Paved sites, roads fair, many permanent mobile homes in park and it appears that many of the other campers are people working in the area and staying for extended periods. Management was very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was good most of the time. Campground is very close to I-35 so traffic noise was evident. Location is close to shopping and restaurants. We stayed here for a week while doing business in the area. Would stay here again.

Very modern campground with all concrete roomy sites. Close to river. Biggest negative was you are parked directly under I-35 and access roads. Noise was loud and constant. We stayed 2 nights because we made reservation by phone prior to arrival. Would look for a quieter campground if we come to New Braunfels again.

Beautiful area with large campsites and lots of room between campers. Very peaceful setting with lots of room for walking and bicycle riding. We spent 2 nights here on our way home from Coastal Bend area. Would definitely return and would stay longer.

Excellent facilities; restrooms & showers were immaculate. There was lots of shade with ample sized sites. Wi-Fi was available but only around the office. We would stay here again. It was close to shopping, restaurants and other points of interest.

Is close to grocery store, laundry, and dollar store with easy access to camp sites. New owners were very helpful however, they did not disclose that there was a $7.00 dump fee if you stayed less than 3 nights. In all of our camping days this is unheard of.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and well maintained. 50 amp sites were very wide and spacious. However, 30 amp sites were half size and very very close. I don't think two campers side by side could both open slide outs.

Campground under new management as of the 1st of the year. They were very friendly and helpful. Sites were clean and well kept. We only stayed 1 night but would definitely stay here again.

We were very pleased with the campground. Sites were level and the hookups were in the right places. Staff was helpful and recommended a great place to eat that we would never have found. We would definitely stay here again.

If this campground had sewer hookups I would have given it a 10. Excellent shower and bathroom facilities. Great view of St Marys river and all of the big boat activity. Close to Soo Locks.

Very clean, family friendly. Wifi was nonfunctional most of the time we were there and that could have been because of a storm that passed through the first night we were there.

View of Lake Michigan was great. Gravel sites not extremely level. Bathroom/showers are in desperate need of updating. While we were there the showers did not have hot water.

Very, very clean and well maintained. Concrete sites with picnic table and plenty of parking space. Bathrooms and laundry rooms were spotless. Centrally located in the "hill country". Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Lake view on two sides of park. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful well kept campground. Extremely friendly and helpful employees. Small lake on premises and State Park next door with fishing pier and boat ramp. Plenty of places to walk and "bird". 20 miles to town and groceries etc. In spite of that would stay there again. Campground lived up to its name 2 of the 3 days we were there.

We camped here for a week used a coupon from the Texas Assoc of Campgrounds so the price was $100 since we were new to the area we spent all of our days exploring the area and did not use the facilities of the campground extensively. Laundry was very clean and neat. Park has a lot of permanent mobile homes which are very well kept. WiFi was a joke, it was provided by an outside vendor which you paid for online. However, we never did get connected so we used computers in the public library in Weslaco. Location is central to everything in Rio Grande Valley. Would stay again if the WiFi were improved.

Park is the old city airport with campsites on both sides of the runway with 300' fishing pier at end of runway. Great park for fishing and close to everything in that area. Easy access, close to restaurants, groceries, Wal-Mart and just the right distance from Corpus Christi.

This is our kind of park!!!! Quiet, in the forest, clean restrooms and showers, very knowledgable and helpful camphosts. We have always found Corp of Engineers facilities to be top notch and this one was no exception. Would certainly go out of our way to stay here again.

Older camp needs a lot of TLC. Don't think the sites were laid out by someone who was a camper. Was fine for a stopping place for the night but wouldn't stay there long term.

Very, very overpriced for the facilities. Roads were unmaintained, hosts had a don't care attitude. While we were checking in we witnessed several unhappy campers ask for their money back and went elsewhere. One of the worst campgrounds I have ever stayed in. This is very sad because the area is so beautiful and it attracts millions of visitors each year. I think manangement knows there aren't a lot of other choices, therefore they don't care!!!

Beautiful campground, clean grassed sites, river view out front window of motorhome. Management very friendly and helpful with suggestions of what to do in this area since we are new to this area. We are staying 2 nights but could stay for a month for the view alone. Would recommend this campground to everyone.
