There were a couple of things that caught my eye while staying here. One the pool was just dirty, all the walls on the lining were just down right dirty (not good impression). Second was the interesting amount of what seemed to be poison ivy growing through the chain linked fence at the pool. Third was the amount of foul language being used by certain folks towards their own children while in ear shot of other small children. Fourth was the rule of no drinks, food or smoking while in the pool area and these certain folks had their children eating and leaving chicken bones, bags of empty chips and plates throughout the pool area. I have stayed at other KOA campgrounds and they were very nice and so were the folks at Harpers Ferry. Will I ever go back? Don't think so, unless certain things change.
The facility was clean and the employees of KOA were outstanding and upbeat. Anything we required they furnished, no questions asked. I was short on some shoring for my rig and they had extras that was provided to me. The employees drove around fairly frequently and were always friendly.
