Sites are very small. You couldn't even play corn hole unless you moved the picnic table out of the way. Park is very picturesque, with surrounding Amish homes. The bathrooms were not real clean, with some of the toilets with black rings around them like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. This was not only the men's but also the women's. Showers were not cleaned very well also. The bathroom had tile floors which has individual showers and toilets. The doors are plastic that you can see someone in them but you could not make out the person. Some of the toilets had no toilet paper in them even though there was a dispenser for 2 rolls; they were not filled up for 2 days. This park has a wonderful indoor pool and hot tub which was very nice. Great ice cream and a wonderful staff running it. Except for the bathhouse and the small sites a very nice place but I would not give it a 10 on the bathrooms or the sites, more like a 9/9/9 rating. We have been in 10/10/10 parks and this is not one of them!!
One of the best parks we have stayed in. Park is run by a husband and wife. Very friendly and very helpful. The bath house is wonderful. It is the first park we have ever been at that I witnessed that the cleaning lady cleaned the walls and floors in the showers and the toilet area. She did a wonderful cleaning job. The walls are tile as is the floors. Very nice design layout. The showers you can control to the temperature you want. Big shower area with individual rooms for showers and you can lock the doors! The only thing of a complaint, if you can say this, is the sites aren't very large for kids to play around but they have a wonderful outdoor pool and lots of play area around it for kids. They will bring you a fire ring if you ask but again not much space. I would surely recommend this park as a great place to go and enjoy. It is close to everything! We just loved it
Sites were very level, gravel. People were very friendly and helpful. Bath house need to be updated but were clean and neat. Showers were large but the only thing they had was a water valve that is preset so you cannot adjust the temperature. The temperature was about 102 degrees. You had to keep pushing to keep the water on. It went off every 10 seconds. I talked to the office they said parts were on order to get them to adjust longer. I would stay there again. Nice looking park and very affordable.
Very, very wooded place. If you had a big rig, don't go there. We had a 23 foot and barely got around to the camp site. Showers and bathroom clean and nice. Staff very friendly had cable, which is nice. Sites were kind of cramped because of all the trees. You need to be good at backing in your rig.
Very woodsy. The showers were not very good. Lukewarm water at best. I asked the staff to turn up the temperature of the water and they said they couldn't because they use a mixing valve so the temperature is at 1012 degrees. I'm a maintenance man and they could of turned it up but I think they didn't want to waste the gas. The water had no hot and cold valves. So they controlled the water pressure and temperature. They did have cable so that helped because it is very woody with lots of trees. I would not stay there again.
One of the best places to camp, it felt like a true resort. Wonderful showers, indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, and very clean and roomy restrooms. A little pricy, but a great value. They have almost anything you could want to do from baseball to hiking trails. A must place to see. The only negative I could find is no where to put you soap or shampoo in the showers. This is a place we will definitely come to again the best place!!!
Nice park and staff. They had nice showers that were separate for privacy. You had to pay .25 cents for 5 minutes in the shower, but you could adjust the water. They were very nice and hot water. Toilets were narrow and small, but nice. Park was very well maintained.
Shower heads were bad with only warm water. Bathrooms were nice as well as the showers. Showers were separate for privacy, the staff were very friendly. Site is very wooded, however with no cable or satellite.
Bathrooms didn't have toilet paper and I reported that they need some two days later still wasn't any. Showers and bath houses are 1950's a small shelf to put you tooth paste and hair products. The showers you cannot adjust so you might get warm water, the shower curtains are too short so when you take your shower the water goes into the very small dressing area so you are stand and dressing in water. Have complained about this numerous times, but they don't care. Sites are nice and roomy and area and pool is nice. But if you plan on taking a shower or use their bath house be prepared to share it with the bugs because they don't clean them out each day or any day.
Restrooms and showers were small and only had 2 toilets. Only had 3 showers. Had to pay for 2 nights to get a reservation unless you wanted to take a chance on getting a site on arrival. Not much in the way of amenities. Good for a stop over, however.
This was one of the best campgrounds we have been to. The staff was very good and helpful. Grounds well kept with garbage pickup daily at your site. Showers and bathroom very clean and excellent to use. Great place to camp - will come back.
