All of the sites are nestled in the mangroves. You cannot see the person next to you which is nice. Yes, it is sandy but by removing your shoes before entering your camper it is not a big deal. I did not encounter any mosquitoes although there are fire ants. Aunt Kate's restaurant has good food. Most all of the sites are wide and deep which make it manageable for the big rigs. St. Augustine Lighthouse and city center is only a few miles away. The bath houses were a little out dated, but clean. I camped here in a Class B and would return.
The park is small and dated. I was told that they will be doing major improvements to their whole campground to include new bath houses this coming fall. Over all this is a nice campground with beautiful views of the river and close to the museum. I camped here in a Class B.
This park is very nice with amble space for all makes of RV's. There is a stocked pond for fishing along with a waterfall at the river. The restrooms and showers are very clean. The staff is super friendly. They have activities for children and adults. This is a family owned campground. The owners are wonderful. I camped here in a Class B.
The park is huge and Class A friendly. The staff is very friendly. The restrooms and showers are clean. They have shuttle buses that will take you to Hershey Park and Chocolate World. I camped here in a Class B.
This is by far the cleanest campground I have ever been to. The restrooms and showers are spotless. The sites are wide and fairly level. They have plenty of activities planned throughout the week. The staff is very friendly. Plenty of room for Class A's. I camped here in a Class B.
Sites are level, hard packed sand. Some are a little tight for backing in. The restrooms are very clean. The park ranger is very helpful. There are hiking trails throughout the park. I camped here in a Class B. I would camp here again.
We were driving through and only stayed here one night. This is a very nice campground. The bathhouse was clean, clean, clean. They have separate showers that are enclosed with toilet, sink and bench. Sands restaurant is across from the campground which has good food.
Stayed two nights. Has large shaded pull through sites for Big Rigs. Very nice campground with a lot to offer for children: outdoor movies, pool, game room. There is a shuttle to Hershey park and a large campstore. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would be staying here again.
We stayed one night. This is a small campground with tight maneuvering. Would not recommend for Big Rig's. Pool was clean, with a lifeguard on duty. Restrooms were clean and tidy. Campstore was small and did not have much to offer. Staff was pleasant. I would not stay here again due to the park's size and cost.
Stayed for 1 night. A beautiful setting with lots of shade trees throughout. The bath house was totally refurbished with very nice upscale tile. Very clean. The campstore does not carry any perishables so if you need snacks/food you will have to stop at a grocery store. The slide was a little pricey but enjoyable. Pool was very clean and nice size. New level concrete slabs for pull through and back in. Free delivery of purchased wood to your campsite. Very pleasant staff. I will definitely be coming back for a longer stay.
This campground is very clean and nicely shaded. The staff is not personable and very strict. You feel as if the staff is watching your every move. Although it is a very clean campground, I would not be returning due to the unfriendliness and extra charges for guests, etc.
