We were greeted by a friendly hostess. Showers and restrooms were clean. Playground and equipment for kids looked fun. Pool looked clean, but we didn't have a chance to use. They had a free pancake breakfast; looked good, but we didn't participate. Gravel roads and pads. It was very dusty, but it has been a very dry year. Site we had was not very level. We only spent one night. Don't think I would stay more than one night.
West Yellowstone Park is an older, nice park. We asked for a long pull through for our 40ft, 5th wheel trailer, and was given one that was too short. Lucky for us there was a site available that was a little longer that we made work. Being an older park they were limited on large sites. Roads and pads were gravel and the one we had wasn't very level. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. They were all pretty young, but very knowledgeable. Lots of fun things for the kids to do, and adults too. Nice big pool with hot tub, miniature golf, and bicycle carts you could rent. They had a coffee cart, and food you could buy for breakfast and dinner (little on the high priced side, I thought). They have a great gift store full of nice things, but the best was the fudge. They have all kinds, but the cinnamon roll fudge was to die for. Yummy! Would stay again when in the area if guaranteed a long site.
Nice resort. Greeted by very friendly and helpful Hostess. Our trailer made all the shade we needed in the afternoon. Grass strips were a lush beautiful green. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna. All clean and to the perfect temperature. Liked the fact that the restrooms/showers were locked and you needed a keypad number to get in. What a nice safety feature, and they were very clean. Nice wide roads and very level pebble rock pads. We will stay at the Ambassador again when visiting Idaho.
