Park is gravel and very, very dusty. Sites are large and level. Access is good from highway. Long walk to office and meeting rooms from camping area. Long walk to dumpsters. Park has potiential, but probably won't be realized. Don't plan on staying here again.
Park is just off the Interstate but is really quiet. Park management is really great, staff is friendly and they help you to your site. Good Sam's rate was used. The small on-site restaurant was really convenient and had good meals. They have some goats and other animals in a corral, fun to watch. Nice level sites and maintenance was taking care of areas where recent rain had washed out some of the gravel. We plan to stay again when we visit Waco.
We stayed here as guests, and liked it so much we decided to purchase a membership. Park staff were very friendly. Park is maintained well and there is a great view of Grand Lake from the Eagle's Nest. Only downside is the road to get to the park is winding and has some overhanging trees. It was well worth the drive in though! We plan to spend several weeks a year here. They accept Passport America and Coast to Coast.
Stayed here on Passport America for $10. Water and electricity but no sewer. Park is large and well maintained. Only one person on duty and had a large line of people to register. Took almost an hour to get to site and hooked up. Location is convenient to a casino.
We stayed here with a rally. This was our second stay and we think this is one of the very best parks we have stayed in. Close to shopping with Walmart at next exit on highway. Clean park and very friendly staff. Plan to stay here any time we are in the area.
Checking in staff didn't know what sites were available. Had to send a young kid to check for sites. We asked for a site for a 40 ft., explaning we were LOW to the ground. They gave us a Very steep site, so unlevel we dragged our muffler clamps going in and ripped our rock guard OFF going out. They double parked a smaller Handi capped van on the site next to us (cross wise). The lady was in a wheel chair (felt sorry for the older couple). Called the park to let them know about the site so this wouldn't happen to anyone else, and the gentleman said THINGS LIKE THAT HAPPEN! We were having work done on the motorhome in Ok City . This is first and last time for our stay at this park.
