After reading the reviews we were afraid of this place. OK, the turn into it is tight, but the staff was great. They gave us an end site right on the pond. It was great. Quiet and close to the Painted Churches and good food. Would we stay there again, sure. Only stayed two nights, but could have done more.
Don't let the slick web site fool you, this is a mobile home park for RVs. Located between a busy and noisy highway and a boat storage facility. We sat in a puddle of water for a week. The long term occupants have an attitude toward those of us just stopping to visit family. Had to drive 20 miles to get propane, since the park didn't have it. The office staff was not helpful at all. We interrupted her lunch and she was not happy at all. Would we stay there again, no way. On the good side, and there is one, great Wi-Fi.
Loved this place. Yes, the roads are gravel, but driving slowly will help you a lot. Pool small, but nice and clean. Sites gravel, but level and grass at site mowed weekly. Great cable and Wi-Fi. Folks in office very good. Will definitely be back.
Checked in for 7 nights. Should have taken prior reviews seriously. Small, tight spaces. Gravel sites. Right on I-20 if you have big rig. Tree tore our roof when we pulled in. Site is covered with cigarette butts and dog droppings. Wish there was somewhere else in this area that got better reviews. Don't waste your money.
This place will spoil you for any other park. Level concrete pads. Trash pickup at site. Beautiful grounds, kept up constantly. Good cable and outstanding WiFi. Office staff first rate. The long termers kept areas beautiful and not at all like a mobile home park. Will always stay there when in Spring. Pool was outstanding.
Good access to IH 35, but too many long termers. Two pages of rules and many of them were broken when we drove around. Adult pool very small and the family pool is at the Mobile home section. Grass not cut and gravel not level. Took a long time to level the RV. Wish we had stayed elsewhere. Will not be back.
