We always enjoy staying here while visiting friends in the area. Our first time for a spring visit here. The park is MUCH less crowded than in the winter. The weather was not hot yet and there was no rain so we had a wonderful visit. They do need to work on the dog run. My dog wouldn't even walk into the yard as it is need of upkeep. The rest of the park appeared to be in good order. We will stay here again.

Worked for a quick overnight. The basics were in good order and the park is gravel but spacious enough. The lady in the office was kind enough to tell us the best way to leave if pulling out early in order to drop the chain and not have to back up the rig. This park is convenient off the I-10 and worked well for us.

Worked okay for our quick overnight. Was a quick check in and we had no problem getting our 40 ft. toy hauler in . Probably would look for other options if desiring to spend a week or more in the are but it was fine for one night.

Can't remember what we paid but do remember that it was reasonable. Nice park, friendly staff, great pet run, nice swimming pool. Quiet. We would have like to stay longer but got called back to work so had to run. Will stay here when in the area again. Nice to see a properly planned out park for a change.

Wonderful park! Staff and temporary residents are all very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the history of the area and met some fabulous folks, both new and former residents of Marion and Meridian. If you staying longer than an overnight we suggest you park to the right hand side of the main entrance as the afternoon/evening catches the shade. Much needed when it's hot and humid. We would love to return to this park soon.

The rate reflects our prorated daily rate as we booked a week and stayed longer. Nice park, convenient to the beach, restaurants. I agree with previous reviewer who stated the mapquest would have them do a U turn. Our GPS would have had us do the same thing but we are 40 ft. and always double check the route before we go. Very friendly staff and efficient, making for an easy check in. Pool is terrific, laundry wonderful. We enjoyed the beach and the tour to ship island, well worth the time and expense to take a picnic lunch on the ferry to the island. Elaborate Vegas style casinos in the area held our interest for a short time but we would rather play outdoors. Enjoyed several short motorcyle trips from this park. Watch the sand burrs in the pet areas but other than that we had a terrific time here. We will come back.

This park worked for us as we are retired and full timers. We are not traveling with children. It was all good, except the bugs, but nature does exist in this area. The folks were great about posting our site as we came in on a day the office was closed. Rate was reasonable for the amenities. Wonderful laundry. Convenient to New Orleans, Cypress Swamps, and Swamp tours. Great back country to ride our motorcyles. Folks were friendly.

Nice, small park with easy access off the freeway. Quiet and spacious. Very friendly folks. Would happily stay here again. Very convenient to Lafayette and surrounding areas, as well as within easy driving distance to Avery Island, Baton Rouge and Cajun cooking.
