The campground is big rig friendly. We were parked in the middle of a field with almost no amenities. This park is way over priced at $66 dollars--maybe a $35 dollar park. We had a function to attend nearby, so we had no options.
The staff was friendly and informed. This park is big rig friendly. The main complaint I have is it is very noisy because it is so close to the expressways. I am aware that the park can not do anything about it, but it is very annoying.
This is an excellent campground. We were parked right on the sound and viewed wonderful sunsets nightly. The restrooms and showers were very clean. The campground workers were all very friendly and professional.
This is a nice campground. It has nice shade trees and the grounds are very well maintained. The sites are a little narrow and only a few are set up for rigs 40 feet and larger. We would stay here again. This is better than most of the other campgrounds in the area.
The campground is clean and well laid out. We were charged 12 dollars per night just to enter the park ( 6 dollars for the motorhome and 6 dollars for the towed vehicle). We traveled for seven hours to get there and were too tired to find a different campground. If you need to use their showers they are pay also. Instead of the 22 dollars a day for the camp site, it really would cost an additional 16 dollars for a total of 38 dollars. We will not camp here or any other Colorado State Park. Its not because of the cost but because of the fact that we were not informed prior to our arrival. We also paid an 8 dollar reservation fee but no one told us about the extra costs.
This campground is over crowded and not set up for big rigs. The electric was only 30 amp.,and was weak. The water pressure was between 60 and 90 psi and was not constant. The showers were 3.50 dollars extra and were not very clean. It had no other amenities. We have camped here in the past, but we will never camp here again.
The campground is a gravel parking lot. We only got electric and water, and it was 32 dollars. The bathrooms were not very clean, and it had lots of water on the floor. The drainage in the showers were very poor. This park is okay for overnight only. I am begining to understand why some people choose to stay overnight in a Wal-mart.
This is a very clean and well maintained campground. The pull-through sites were very level. The campground is in the city of Cody but was quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here before and we thought it was a good campground. It has been improved. It is now more big rig friendly.
This campground has long pull-through sites. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The campground is within walking distance of restaurants, if you do not want to unhook. Easy on and off the expressway.
This is a very clean and quiet campground. We were in site #13 and received a great satellite signal. Deer, turkey, and ducks visited the campground daily. The restroom and showers were very clean. It is located close to everything we enjoy in the Custer area. We have been to the Custer area many times. We will return to this campground again.
The campground bathrooms are shared with a day use park and are sometimes very crowded. The sites are not very level and only three or four are on the water. The park is not very well maintained. We will not stay here again.
This is an unusually messy park. We had to search to find someone to check us in. We finally found someone in the attached bar. This is a very dirty park. It is like a bad State park gone really bad. We will never stay here again.
The campground is undergoing some improvements. The park needs a real bathroom and showers for campers and not for people that use the fitness center. They have one unisex shower and bathroom for hours after the fitness center closes. The park is very noisy because it is so close to both US 10 and business US 10. The reason we come here is it is close to our home and relatives. We will return to this campground for this reason only.
This park is under new management. The new manager is making numerous improvements. The bathrooms are clean but very old and need to be updated. We have been here before because of its location. (five miles from Disney World) The park is better than it has been for the past six or seven years.
This is a very nice park. It has three pools and two hot tubs. The adult pool and hot tub is enclosed. The bathrooms and showers in the new camping section are excellent. The entire park is very well maintained. The biggest drawback to this park is it has a little noise due to roads, trains and airplanes nearby. We will be back.
The campgrounds are very difficult to locate. It is now located behind a new strip mall. All direction signs have been removed by the new mall. We were there early in the day and we got the only available site. It appears to be full of seasonal and yearly rigs and not for travelers. The bathrooms were clean but not well maintained. We would not stay here again. We stayed in a motorhome.
The park is well maintained except for the FEMA type trailers that are still there. The park has wood chips where grass should be. The shuttle system is very good. The security was ever present. The full hook-ups worked great (no problems.
This park is one of the best in the country. The park is undergoing Big Rig updates. Most of the sites are paved and the wooded area cleaned up. The biggest selling point about the park is, if you are going to Disney World, they provide transportation to all the hot spots.(just a short walk to buses or boats)
This park is well maintained and very clean. The park has ponds and river frontage. The park however does not have sewer hookup, and was a very big issue for us. We would have stayed longer but did not because of this problem.
This is very nice and well maintained state park. The sites are large and easy for Big Rigs to get around. The only problem we found was locating the park, and some narrow winding roads that lead to the park, from the expressway. A real problem for some drivers with limited experience.
This park is quiet and away from the town. The sites are set up for long term campers. The park is not set up for Big Rigs (only a few 50 amp service sites, and poor road design) The bathrooms and showers were not clean and appeared to have just been opened for the season. The park has a very friendly staff, but difficult to locate them.
The appearence of the resort has been improved and some updates have occured. This resort has a new manager and we have seen many improvements. The resort has a few problems that we hope will be addressed. The problems are: sewer connections are in a poor location, too few washers and dryers for the amount of people, and poor outdated cable tv.
This park does not have enough showers for the amount of campsites. It only has one unisex bathroom, after hours, for 77 sites. The lawn was not mowed for the two weeks we were there, grass very long. When it was mowed it needed to be picked up, but was not. The manager seemed to be unfriendly to say the least. The management allows three or four families on one site sleeping in multiple tents. We will not stay here again.
The RV park is excellent, but costly. We have stayed in this resort many times because of the convenience to Disney World Parks, especially when we bring our grandchildren. The sites are all paved now and enlarged. The only reason we did not rate this RV park a "10" is because of the cost. We will stay here again because their are only a couple of nice RV parks with-in twenty miles of Disney
This is a very nice RV park. They have made many improvements since we were here three years ago. The sites are level and the roads are paved. The park has sites of all varing sizes. We will stay at this RV park again
The campground is well maintained. We were in the campsite for approximately 12 hours and 21 trains passed by, blowing their whistles. It was very difficult to sleep. We gave this a low rating because of the trains. We will not stay their again.
We have been stopping by this park for years. The prices continue to increase, but nothing has changed to update or improve it. This is a small campground with limited area for moving a large RV around. This, I'm sorry to say, is a typical KOA. We will no longer use this campground.
This is a nice park. It has access to both the Atlantic ocean and the North River. If thats not what you want there is a swimming pool and spa. The park was quiet and well maintained. If you are into boating, they have a ramp and a dock on the river side. The park has sites large enough for any size RV.
This is a nice park. The park has about 1/4 mile of river frontage, one lake and two ponds. This is very well maintained and a great family style campground. The owners have weekly and special activities for the whole family. The park does not have sewers, but has three dump sites. The interior roads are gravel, but a large RV can move about without any problems.
This is a very well maintained campground. The staff made you feel like you were a returning customer even though it was our first visit. We stayed for two days. It was very relaxing and a very clean campground inside and out. It is an easy off and on the interstate. It is designed for bigger rigs to easily move about within the park. The pool and hot tub were well maintained.
The park and it seems most Encore parks are only interested in money, not customer service. Problems with our registration and was asked to travel to one of Encore's other parks(miles away). It seems they are over booking. If I would have wanted to stay at one of their other parks, I would have booked my reservation there. The price for one night is almost as much as Disney's RV. park, and it was not as nice or convenient.
This is a nice park for over-nighting. We had some bad weather and stayed for four days. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to extend our Passport America rates, due to the weather. We were there in the off-season and the music festivals were not active in the area. We did not have 50 amp. service and we do not believe the park offered it (good 30 amp).
This is the worst campground we have ever stayed in. The office and every building was dirty and had junk lying around. The sites are difficult to get into and very narrow. We have stayed in well over a hundred different campgrounds over the past twenty years. This is definitely the worst. It is however the only one in the area. We happened to end up there and was too tired to go on. Avoid at all costs and drive further.
This is by far the nicest campground near the Badlands. The park was very clean and well maintained. It is few miles off I-90 but to us that was a plus. The park was very quite and the staff was very friendly. The park only has 30 amp. service but we were only there three days and it was not real hot. The only draw back to this park would be grocery shopping. It is not near any cities. Our recommendation is to definitely stay here, but shop before you arrive.
This is a beautiful campground. This park has only 30 amp service, no water at site and one dump. We had to purchase state park entrance stickers for 4 dollars daily and pay 25 dollars a day to stay there (29 dollars a day total) too pricey for what you get. We were told we were lucky even to get a site, without at least fours months notice for registration. Needless to say we only stayed a couple of days. Full service parks in area are only a couple of dollars more a day.
This park has been allowed to become run down. The restrooms and bathroom were not clean. We have stayed here in the past (several times) but we will not return. The park as a whole was not clean. The pool and hot tub were not very clean, maybe not sanitary.
Unfriendly staff. The pool was closed. The clubhouse was closed. The park as a whole was not very clean. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. The site design is poor. All of the utilities are at the rear of the site.
This park is not "Big Rig Friendly". It has water and electric only. The electricity is not good either. We will not return to this park because of the electric problems. The view of the St. Mary's River was why we stayed there in the first place and the only good thing about the park.
This is a very nice campground. It is "Big Rig Friendly" It has some buddy sites and most are good sized. It has outdoor and indoor pools, plus an adult spa. The only draw back to this park is location. It is very noisy due to railroad tracks and airport just a few yards away. The staff is very friendly and the park is always clean.
Best thing about this campground is the fact that you are right on the Atlantic Ocean. The hook-ups are poorly placed for motorhomes. The sites are very uneven and crowded. The owners are attempting to upgrade the sites but slow process. It is a bit pricey. We still stay at this park about every other year, just because of the Ocean.
The sites are very close together and not very long. The park is not designed for Big Rigs. Pay showers for guests is not RV friendly. The park has no weekly or monthly rates. It is however the only campground in Yellowstone National Park with full hook-ups.
The interior roads need improvement. Most of the sites are very close. Only a few 50 amp. sites. Very loud noise from the highway. Children and dogs were unattended. No camp hosts outside of the office. Lot of amenities for families.
