We stayed here using Coast to Coast @ $12 a night, but this is also a Passport America Park. Nothing fancy, but big rig friendly with large grass pull-thru sites for easy on & off I-95 Exit 7. Laundry area was clean with good equipment. They close the laundry room at 5PM, which was a pain. Close to St Mary's and Cumberland Island NP. Cumberland Island is a beautiful pristine island unspoiled by development, with pristine beaches and wild horses. It's worth an extra day to explore.
We stayed here under Passport America for $17, with 30 amp electric and water hookups. Almost all sites are level grass pull through with no pads, with an average width of 30'. Ours was a little narrower due to the electric box position. Wi-Fi connection was poor despite being 90 feet from the antenna. No cable, but there is local reception and sites are clear for satellite. Laundry room was clean with new equipment. It's 18 miles to downtown Charlestown and took about 25 minutes for the 3 trips we took to the city. We found the management to be courteous and helpful, despite being busy during Easter week.
As Indicated in the other reviews this is the only RV Park in Santa Barbara. It is very tight for a 40' motor home, so I wouldn't consider it big rig friendly. The sites are very small and it is very noisy despite the noise barrier along Route 101. The local residents like loud mufflers and run up and down the street till late at night and start around 7 am in the morning. Very basic park and expensive for what you get, a place to park with hookups.
I rated this park a 9 only because there didn't seem to be a lot of planned activities (not that we were looking for them.) There was a nice large pool with spas. The sites were large and all the roads were paved to eliminate dust. This is one of the best parks we have stayed in. I won't repeat the positive descriptions already entered, but have to mention the spectacular mountain views. You won't be disappointed.
This is a nice park located under 5 miles from the beach with very little traffic. We are spending the month. The park is quiet with mostly seniors. The free Wi-Fi works good, but with some busy times. Lots are approx 35 ft wide. There are concrete patios, but the RV parking is on gravel covered sand and the RV can settle a little. We are enjoying our stay.
