently corrected when I mentioned that when I called for a reservation. "North Las Vegas is east of Decatur." Anyway, if all you want is a nice, quiet, modern place to park your RV and you don't mind driving a bit to get to the sights of Las Vegas (about 18 miles to the MGM Grand, for instance)this is about as good as it gets. Nice level gravel sites. VERY long sites. Great hookups. Great water pressure. BEAUTIFUL view of the entire valley and the lights of the strip at night. Amazing value for the money. They ask that you pay to shoot at least one day during your 14 day max stay. That'll cost you $7. We've stayed here two different times and there were never more than four other people camped. The range is closed on Monday and Tuesday, so if you plan to arrive those days you need to check in at the main information office rather than at the Shotgun range, which is were the RV park is. There is some gunfire noise, but it's really not that loud since the place is so big and you can choose to stay way out in spaces 70-80 which are away from the buildings. I would rate this a 9 or even a 10 if they had internet access (they tell me it is "in the works") and SOMETHING for shade to break the desert sun. Good security..gates locked at night with a pass code.

I wish I could give a 9.5. First, the not so good. Sites could be more level. Yes, they allow the public into the pool during the day. Doesn't bother us a bit because we don't use it. if you like a quiet float without a pool full of kids...you will be disappointed. And YES the trains are constant and they seem to LOVE their horns. Wi-Fi is sometimes iffy but usually reliable. All of that is totally overshadowed for us by the kind and helpful way we were treated by the management. We came to Bozeman for ONE reason...we had a very ill parrot and the only certified avian vet in the state is here. We checked in for three days thinking that would be enough. We've extended two days at a time since we just never knew how long all of this was going to take and have been here now over a week. We ran into a problem and were told by the clerk that they were going to fill up, that our site was rented so we'd have to move if they could find us another spot. The owner stepped in and offered to "do some magic". She rearranged things for us and not only could we stay, but in the same site. She also "penciled" us in for another week without us making any commitment to stay so that our stress level could be reduced. I can't recommend the management of this park highly enough. Lovely views of the surrounding mountains. Laundry is clean and nice. and they have Wilcoxson's Huckleberry ice cream sandwiches for sale in the store. That is only the BEST ice cream I've ever had.

Can't say a thing bad about this park except that it's not located EVERYWHERE I go. Staff is friendly. Sites are nice sized, clean, grass is manicured and hook ups are convenient and in great shape. Streets are nice even blacktop and wide enough for the largest rig/combo. It IS close to the Interstate. We had no problem with the noise in #139. Thank you to all previous reviewers who steered us to this park. We will probably plan our next trip North/South so that we can stop here again. Rate reflects 10% AAA discount.

The best way to describe this park is to quote what I just posted on my FaceBook account. "Sitting in the NICEST RV park I've seen in a long time. Nice long level concrete sites, trees but not enough to block satellite, grass between spots, free WiFi that actually WORKS, indoor pool/spa/health center and, best of all, a CASINO! I want to live here." Everyone has been VERY helpful and friendly. Shuttle to casino picks you up and delivers you directly to your site (not at a bus stop somewhere else in the park). Nice tables at sites, no fire ring, but the park maintains a lovely area with a large concrete fire ring with benches that is lit and maintained by the staff each evening. Rate shown reflects Good Sam discount (also give same for AARP/AAA). I'm told that I'll get another 10% off when I show them a Player's card from the Casino (and the casino gives you free play for showing your receipt from the camp ground as well as the travel center). SCORE!

We have friends in Vancouver and have very happily stayed here for a week at least once each summer for the last three years and have managed nicely in the old REALLY narrow spots. Things appear to have changed due to a recent change in management? When I called to make my reservation I asked for one of the "new" nice big sites since we are 40-ft with three slides and towing. No problem, we could have site 92. DO NOT let them give you this site and then charge you the extra $10 for it. The other new sites are well worth the extra money, wide with a patch of grass and a concrete parking pad for your toad. This site appears to have been an afterthought when the new ones were built. It is so narrow that, even though our tires were as far to the left as we could go on the concrete, we could not open our awning without hitting the rig on our right, which was parked at least three feet away from the left edge of their pad. The old sites are more convenient. Management appears to be making up new rules as they go along. The printed rules do not state anything about it but we were told no rig washing. The rules state no smoking in the buildings (perfectly normal) but my husband was told that he could not smoke outside our rig, that he had to walk over to the DOG WALK (practically off the property). This is a nice park, but used to be nicer and friendlier. Everything is clean. Wi-Fi is $5 per day, but my AT&T air card works well here. We will continue to use this park because it is convenient to our friends but we won't be as enthusiastic about it as we used to be and our visits will be shorter. Be aware they take no credit cards, but will gladly take a personal check, so check in is easy.

Very nice spot for overnight or even a few nights while visiting Bozeman. I don't think that the owner could possibly be any sweeter. She worked very hard to meet everyone's needs. Sites are a bit narrow for opposing slides, but I've been in worse. Easy on/off of interstate. Interstate noise wasn't bad, trains seemed to peak about 1-2am. WiFi worked well. AT&T phone got good reception. Laundry room was small (only three washers) but VERY clean and not expensive. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

We've enjoyed our two day stay here. The view of the monument is: monumental! We're here during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally so there are bikers everywhere and the noise level is more than it would normally be. Our reservation was honored, we have a 50 amp pull through site that is nice. Distance to the sewer is a bit difficult. Do not experience the speeding cards previously mentioned. Maybe the motorcycles are drowning it out. Staff is VERY busy, but polite and if YOU smile, so do they. VERY quiet at night. Would return. Rate paid reflects KOA card discount.

A very nice, pretty little park with friendly staff. It is a lovely location. However, had I not been merely "passing through" and there for only one night, I would have canceled and demanded a refund, even though I would have not been within the allowed time frame. After making our online reservation, we received the normal KOA confirmation and then we received a second, not official KOA email reservation confirmation directly from the park which stated, "We are a family friendly campground therefore, ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED for the comfort and safety of all our guests & staff. We are very serious about this policy and ask that you not bring it onto our property. This includes transferring it to another container or cup." I found this overbearing and it SHOULD have been stated on the KOA website, not added AFTER I have made my reservation. There is a sign on the registration desk to this effect as well, so I guess they ARE serious. Be forewarned if you enjoy a beer before or wine with your dinner.

Lovely landscaping. Very pretty greenbelt between the sites in the center area. Office personnel were very nice and helpful. The location is great, right off the Harbor Freeway and walking distance to a lot of attractions. Our only problem is that the sites are a bit tight for opposing slides. With slides out on both sides and the car parked beside the rig (the only place to park) we had no place to sit outside under our awning. In fact, there wasn't enough room to walk between the side of the rig and the car. Probably would have been just fine if we had slides on only one side or no slides at all. Rate paid is based on weekly rate.

Nice older park. Family owned and very friendly and helpful. Escort to our site stayed to make sure hook up went smoothly. No real amenities, but excellent park for "passing through" overnight. Easy to maneuver our 40 foot motorhome with toad into pull through site. At one dollar to wash and fifty cents to dry, this is the least expensive laundry we've ever seen in an RV park. Our rate was with the KOA "Value Card".

Absolutely beautiful place. Nice level concrete back-in sites with 30 amp service. There are some with 50 amp, but I didn't see them. Many sites are available for reservations, others are first-come first-served. Would be perfect with water hook up and even better (if that's possible) with sewer. Trees prevented satellite line of site, but local channels came in clearly with roof antenna. Pool is elsewhere in park. We stayed here while visiting friends in the area. Wish we could have just stayed and enjoyed the park more instead of visiting. Reservation system works well, be aware of service charge.

Very nice "basic" park. Long level pull thru sites with good hook-ups. No amenities to speak of, not a "destination" park, but a great place to stay over while visiting all of the local sites and caves. New owner (as of May 2008) is very friendly and helpful and is constantly upgrading the park. Hopefully those trees will grow up quickly.
