This is one of our favorite parks! Very clean and well maintained, long, wide sites and very friendly, helpful staff. Utilities and wi-fi worked great, cable needs work and if fixed would get this park a 10 from us. Well stocked store and fuel, including diesel, on site. Brochure has directions for several driving tours. Give it a try, I think you'll like it.
We have traveled to NM several times and would not revisit any of the RV parks in which we have stayed. We would return to this park in a heartbeat! Very pleasant staff, well maintained, utilities, wi-fi and cable worked as expected. Continental breakfast included in nightly fee. We had a shaded site large enough for our large slide and awning. We will return and recommend this park.
This is an old park with an odd layout: some gravel sites and some grass sites. Basically, if you see a utility post, it's a site. The office is closed from 11AM to 3PM so just stop and get yourself a map, find yourself a site, set up and go check in at 3:00. Cable TV was some of the best we've seen in any park. Wi-Fi worked sometimes and sometimes not. It's a good over night.
This is an RV park adjacent to a casino. The previously posted phone number was for the Administration office, current number is for the RV park. If you leave a message, manager WILL call you back. Park is clean, well cared for and all amenities work as expected. Security patroled regularly. We would stay again and recomend it. Good idea to call ahead.
We thoroughly enjoyed this well maintained, lovely park. Pleasant, helpful staff, very family friendly with lots of things for kids to do. Our lakeside site was level with picnic table, fire ring, lots of shade but we were still able to get a Direct TV signal and WiFi worked. Very busy on the weekends but quiet during the week. We will return when in the area.
This is an attractive park full of oil workers with long pull through spaces for overnighters. The park is neat, clean, quiet and well cared for. Utilities worked well but may require extensions on your sewer hose. Wi-Fi occasionally cut out but recovered quickly. Check-in was quick and friendly. Follow directions in the Trailer Life Directory. We would stay here again when in the area.
This RV park was slightly better than average because of the size of the sites. Cable and Wi-Fi were excellent. We had an issue with our 30 amp electric cutting out every time we tried to use an appliance whenever the air was on. Some minor sewer smell in the early evening. The park is neat, clean, quiet, and safe, and the owner was very friendly.
This is a basic park with extremely long pull through sites although a little narrow. Utilities worked as they should and Wi-Fi was very good. Park was neat, clean and safe with a very friendly owner. We would stay here again.
We have enjoyed two days here. All systems worked as expected and when a problem developed with the cable, they were right on it. Restrooms, showers and laundry were very clean. There is very little highway noise, certainly not bothersome. Staff was friendly and helpful and we would stay again.
This is not an RV park full of concrete and manicured lawns. This is a campground with full hook ups that reflects the flavor of the area. It is clean, well maintained, attractive, with spotless bathrooms, showers and laundry. All utilities, including wi-fi, worked perfectly. The owners are extremely friendly and helpfull. You'll be glad you stopped.
A well maintained park very convenient to the highway. Of course that means some highway noise, but it was not bothersome. There are some full time residents, but sites were well kept. Friendly, helpful hosts, and we would stay here again and recommend it.
This is a beautiful park, extremely well cared for. Large sites will accomadate more than one vehicle if you have guests. All systems worked perfectly including cable (good selection of channels) and wi-fi. Be sure you make reservations as they are full just about every night.
This is an old park, the spaces are small and the road narrow. Our trailer is 32' and we had a little trouble getting into the space and it was a hard job getting out. Wi-Fi worked very well but be aware that there is no cable service. Each space has a hook up but you have to go to the cable company, rent the box and pay for the service. Only then do you have cable, the park does not provide cable service. There are very large trees and lots of shade, very close to shopping and restaurants and the park is reasonably quiet.
Lovely park in an orange grove. Sites had sufficient room, not to close to neighbors. All utilities worked well including Wi-Fi and cable and the staff was very pleasant. We'll be happy to return here.
Nightly rate is with Passport America and club card discounts. Wi-Fi is still not working, rules regarding dogs being tied up outside are not enforced and when we asked to stay an extra night were told we'd have to move even though there were several empty spaces. We decided to leave. The lake has been cleaned up, condition of the landscape has improved, customer service in the casino was great, in the RV park it could use a little work.
We have stayed here several times over the last 5 years and the park is not what it once was. Lawns browning out, no Wi-Fi ($) at all, the lake is dirty and the restaurant is pretty awful. A new company is running the gambling operation, new cards are required and be careful of the promotional discounts for the RV park on the web site. They are only available for upper level club card holders.
This is a nice park and we enjoyed our stay. Managers and camp host were very friendly and helpful. All utilities worked as expected, Wi-Fi worked well, we had no issues with noise and other campers were very friendly. Laundry room was one of the cleanest I've ever used. The only issue was the site being unlevel but we didn't have too much of a problem leveling. We would stay again and recommend it to others.
We really enjoyed this park (Rosa campground). A great place for families, large spaces with good distance between. All hook-ups worked as expected and while there is no Wi-Fi, there is a computer in the Visitor Center that anyone may use. Nice, small marina with friendly folks, fully equipped and boats for rent. Nightly rate includes $7/day, day use fee.
Price is Passport America. This is a very nice park with wide sites and a good distance between units. Well landscaped, neat, clean and very secure. Store has a good selection of items and very friendly staff. Fuel is available including diesel. All utilities worked as expected except Wi-Fi which is slower than dial-up. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.
It's not pretty but a good value. Decent spacing between sites, all utilities worked as expected, Wi-Fi and cable were excellent. Very friendly staff. There was some train noise but it did not bother us.
What a lovely park! It's neat, clean, well maintained, with friendly staff. Level concrete pads, hookups worked as expected, Wi-Fi and TV worked perfectly. Very nice casino, good restaurants and a discount at the RV park with a players club card. I don't know what else you could ask for at a very reasonable price.
Nice park for an overnight. Wi-fi worked good, TV service limited but OK except the three channels that did not work. Decent space between rigs and the park is very clean. Was it worth 50 bucks? No, but not much else in the area.
We have stayed here 2 days. There is plenty to do in the area and decent shopping and restaurants. The restaurant in the park is a typical bar and grill but the food was good and reasonably priced. Hookups worked as expected, sewer in our site was not above ground, site was level and the Wi-Fi was good. The laundry room and bathrooms with showers, while not particularly attractive, were clean. Price is Passport America. We would stay again.
Site was not level, had to raise the trailer on one side. There is road noise but it did not bother us. Sewer hookup was OK and Wi-Fi worked fine but you need to tell them in advance if you need it because if they park someone bigger than you between you and the main building, you won't get it. This could be a really nice park with a little money and effort. We would stay here again.
This was a nice park with helpful office staff. Easy back-in, all hookups worked as expected and Wi-Fi was excellent. We had an interior site and there were no pine needles on the ground. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.
Great for an overnight. It will be even better when the trees grow. Has nice large sites, hookups work perfectly, excellent cable TV and Wi-Fi. Staff is helpful and friendly. Would stay again and recommend it to others.
Just spent 7 nights here and found it to be an excellent park. It's clean, nicely landscaped, has nice large sites with extra parking, very helpful staff and excellent Wi-Fi. We would stay again and recommend it to others.
Very clean, very nice landscaping, decent space between rigs. Not all that pet friendly, only allowed on the streets until you get to the pet area at the farthest end of the park. The highway noise was very noticable and constant and if you are a light sleeper it will probably bother you. Cable TV and Wi-Fi were excellent.
This is an urban park with very nice, caring owners who are former full timers. The spaces for overnighters are tight but not too difficult to deal with. The only real problem we had was that the sewer connection was above ground making it somewhat complicated to dump. Park is clean, well maintained and safe. This is our second visit and we would recommend if in the area.
Park is neat and well cared for, some of the long term sites could use a little help. Wi-fi is "pay as you use" but works perfectly. Cable is very limited and our neighbor said they had none. Electrical issues forced us to connect to the service for the unoccupied space next to us. Overall a good park for an overnight.
This is the fourth time we have visited this RV park and it is one of our favorites. The price reflects Passport America applied to the weekly rate. The grounds were immaculate, we saw no debris in the lake, it was clean and yes there were ducks but they posed no problem for us. The office staff were friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi is a "pay as you use" satellite system, $4.95/day or $17.95/week. We did not find the charge excessive and had no problems with it other than it was slow during peak times. The casino was not particularly smokey when we were there and the restaurant provided average food at pertty reasonable prices. We will stay again and recommend it to others.
Poor access roads (full of pot holes). Sites in the interior section are very close, kind of a parking lot with hookups. We were in site 15 on the river,.a shared site with a total of 10 spaces. Most of the spaces were in a line, like you would park at a curb, very tight and a lot of jockeying to get in and out. We had to ask the motorhome in front of us and the truck parked across from us to move in order to get out. Sites are dirt and gravel, mostly dirt. Campers were very pleasant and friendly with the exception of one group who thought we should enjoy his music and screaming kids well after quiet time and that "dogs on leash" didn't apply to him. If you're really into boating, this is a great place for you. Otherwise, there are better places to stay on the river.
Our stay here was at the end of a 4-month trip around the country. We've stayed here many times and are never disappointed. The staff treat you like family, the park is always clean, restrooms, showers and laundry are spotless and the cable TV and Wi-Fi worked great. It was interesting to note that while many parks in the area had few clients, this park was full. We recommend this park to everyone.
Here is an owner that truly understands that how you are treated at check-in sets the tone for your entire stay, be it a week or a night. Couldn't have asked for more! Interacting with guests during "Cowboy Cookout" was a nice touch. Yes it's all gravel, no, there is no shade but it is the desert. Nice clean, safe, well cared for place to stay. Facilities are well cared for, hook-ups in the right place, Wi-Fi and cable TV are excellent. We certainly would stay here again.
This park is OK, but roads and sites are dirt. Dusty when it's dry and muddy when it's raining. Sites are tight with side by side hookups. That being said, it's still better than most parks in the area. Friendly staff and really nice gift shop where KOA Value Card will get you a discount. WiFi and cable (limited # of stations), worked well. We would stay here again.
This park is in Colorado City. Very well maintained, quiet and very pleasant staff. Laundry and restrooms/showers were very clean. nice store/gift shop. This was our second stay this summer and we would certainly stay again and recommend it.
This is one of the best KOA parks we've seen on our 4 month trip. Super friendly & helpful manager, very clean and well maintained park. Beautiful playground for the kids. All facilities worked great and cable and wifi worked perfectly. Hot breakfast available for a nominal charge if you want it. Quiet and peaceful. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it.
Nice park, well cared for. WiFi and cable worked well but cable channels are limited. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. MapQuest directions from Hwy 24 were not even close so watch out for this. We would stay here again and would recommend this park.
Rate shown is the Passport America rate. We stayed here for three weeks and throughly enjoyed our stay. The RV park is extremely clean and well cared for. All personnel were very pleasant and helpful. Wi-Fi and cable worked well as did all other utilities. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.
It's kind of a dump but OK for an overnight. I wouldn't bring kids here. No office but someone will come to collect your money. Wi-Fi was excellent, laundry machines were clean and easy on and off from highway.
Nice park, great service and very good ice cream parlor. Wi-Fi and cable worked well. Spaces were a little tight but were sufficient for a nights stop over. Rate includes Value Card discount. We would stay here again and recommend this park.
This is truly a lovely park, very well cared for, quiet and serene. We stayed two weeks and were sorry to leave. Very pleasant owners who will go the extra mile for you. They have added many new sites but cable TV has not been installed in new sites yet. We would recommend this park to anyone.
Stayed one night on our way to SD. This park is OK for overnight. It is an urban park and there is a train that runs next to it but there was no whistle and in didn't bother us. WI-Fi at the site and cable worked perfectly. Staff was friendly and helpful.
