We came for a week and stayed a month. This is definitely one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. It IS a resort in that there are social activities almost every night. The sites are exceptional and so are the services. Wi-Fi is strong and good cable. We hope that we can return.
We stayed for 5 weeks mostly to be in a cooler area. Royal Gorge area is practically next door. There are back-ins, pull-throughs, and deluxe sites with concrete patios and picnic table. The price is for a deluxe site. Despite the mountain slope, sites are level, some with trees. The Wifi is the best of any park we have stayed in. DirecTV is available for rent. Staff, especially the owner, is very helpful and friendly. If we were to be in the area again, we would definitely stay here.
Clean park with lot's of open space. Most sites have no trees and are mostly level with a steep grade once you step out of your coach. TV reception is next to nil. Staff and owners very helpful. If you are looking for a place with absolutely nothing to do (excepting Little Big Horn) this might work.
Price reflects Good Sam discount. Grass between sites; site was level and long. For whatever reason, and I still can't figure it out, wi-fi could not connect to the internet. Services were fine. The place is dusty since it's all gravel and dirt.
The good: staff was friendly and for $10 you're allowed to wash your coach and the car. The bad: site was uneven, the NOISE level was significant, WiFi is free but could barely stay on it and the place is loaded with kids running around. This is not a place to stay long term if you're sensitive to the issues mentioned.
Rate reflects Good Sam discount. The only reason I didn't rate it higher is because there is a little road noise from the highway. The sites are long and space between is probably the most of any cg we have stayed in. Wi-Fi didn't work on the first day but the next all new equipment was installed and it worked fine. Easy to access from 90 or 93. The park is constantly being pampered with a lot of planting of flowers going on; all are in beautiful bloom. This was our 2nd stay and I would return.
We stayed for one night on our way to Missoula and it was ideal - just a couple of miles off Route 90. I stepped in chewing gum and the staff person helped me get it off. All utilities that were needed were located so that it was easy to hook up including waste. Wi-Fi was strong. A lot of kids and it was midweek.
Stayed for 3 nights and the 3rd night the rates jumped up because it was 6/1. Challenged the rule since I came in 5/30 but they would not relent. You are a captive because of its location. Sites are short and tight. Showers are the same, small stall. I would not come back because of their rules and rates.
What a great little park. We camped here for 2 nights and on the first day we saw bison across the lake. Sites are clean with plenty of room between spaces. No issues and I would come back if in the area. Staff is very helpful.
Great location for seeing Jerome, Cottonwood, Sedona and parks. Sites were fairly level on concrete slabs with easy hook-ups including sewer. Clean - well maintained park. Staff are helpful with tour information, directions and questions. Road noise can be an issue if you are sensitive to that. The Wi-Fi was strong most of the time. Weather in Williams forced us to stay past a week and we did get a 7th day free.
