This park is located on a pier or wharf, and boats are lining the water. Actually it is a wharf overlooking the bay. Location is walking distance to the aerial bridge, maritime museum, and many restaurants and things to do at night. We enjoyed the stay.
Very beautiful area surrounding the park. Seems almost "oceanfront". Can walk or bike to small "artsy" town. Have stayed at "prettier" rv parks , but this one has its own personality and that is good. Wifi is good at park office only.
We enjoy the park for the location, but the sites were small, gravel and not very level. WiFi was non existent most of the time and our ATT phones were useless. Very family friendly with nice pool etc. Place was pricey like: 1/2 gallon milk $6.00, Bear spray $56.00. The park did have a lot of features like fresh coffee, sandwiches etc. In defense of their prices they have to make the money from July-October at the latest. $67.00 per night is a bunch , but I would stay there again.
Pleasantly surprised to find this park. Easy on and off location from I70, quiet, great Wi-Fi. Beautiful new pool, 2 large fishing lakes. Clean and very nice eye appeal. Large sites with fenced dog park. And nice managers.
The pluses on the park is that it is on the Mississippi River and the sights are large, level, and easily accessible. The staff are friendly and the Wi-Fi is good. Being the end of winter, the drive to the park looks desolate with the logs and stuff floated up from past floods. The park itself is clean. If you stay there follow the park directions and not GPS. We would stay again
The park was excellent in every aspect. It was very clean, prime location to city, beach etc. The bike and hiking trails were paved and the park was gated and had roving security. Lake sights are very nice and are available for up to 15 days and the other sights are up to 5 months. Sights are paved. Fishing and boating are available, but due to alligators there is no swimming. We saw one gator while we were there.
The park sites are small and being a beach property there is little shade and grass. We thought we had paid too much until we walked out on the beach and watched the sun rise and then it was worth the cost. Our site was large with picnic table and covered patio. Park was clean and well managed. Much of this park had permanent people and the sites sold for $100,000 up to $200,000. Obviously you are paying for the beach access and we would stay there again.
Nice clean park...wooded and private...close to Plymouth, Ma and close to commuter train to Boston (45 minute ride) WiFi is free for 1 hour daily and then $4.00 for 24 hour...very strong signal..park is patrolled.
I might stay here again if I paid an additional $5.00 per night and backed up to the river. The dust was unbearable and the sites are confusing. On some of the pull though sites, the first RV can pull through and the next had to back in. You were stacked very, very close.
Park was half full, but 80% of the park was rented by full timers and many of their rigs were not appealing. I don't know why parks allow campers to have Pit Bulls and Rottweilers chained next to their RV or TT. That is an accident waiting to happen to young children. I love dogs, but these dogs are not conducive to creating a family friendly atmosphere. Park also has gravel sites. I would not stay here again. Nice camp host. Park is clean and nice facilities, but.........
Beautiful campground close to Hot Springs. Only negative is on the right side of camp there is a lot of road noise. Arkansas campgrounds are beautiful and immaculate. The host here was excellent (from Wisconsin). I thoroughly enjoy camping in Arkansas.
Beautiful park and well maintained by friendly people. Great fishing, level, clean and spacious sites close to interstate. Very nice and would stay again. If they had a pool and concrete sites I would give them a 10.
Very neat park and very nice people there to assist you. It is level, quite, clean and laid out nicely. One great thing is you can stay in Clarksboro and have train access to NY City, Washington, Philadelphia and Atlantic City. Takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hour on train and is cheap. Clarksboro is across the river from Philadelphia.
It is a nice park, but I do not liked to be "tricked". There are several sites available and the place was almost vacant. The person that checked us in was rude and told us if we wanted wood it was $6.95 per five pieces or $27.00 delivered to the site. She said they had WI-FI, but did not tell us that is was available at the office only. She also said there was cable TV, but after we set up we found it was available only at certain sites around where they parked class "A". On our second day there we told them they advertised WI-FI and cable TV in the Good Sam book and on their web site. The lady said they would try and get around to change that. I will not stay there again
We reviewed the park before we stayed and it is nice and clean and family oriented. However it is very, very, very, hilly and the sites are so close you could almost touch the rig next to yours. It is very, very narrow, the sites are so small and way over priced. I would not stay here if it was free. I hate to be so critical, but that is the truth.
Clean park ,but hilly and sites not level. Could not get cell phone reception, bad TV , sites very, very close together. On a hillside and no air flow. Only positive is if you have children they might like the park with games, pool etc. I would not stay there again
Nice, clean park, but has spongy gravel sites. Owners were nice people, but this park is over priced. Park is listed in Good Sam book, but they don't accept Good Sam discount. Tried to sell me a KOA membership. Late in the evening or I would have not stayed at this park.
The owners of the RV park are the very best and do what it takes to make your visit pleasurable. They are very wonderful people. Great little stream borders the park, very nice meeting room. Park is clean and family oriented. Nearby there are a lot of things to do and ask where the locals buy their beef and smoked meats. Best steaks I have ever eaten.
This was our first RV park and the owners were very helpful and offered us assistance frequently. Was easy in and out and had a beautiful creek close by. Clean park and the owners were adding a banquet hall, showers etc. Many things to do nearby. Has very helpful and pleasant owners.
