Second time we have stayed here. Good place, clean, owners are friendly, sites have nice concrete pads. Pizza place is right in front part of RV Park and it's pretty good. Sites are close together and trees are great for shade but not always good for satellite. Have family in this area so we will stay here again.
Second time we have stayed in Russell, we liked it much better than Triple J's. Older RV park, very quiet, but clean. Easy to find but Triple J's signs are larger, pass their signs and look for Fossil Creek's. The owner was very friendly, when we pass through this area again, this is where we will stay.
This is our second time at staying in this park. We only stayed for the weekend and reserved a spot the on upper part of the campground, offering only electric and water but more space. We have Verizon phones and had little or no signal. The campground does offer cable TV, which worked well. Staff is very friendly and the campground is kept up pretty well. We will stay here again.
We were here on Labor Day weekend, and they obviously oversold the facility: very chaotic as they had campers and boats everywhere. Sites were very close together: most sites you have to share your picnic area with your neighbor, which is fine if you know your neighbor. There's little grass and lots of trees. We had trouble getting satellite reception. There's a nice convenience store with gas. We would stay here again in a pinch, but would probably stay down the road: seems quieter and more enjoyable.
We just did an overnight stay at this park. It was a little off the beaten path. The facility was cleaned and well maintained, even had a swimming pool and cable. Didn't have any trouble maneuvering our rig around the park. When we come through this area we plan on staying here again.
An older park, a little run down: needs a little housekeeping. We scheduled a late arrival, they gave us our space number and were to have information on the door for us, which we hoped included a park map. Upon arrival, there was no information and we drove around hunting for our space, which was not marked well. A car was parked in our spot and we ended up one spot over, right under a street light, that glowed into our bedroom window all night. If you want to stay at a place overnight, this might be a good spot to stop, otherwise you might want to look farther down the road.
Beautiful park, visited frequently by ATV'ers and Off Roader's. We stayed for almost a week: weekdays it was very quiet and beautiful. Weekend the riders came in and it got very noisy and some were pretty inconsiderate of those camping around them. But it's a beautiful park, with large sites that are very well maintained. If the noise from the off road vehicles will bother you, this is not the place for a weekend stay.
This was our first time at Glendo and we will come again. Sites vary depending on what part of the lake you select. The upper sites have a great view but are not guarded from the wind, some sites are very unlevel and dusty. Be prepared the reservoir is the only attraction and there is not much in the town of Glendo, just gas and some restaurants. If you don't have a boat Sandy Beach might be a good choice.
Very nice park, huge lots with plenty of room for the family. Very clean and friendly staff. We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend, they even had a nice small fireworks show over the reservoir one night. Enjoyed seeing the small towns surrounding the park; we especially enjoyed the town of Ellis. We will stay here again. I would suggest reservations; I heard the park is crowded on the weekends.
Very nice park, we will stay here again, sites were level, park was clean, staff was friendly and conveniently located to the main part of Greeley. Water was a little brown, but we had a water purifier so we just used that.
Older campsite, layout is a little funky. Power and water, no sewer, but they do have a dump station. Pretty clean but a little run down. Nice playground for the kids, Dory Hill seems to be a little center for the community. They have propane, convenience and liquor store plus gas (didn't notice if they have diesel or not). Sites are not real level, some are narrow, we had to navigate our rig so we could push out our slides. We would stay here again, there are not many options with power and water in this area.
Older park, sites are pretty level. Nice view of lake from sites. Owners are friendly have convenience store, along with propane. Wi-fi was very slow. Fisherman like to stay here and get up early to start the day. If we come through here again we will stay here.
Second time we have stayed here. Park is very basic, owners are very friendly. They were re-grading the sites when we were there, so it was very muddy. Nothing fancy but a good place to stay overnight.
Very clean park, pull through sites are graveled and level. Park is well marked from the highway and easy to find. Good access to downtown Taos. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Downside, no trees to block sun and wind.
