What an exceptionally nice campground. Extremely clean and nicely setup. Great rooftop satellite sites, good free Wi-Fi and good AT&T cell coverage. Very close to I-40 and lots of gas stations and restaurants close by. Owners are super nice!!! We were in a large pull through site with plenty of room without having to unhook.
Nice park with a great owner and very friendly staff. Concrete pads with grass. All back ins but plenty of room for our 34 ft RV. Nice small park with a small dog run. Wi-Fi didn't work very well and neither did our AT&T hotspot but our Verizon Mi-Fi worked OK. We used this park to visit Boston, Rockport, and Salem. Worked very nicely.
Very tight spots. Barely room to open slides. Tight turns due to trees. Some spots might be rooftop satellite friendly. Poor Wi-Fi. Verizon MiFi slow. AT&T hotspot OK. Site not level. First time in a long time I had to use my leveling blocks. Only good thing is fairly close to Philadelphia.
This KOA Park is surrounded by a mobile home park. Very junky looking. Asked for a roof top satellite friendly site and they put us in a site with a very large tree that covered our roof area completely. They then moved us to a site that worked. Gravel sites with grass. Fairly tight to maneuver with a 34' 5th wheel. Overall one of the least favorite KOA's I have stayed at.. Would not stay here again
Nice park, nice managers. Very quaint. Located in the community of Bothell but as soon as you enter the park which surrounds a small lake, you are surrounded by trees and peace and quiet greets you.Close to Seattle (about 16 miles to downtown). Only complaints are too expensive, feels more like $30-35 would be about right, and no free Wi-Fi. Our general experience anymore in our travels is free Wi-Fi. Also nice that they had propane available.
Nice small park located 5 miles north of Tillamook. Very nice manager greeted us. Good free Wi-Fi. Good Verizon and AT&T cell coverage. Roof top satellite friendly. Our site only had 30 amp power but that was fine. Our daytime temps were in the 50s. Sewer connection is at the rear. I had to use an extension and just made it. Be sure to tour the Tillamook Cheese factory. Lot of fun!
Very nice park with very friendly staff. Good free Wi-Fi. AT&T and Verizon had good cell coverage. All concrete with good sized pull through sites. Nice overnight park. Located about 5 miles south of Gilroy.
Stayed here 2 nights on our way to Seattle. Extremely clean park. Our rate included a Bay View which was very nice. They are very pet friendly which includes a nice fenced dog run. Included free Wi-Fi was good as well as both AT&T and Verizon good cell coverage. Verizon data was also good. Our pull thru was very large and and wide.
Very neat park. The managers were always out and about working. The park is located about 5 miles north of Eureka on the 101. We had a grass pull through surrounded by grass. Free Wi-Fi was very good. Both AT&T and Verizon had good cell coverage. Verizon data was also good.
Stayed here exactly 2 years prior to this stay. Still the nicest park in Del Rio. Super clean with large pull thrus. AT&T and Sprint worked good. Free Tengonet Wi-Fi. Sprint Hot Spot worked good. Note: GPS slightly off. Leaving Del Rio on WB 90 the park is on the right approx 1 mile past the 90/377 split.
A nice cute park located approx 12 miles north of Waco. AT&T and Sprint worked fine. Our Sprint Hot Spot worked good. It has paved roads and dirt pads with grass. Friendly staff. Cash or check only. We stayed here 3 days. It is a very relaxing park with small ponds and friendly ducks.
This is a nice dirt park. A very nice husband and wife checked us in. The park is right on the river. The Wifi worked fine. AT&T and Sprint cells worked fine. Our Sprint Hot Spot worked good. We had outstanding BBQ (Brisket) at Lum's BBQ just south of the park.
This is a super nice park. It is very close to Sea World. It features large pull through sites. We would have given it a 10 accept the wifi was pay for use. Lately we have found many parks are now offering free wifi. AT&T and Sprint worked fine. My Sprint Hot Spot (wifi) worked very good.
I'm not sure the previous ratings were a good reflection of this park. The spaces are very wide and we were in a 34' 5th wheel and it fit fine length wise. I will say the roads are a little narrow for backing in your unit. We were lucky that the space directly across from us was empty. The park is exceptionally clean and the staff was very friendly. WiFi was excellent. Sprint and AT&T cell phones worked great. Sprint Aircard was also very good as well. Would stay here again.
This is a very nice park which for once is exactly as described. It is a super clean Desert RV Park. All gravel, lots of pull-throughs which are huge! On the advise of the manager we had dinner at the local Italian Restaurant which was great. While here, we ran into the owner of the park. Very pleasant experience. Great, fast Wi-Fi and my Verizon Air Card and my wife's AT&T cell phone worked perfectly.
All dirt park. Large sites. Friendly staff. Pet friendly. No 50A. They had wi-fi but we couldn't receive on the upper level. Verizon aircard worked fine. About 900kb d/l avg. AT&T cell worked fine (edge coverage).
Really like this park. Super clean. $62 per night was for their top sites. Office staff knows which sites are satellite friendly. Verizon air card worked great. We have stayed here many times and love the park and the friendly staff. VERY pet friendly.
This is a mobile home/permanent RV park with a few RV spots. Very crowded sites. The photos on their web site are very deceiving making the sites look much bigger than they are. We also found their laundry room not opening until 9AM inconvenient. It appears these hours are in place for the apartment that is located above the laundry room. Not very pet friendly. They send you up a path that takes you out of the park. Would not stay here again.
A nice place for an overnight stop. The staff is friendly. "Resort" is an overstatement as I think it is just an average park. My only complaint is I feel their rates are too high. Mid $30's pricing would be more in line. I did like the ability to make our reservation on their web site.
Stayed here in Jan. Had planned on staying at the KOA down the street but found them closed so we stayed here. Nice staff ,fair price and plenty of room for our 34' 5th wheel. Nice place for an overnight stop. Verizon Aircard worked fine.
It is unfortunate that the previous visitor was here before their construction was done. This is a beautiful, 80 space park that is new in all respects. All of the buildings are new, new asphalt streets and gravel sites. There is free TV which we didn't use and free Wi-Fi which worked great. My Verizon Air card worked poorly and my AT&T cell phone worked great. Water pressure was good. We looked at several other parks on our way here and this was by a long shot the very nicest one. When we checked in the owner dealt with us. He was very friendly and helpful. Because of our Good Sam membership he gave us a 15% discount. Total cost for one night was $28. My Garmin GPS showed their address about 1 mile short as we were traveling west bound.
Super clean park. Friendly staff who escort you to your gravel site which is raked after you leave. They also offer a free light breakfast which was nicely done. Exceptionally nice, very long, well lighted dog run. Free wifi which was running about 1200kb download and my Verizon wireless card was running about 900kb. Both speeds were fine for surfing, checking email, etc. Would definitely return. Also, 2 RV dealerships within one block which both had nice parts stores.
Definitely a "Desert" park. I was disappointed that the wi-fi didn't work but the upside was I switched my Air Card from Sprint, which always had a poor signal, to Verizon. The new card got 1400kb download while I had no signal on my Sprint card. Management was friendly and the park was clean. It is located about 8-10 miles outside of Las Cruces.
This is as good as it gets! This is a park that new owners should pattern theirs on. It is extremely clean. Pull through sites were paved, and the back in sites were gravel. Wi-Fi was available at $5 per day through Tengonet. However, my Verizon wireless card worked at 2600kb down; perfect signal. We originally were staying 2 nights but stayed an extra night to enjoy both a visit to Tombstone and to Kartchner Caverns. Management was very helpful and friendly.
A very nice park. Super friendly staff, free daily Continental Breakfast, free wi-fi, large pull throughs. We stayed here 3 nights and found it comfortable. Very pet friendly. The park is located a few miles west of Albuquerque on the 40, and about a mile east of Camping World.
We used the park as an overnight stop. The entire park is gravel and found our site level. Free wi-fi with a strong signal. The sites were large. The staff was friendly. We would use this as an overnight stop again.
This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed in. We arrived with the thought of only staying 1 night. We extended our stay 2 additional days to rest and relax. The park is small but extremely neat. The red gravel keeps everything clean while it rained on us all 3 days. We found Harvey and his wife (the owners) to be very friendly and helpful. As we were leaving, Harvey came by our site and gave us a thank you card. Perfect park, perfect stay!!!
HUGE RV Park. We stayed in the base camp section close to the office. Nice staff, large pull thrus and a fabulous view in all directions. Super close to Mt Rushmore and Custer State Park. This is one of the most scenic parks we have ever stayed in. Good Wi-Fi which was free. A great place to bring your pets.
Middle of nowhere park. Basically you are parking on a grass field. Lots of room between sites and this one night stopover worked perfect. The young girl who checked us in could not have been any nicer. She ran down to the site to guide us in. Would stop here again if the need arose.
This is a very nice stopover park. We were on our way from Ca to Mt Rushmore and liked the Casper area so much we stayed an extra night here. The KOA staff were very friendly and helpful. We did eat at the Bar and Grill next to the campground, and yes, it was very smokey. On the other hand, the staff were very friendly and the hamburgers and "home made" french fries were excellent. They offer drive up window service and take out.
This was an overnight stop for us on our way to Mt Rushmore. Great choice. We selected this campground based on reviews on this site. This is a small KOA campground which upgrades the KOA name by how well the owner has taken cake of this park. Lots of trees, wide sites, lots of pull-thru's. Owner very nice. Came out to our site to check on us as we were setting up. One caution...GPS nor Google Maps know where this park is actually located. Call the park for easy directions. They are just off of the freeway.
