Camped here with a big group, were able to get a group of sites together and a couple of the sites were big enough for everyone to gather. Nice interior roads for walking & bike riding. Beautiful surroundings right on confluence of river & creek, nice fishing and hiking trails. Very interesting historical logging museum across highway.
Park is a big parking lot that works well for serious crabbing & fishing folk with a great set-up for cooking/cleaning crab. Sites are level and boats can be parked right next to your rig. Very nice rec room for gathering. Heard there have been issues so now gates have combo locks on them, but also heard law enforcement is addressing problems. We've stayed here several times to crab and will continue to do so. Staff friendly and helpful. Right next to marina and very short walk to shops.
Stayed overnight, very convenient to I-15. Older park, sites are long enough but quite narrow. Our slides wouldn't extend in the site assigned but we were able to switch easily. Lots of noise from highway and town. Not much shade. Pool, spa, restrooms & laundry facilities all nice and clean. We were given the combo for the gate as it closes at 6 pm. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Good cable reception and wifi worked well. Would stop here again.
Pulled in late after office had closed but able to find our spot and took care of everything in the morning. Nice level site in the "C" area, not far from the restrooms. Great place for the price, located right on the river and just over the bridge from Laughlin. Quiet in the evenings and beautiful desert mornings. Nice for our dogs. A bit windy but the warm weather made up for it. Would definitely stay again.
First trip to Kimball Creek Bend and had a great time. The road getting here is a bit narrow in places though so be prepared for some slow going. Our site faced the Rogue River, the view was fantastic and the only disturbance to the quiet was an occasional jet boat motor. Great facility; we were with a group and used the lodge for our get-togethers. Will definitely return.
Spent 3 nights here with our RV travel group to fish the Rogue River. Site was nice and level with room enough to park our truck and boat. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The clubhouse/rec room was fantastic: 2 kitchen areas, couches and recliners in front of a nice 50" TV; lots of tables and chairs for potlucks and card games. Wi-Fi at the site was pretty non-existent. Walk to the beach was fairly easy and close. Nice cottages for rent. Quite a few residents but they're just as friendly as staff. Would definitely stay again.
Very quiet and clean campground out away from town. Large grassy level spaces, but no shade. Cable TV no longer available, was able to connect to Wi-Fi but never stayed connected. Mosquitoes were plentiful in the evenings. Golf course has definitely seen better days. Bar and grill onsite looked good, the staff and residents friendly. Good place if you want to really escape.
Great RV park for sportfishermen and those who love the sound of sea lions. Located a very short walk from the harbor and close to seafood restaurants. Yes, it is a big parking lot and does cater to fishermen with a wonderful set-up for cooking and cleaning crab/fish. Nice recreation room for gatherings. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Nice quiet park in a spectacular setting. The park is on the Crooked River Gorge with a viewpoint over an area reminiscent of a little grand canyon. Very nice golf course and pool available. Gravel sites with cement pads and some with good sized grassy areas. Wi-Fi worked okay. Park office only staffed until 4:30 but camp host is on-site. Very relaxing place and the scenery is breathtaking.
Park was built before big rigs became the rage so sites are tight with high hedges in between for tricky maneuvering. No room for toads and Wi-Fi spotty at site. Nice enclosed pool & hot tub. Railroad noise heard & felt. Nice RV wash. Large place and very family/pet friendly. Convenient to Vancouver and surrounding area, very close to Costco. Staff friendly & helpful, store well stocked. Would stay again.
We were able to get in on the holiday (Labor Day) weekend without reservations. Centrally located to golf, stores, restaurants and touring the area. Sites around the edges more private & shaded. Wi-Fi wasn't working at site, had to go to office/ lounge to connect. Hot tub out of order. Staff friendly enough, and even refunded 1 night as we ended up leaving a day early. Highway noise noticeable but not too bad. Would stay here again.
Nice, well maintained park. It sits high on a hill and has great views. Restrooms very clean, good size showers. Great PA price and golf course discount. Host Lonnie very personable & friendly, had good advice for the golf course and things to do in surrounding area! Park is expanding so hopefully prices won't go up too much and won't lose it's "down home" charm but will gain some shade trees. We definitely plan on returning.
Very nice park though some sites are on the small side, a little close and there's no shade trees. Extremely clean restrooms/showers, nice dog runs. Walking distance to Super Target & Scheels sporting goods and new shopping center opening soon. Staff friendly & helpful. WiFi hit and miss at times. Would definitely stay again.
A quiet park with good easy access to town and sights in southern Oregon. It is home to a fair number of full-timers but sites are well very kept. There's also a pair of resident mallard ducks who roam around but are well behaved. There are clean bathroom & showers. The only negative is there's no wi-fi.
Gated 55+ rv park, very nice long cement pull through sites with picnic table; cable, wi-fi; well-stocked store. Lots of permanent residents. Although the park backs up to the interstate, it's a bit of a travel on a skinny road to get there, we would return.
Price paid included 2 night stay and train ride to Grand Canyon. New, very clean park in town. Sites are cement with rocks separating them and require use of leveler blocks and sewer hose ladder. Very nice laundry room. Train comes through around 3:30 a.m. Trees are still young so can't provide shade yet. Pool is at hotel across road. We would stay again.
Very easy access from interstate but the road into park a little narrow. Sites are gravel and grass. There is a big pool, and nice bath house. There's some interstate noise and some sites are short. Wi-fi had gone out and was not working. Staff is friendly. I would stay here again.
A good location for seeing San Diego area. A quiet & clean park with lots of long-term residents, a few older trailers but all sites are well maintained. Spaces are close together and some sites are pretty tight. Office is only open 8-5 but night registration is available. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. There is a bit of an ant problem, it's addressed in the park guide. We paid Passport America price for 3 nights, and would return. (800) 422-1835
We stayed for 3 nights then stored the rv for a week while we went on a cruise; very personable and friendly owner brought us to & picked us up from the cruise terminal. Wide, grassy sites with a picnic table on cement pad. Very clean bathroom/showers. There were fire ants, we just avoided the mounds. Several long term quiet residents; with some road noise from I-95. It is a good location for touring the area. We would definitely return.
Newly listed with Passport America. Entrance not clearly marked; office is inside an antiques & statuary store. Owner provided map to Savannah & other brochures. Regular sites are farther in trees with separation; PA spaces are on grass field facing highway and backed up to tree line. Fair amount of night traffic, very busy during commute hours. Good spot for touring Savannah but nothing to do at park except maybe shop. Would return on another trip this way.
Quiet campground outside town a ways from I-65, we got to choose our own site, city run as part of big recreational area, very nice golf course across street, wide sites in the trees with picnic table & fire ring, more back-ins than pull-throughs, well paved interior roads, trash picked up from site daily. Lucky for us our nephew had credits so didn't cost. Antenna reception not bad but no internet.
Definitely overnight stop only, very quiet away from the interstate. On a country road across from a soybean field, gravel/grass sites, no cable but wi-fi worked okay. No office, a sign says to "pick a spot and we'll catch ya later". Would stop again traveling through.
Pros: Nice park, very friendly and helpful staff, small convenience store, handful of permanents, fairly long pull-through grass/gravel sites some with picnic table on platform, paved roads, trees, store, nice laundry, exercise room, bbq dinner & singer on Thurs evenings, tours to Nashville. Cons: a ways (12-16 miles) from attractions, highway noise fairly noticeable. We paid Passport America price of $17.95 on Thurs, $34.50 Fri-Sat. Would return.
Stopped for overnight, without reservations. Office staff very friendly & efficient. 90' gravel site level in orange grove. Easy to maneuver around in. Easy access off Hwy 58. Very nice and quiet. Would definitely stop here again.
Great family resort in the mountains off Highway 140. Sites are spacious with grills & picnic tables. Lots of trees that may necessitate maneuvering around for the back-in sites. RV sites fairly level. Lake provides good boating/fishing recreation and has good swimming area and nice walking trails. Facilities well taken care of, individual garbage can at site emptied daily. Would definitely stay again.
Nice place to stay while visiting Bend area. Easy access at south end of town with shopping nearby. Check-in went smoothly & fast with no prior reservation. Sites in the newer section level and shady with nice grass and picnic tables. Would stay again.
Stayed just prior to grand opening of park. Although right next to highway, noise level minimal at night. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Nice level sites with 4 "buddy sites" that allow 2 rigs to face each other. Great place to overnight. Would stop here again.
