Very nice level site, cement patio and a little grass or bushes at each site. Staff was very friendly. Only get 4 hours of Tangonet internet for free even though we stayed here for 4 days. Verizon MiFi worked well. Price reflects PA discount.
C2C (GNP) pricing is bad enough for this park, but an additional $6/day for absolutely nothing is ridiculous. The Good: sites are level, hookups are good, Wi-Fi worked fine. The Bad: rest rooms and showers not usable, many long term and unsightly trailers, and a less than satisfactory neighborhood. There are many parks nearby, there’s got to be better ones.
Another mobile home park with RV's mixed in. Facilities were very nice and the people were very friendly. Cable is available only through the cable company, 5-day minimum, and it may take a day to get hooked up. Ours took a day, but some channels were never received because of hardware problems at the cable company. Wi-Fi was OK but sometimes intermittent. I would stay here again because of the friendly people and location in town.
Ridgeview RV Resort Site 219 does not have a cable output. Ran cable to 218 and got a noisy signal. Picture was poor with lots of interference. WiFi ($) was good at our site. Location of the park is excellent. Sites were level and the other hookups were excellent. I would stay here again. Price reflects Passport America discount.
Sunflower RV Resort has 1100 mobile home sites and about 50 RV sites, but the RV sites were level and hard packed dirt with sand surface which stayed cool in the 100+ temperature. The facilities are excellent. Just because it is primarily a motorhome park does not detract from the great facilities, friendly people and excellent location. Cable, extra $'s, and WiFi were excellent. Price reflects C2C pricing plus cable and other park charges. I would definitely stay here again.
Level black-topped spaces with good Wi-Fi and cable ($). Staff was very friendly, but every patch of grass was posted with "No Pets on Grass" and one said "$25 fine". Since almost everything is covered with black-top, and with the sun's boiling heat, my small dogs hated walking across the park to the one, smelly pet area. Pet friendly only to the point that they allow pets. The park was clean and neat and the price was just a little high. I would stay her again if I didn't like my dogs.
This is a Mobile Home park with a few empty sites for transient RVers. The place is clean and well kept and the staff, was quite friendly. You must be 55, one dog, and stay a minimum for one week, but the price is right and the location for visiting Sacramento is perfect. Try not to get a site on the west side, especially the weekend since it is right next to a noisy restaurant. The shower has no curtain or door and there are no shelves or chair.
Spaces were long and wide and very easy to get into. Electricity was 30A with no shutoff. Mostly long term residents but the park was very clean and looked attractive (1000% better than the Trailer Park, just across the street, which was a real dump). Take note, just in front of Garden City Trailer Park is Jon Jon's BBQ. It looks like an old deserted gas station, but take a chance, the ribs are great. Rating could be higher, but the price is too high. Stayed here 2 nights and would stay here again.
Very narrow spaces but they are level and on grass. Small self-serve friendly park. Nothing more than an inexpensive place to park overnight but highway noise and train going by throughout the night can be a major disturbance for some. I would stay here again for short visits in this area. We stayed 3 days and would stay here again. (PA discount.)
Small spaces but good WiFi, cable TV and utilities. Most spaces occupied by long term residents but everything was clean and tidy. Restrooms were clean but the shower room had large spiders and webs on the ceiling. We just stayed one night and would stay again.
Very nice Good Sam park. WiFi worked perfectly and Verizon coverage was very good. Campsites are very wide and level. Most of park is gravel with only a little grass on which pets are not allowed. No highway noise put passing vehicles in park give very audible crunching noise. I would stay here again when visiting Grand Junction, CO.
Price reflects Passport America discount. Poor WiFi and poor Verizon coverage but the campsite was level and full hookups worked well. Park has many trees and a beautiful river. Office was very friendly. I would stay here again.
Rest rooms and shower rooms were clean but the paint was missing or flaking from the walls. The roads and campsites were of dirt and the campsites were narrow and needed weeding. The one dump station was locked from 4pm until 8am (not conducive for early departures). The location is very good, Verizon reception was very good and the over the air TV signal was also very good. I would stay here again as long as heavy rains were not forecasted that could turn the streets into mud.
Beautiful park along Clearwater Creek. Leveling may be a problem, some sites required MH to have both front wheels well off the ground. I couldn't get level in Site 6 (electric only), but it's the best site to see and hear the river. Ended up in Site D where WiFi was the best, TV reception was good and Verizon was very good. Light timer in the men's room was too quick, turning off the lights. Twice while taking a shower, the lights went off leaving me in total darkness. Opening and closing the shower curtain turned the lights back on. Staff is very friendly. I would stay here again.
C2C price. Roads were half blacktop and half gravel. Gravel roads and the sites need a little more gravel. WiFi was poor but our MiFi worked very well. We usually got a good WiFi signal from Colorado Heights, but no connection to the internet or mail. Got TV from Colorado Springs over the air ok. Altitude is 1000ft higher than Colorado Springs, so be prepared for more drastic weather patterns. Park is very convenient to visits to Colorado Springs or Denver. I would definitely stay here again.
Passport America price. Grounds have many mature trees, thus require consideration when selecting a site. #47 was a little short for a 38' MH and tow, but it had open skies to the South. WiFi is very iffy and Verizon was too weak for MiFi. I would stay here again.
Park has first rate sites, cable TV and WiFi. Verizon service was very good. Location for visiting friends in Durango was excellent. I would give it a 10 if the price was about $30. I would definitely stay here again.
This park's location was very convenient for visiting Pigeon Forge. Both cable and Wi-Fi were excellent. The streets need to be repaired some, and my site was barely level enough. The staff was very friendly. Don't get that first site at the entrance of the park: every car, truck, motorhome, etc. will shine their lights on your rig when entering and their passage will be quite noticeable.
This park is primarily for long-term residents but it was neat and presentable. The transient sites were wide and level but quite close to the highway noise. Television reception was spotty with frequent dropouts. Verizon reception was good for both cell phones and wireless modem. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For $20: this a great place to overnight to visit friends in the Charlotte area. I stayed here 4 days and would stay here again.
C2C price. This is an older park in good condition and had plenty of shade trees. We parked on level grass/sand and had a concrete slab with a picnic table. Park was mostly for permanent residence but there was about 45 sites for transients. They charged for cable which frequently lost its picture and the WiFi signal was strong but you still could NOT get on the internet to get your mail. The office said that they were looking for a new internet provider. We stayed here 6 days and never saw the things the previous reviewer said he saw except that we were parked near the patrol car. We never saw suspicious looking people in the park and always felt safe. The parks 2 pools were clean and inviting. VZW was very good for both the phone and the USB modem. I would definitely stay here again.
A very clean and smart looking park but had no trees or swimming pool for any outdoor activities. Since the park had only one restroom/shower room at one end of the park, I was very glad to be parked at that end. The office was often not manned so check in was a little difficult. I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting friends in the area since this is only a place to park for a night or two.
This is a better Passport America park. The sites were clean and level and all hookups worked and were accessible. The staff and the permanent residents were very friendly. This park is near I-10 but there was no highway noise. I would stay here again if I had business in the area.
This is a very nice park with lots of older trees. This may be a problem for satellite users but since they had good cable this was no problem. Some of the paved streets need to be regraded because of large ruts. Site spacing is very good and level. The park was just off the Interstate and therefore very convenient for visiting both Ocala and Gainesville, FL. I would definitely stay here again.
This Encore (C2C) park is mostly full of park models and older permanent trailers but appears clean and well maintained. The park staff is very friendly and I found the residents to also be friendly. The sites have their hookups all the way in the back and my water hose barely reached. Spacing is OK and you park on grass/sand which was also OK even though it rained every day we were here since the sand was very compact and didn't stick to your shoes. Cable is only available for stays over 30 days and WiFi Internet costs. Big rig is limited to 40'.
My disappointment with this park started during hookup. The cable socket was broken. Mark came by to check us in and said that it was just broken last week. I tried to pay by credit card, but their phone was down because someone hit a telephone pole last week but he would accept cash or check. He offered no receipt or brochure regarding the park or local area. His information on the local restaurant was bad because when we got there for dinner, they were closed since they only served lunch during the week. He also informed us that because of the hurricane last year, the Wi-Fi antenna was down, so no Wi-Fi. My last disappointment with the park was caused by no hot water in the shower. I didn’t ask for an excuse. My final b**ch is with Verizon. Cell phone reception was a little spotty and access to the Internet was very poor probably because of an overloaded tower. Next time I will look first for another park.
Going for this park is its location. The staff was very friendly and the facilities were modern and clean. They even received mail for me. The space between sites was not sufficient in some cases even to extend your awning. Even the pads were too narrow. I would go back here because of the convenience only and price.
This is a well-maintained park with plenty of grass between sites. Concrete pads are not very level but possible in most cases but I needed a portable step to reach our coaches steps. Sites with sewer hookup require reservations far in advance, but the easily accessible dump station is clean and convenient. I have now been here three times and I would definitely come back.
Religious signs everywhere, but only a very few campsites are numbered. Most full hookup sites occupied by long term residents. The rest of the sites have gray water hookup only, which merely dumps the sewage on the ground in your site. The office is rarely manned so we went a 1-1/2 days with no sewage but was charged the full hookup price, including another $2.50/ day for air conditioning. Their 50 amp service gave you a 30 amp circuit breaker on one pole and a 20 on the other. When I ran my washing machine, the water heater would come on and blow the 20 amp breaker. This is hardly 50 amp service. This is not a campground that I would ever consider coming to again.
Completely shaded campground makes satellite hookup very difficult. Due to severe weather, tree limbs kept coming down and blocking the roads and sites. One road was blocked for 2 days. Gravel pads are narrow and due to all the rain, mud was everywhere. Indoor pool was available but did not look inviting. Neither did the restroom facilities. After a week out of the park, we chose not to go back because of the continuing severe weather. Stayed 2 days.
Gravel streets were a little narrow and bumpy but passable. Some sites had shade trees. All RVs were escorted to their site upon arrival. Management was very friendly. Small on site store had little beyond ice but large shopping areas are close by. Before staying here again, I would try hard to find something a little less expensive.
You got to love kids in order to stay here. There are kids everywhere. Camp has a new jumping pillow which is quite an attraction for the kids. Parking was on grass, but with good drainage, were very good even though it rained. On site restaurant/bar was full in the evening with live (disc jockey) entertainment. This campground is for the younger generation.
A very well kept campground with many thinks to do for the whole family, including a large stocked fishing lake. My gravel pad was a little out of level and pushed my MH to its limits to level. I was not able to get a full hookups site because adjoining pads share the same electrical and water posts. I needed a long 30 amp extension cord to get a sight that had sewage. They could not provide an extension. Finally, the latest Garmin GPS could not find the place because of street changes.
A very beautiful park with both forest and a large, open grassy area. Park was very quiet without highway noises. Management was very friendly and the park was very clean. Pads were of gravel but quite level. I would stay here again if passing this way.
Nice Coast to Coast park which was clean and in a pleasant setting although the nearby lake was very low. The park location was not convenient as a stop over and it would not be a vacation spot for my liking. Small trees mixed in with the pads may cause slide-out problems. I had to change pads 3 times to find one where I could use my 2 slides.
This was a very small campground where the sites were grass/gravel and very small. I could just get my Saturn parked behind my 37' MH without sticking out to far. Most sites seemed to be occupied by permanent residences. WiFi was not available because it was "broken" and they did not know how to fix it. 50 amp service was not available to me since adjacent RV's shared the same pedestal and the resident next door had the 50 amp plug. Aside from above, the staff (owner) was very pleasant and the park was convenient to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks.
I believe that this was the best park that I have ever stayed in. The staff was very friendly and the park was very clean and pretty. Although there were not a lot of trees, I loved the openness of the surroundings. On my next trip to Rapid City, SD, I will definitely stay here. This park gives Coast to Coast a very good name.
