Quiet park, no problems with water or power. Water pressure high. Cable and Wi-Fi both worked well. Didn't use pool, but it looked clean. Paved roads and level concrete sites . Morning trash pickup at site and dumpster available for other times. Staff friendly and cheerful. Escort to site. If ever in the area again, we would use this park.

Paved entrance road, gravel interior roads and site, fairly level. Lots of shade. No problems with power or cable. Older park well maintained by the two sweet ladies that run this place. Two hours free Wi-Fi, then 3 dollars a day. Wi-Fi fast and reliable. Water pressure high. Areawide problem with water, giving it an odor and rendering it undrinkable. Not the park's fault; the county is working on it. Suggest you bring some bottled water with you until this is resolved. Quiet park we will use again.

Gravel roads and spacious gravel sites, relatively level. No problems with power, water, cable or wifi. Two year old park, small trees have been planted but no shade as of yet. Some road noise in upper section, much louder in the lower part. Super friendly office staff, Grounds clean and well maintained. No pool. Camping super store next door. Nice park that will get better as the trees grow, we will return to check it out.

Nice smaller park with good gravel roads and level concrete pads. Water pressure high, quality good. No problems with power. Wifi and cable very good. Bathrooms and laundry clean and well maintained. No escort to site, but one is not needed. Friendly staff. Not much shade. Never heard a plane or train. Be certain to obtain a reservation, they fill up fast. Highly recommend this park.

A lot of bang for the buck at this park. No traffic noise. Good paved roads and mostly level concrete sites (some sites were not very level, ask for a level site upon check in). Sites also seemed a little narrow and short,. Our 30 foot Class C and Jeep took up every inch, although there were Class A's on some sites. Utilities are grouped towards the rear on the site. I doubt you could keep the toad hooked up. Power good, as was water and cable. Fast free Wi-Fi ( not TengoInternet). Occasional train noise. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free shuttle to casino. All things said, we would stay here again.

Clean, well maintained park. No power or water problems. Paved roads, gravel sites that require some leveling, concrete patios. Cable excellent. Internet fast, reliable and free. Friendly staff. Escort to site with help lining up. Clean, large laundry room. Very little road noise, minimal airplane noise from DFW. Dumpsters for trash. City is doing some drainage ditch work in the park, quite a bit of noise from their equipment during the day, not the campground's fault but you should know. We definitely recommend this park.

Rural park two miles off I-35, some local traffic noise. Gravel roads and sites that require moderate leveling. Small laundry room, machines work. Poor Internet, a few over air TV channels. Power good, water pressure very high, regulator needed, quality okay. Bathhouse locked from 9 PM to 9 AM, according to the rule sheet. I didn't check this fact out. Trash cans at each site. Grounds could use some TLC. Owner is a little terse. Would use again as an overnight, but not more than that.

Paved roads and sites, moderately level. Not much shade. No problem with water or power. TengoInternet lousy, as usual. Escort to site with help positioning, no trash pickup at site. Quiet, no traffic noise. Occasional plane noise from Air Force Base, but I have heard worse. Friendly staff. We would use this park again.

Paved roads and sites, shaded, fairly level. No problems with water or power. Mostly long-term residents, generally well kept. Quite a bit of interstate noise all night long. You will not find friendlier, more helpful office staff anywhere. No escort to site, but sites are well marked.

Nightly / weekly sites are all located near the road with much noise. No power or water problems. Minimal shade. Paved roads and wide, level concrete sites. Escort to site with assistance backing in, a nice touch. Trash pickup all day at site. Friendly, helpful staff. Might use again for an overnight.

Paved interior roads and sites, which are fairly level. High water pressure, quality good. No problems with power or WiFi, a few over the air TV channels. Some road noise but not excessive. Beautiful vista, right on the river. The biggest problem is the sewer hookups. They are installed too high, making it very difficult to drain tanks. Before leaving, it was necessary to reposition my rig as close to the drain as possible to empty. I saw several others doing the same thing. There is no dump station on site. Because of this drawback, I am not sure I would use this park in the future.

Nice park close to I-10, little road noise. Paved roads, grocery 1/2 miles away. Power good, water pressure and quality good. Wi-fi and cable both worked well. Fairly level sites, pea gravel/dirt sites, could be messy in rainy weather. Trash bins close to most sites. Office staff friendly. Didn't use showers/restrooms. Would use this park again.

Not much has changed since our previous stay two years ago. This remains a nice, well-maintained park. Friendly helpful office staff. Easy access from I-95 with some road noise. Paved interior roads with concrete pads. Turn-ins to site are a little narrow, tough to stay off the grass. Rig washing allowed. Water pressure high, quality good. Cable and wifi both worked well. No problems with power. Didn't use the pool but it looked clean and inviting. Trash pickup at site. Recommend this park.

Paved entrance road, crushed stone interior roads and sites, fair shape. Sites not very level, but they are good sized. No water or power problems, good Wi-Fi and cable. Just an overnight for us, so didn't check out any of the amenities, but there seems to be plenty of stuff to keep busy with, especially for the kids. Some turnpike noise, but not bad. No escort to site, this is sorely needed. Interior signage is confusing. Would probably stay again if in the area.

Narrow, gravel interior roads, fair shape. Gravel sites, close together, much leveling required. Escort to site. Trash pickup at site. No water or power issues. Office staff friendly, but they get that 'deer in the headlights' look if anything unusual occurs. With some work, this could be a much nicer place to stay. In its present condition, I believe it is not worth the price. Won't stay here again.

Huge campground that appears to cater mainly to seasonals. Paved interior roads that could use some work, grass sites are not very level. Power good, water pressure good but quality is poor, very metallic tasting. Wi-Fi good. If you have made a reservation, you will be checked in at the front gate house. You won't even have to get out of your rig. Security at entrance and roving patrols day and night. 4 washers, 4 dryers for 1160 sites, nowhere near enough. Might stay here again, might not.

Let's start with the good. We were in the very front section of the park so this review pertains to that part only. Nicely landscaped park with a lot of shade trees. Paved roads, gravel sites, huge concrete patios in the pull-through section in the front of the park. Water and power both good. No cable, no Wi-Fi. Now the strange stuff. No escort to site. The office is located towards the center of the park, past some sites and the propane station. So, if you need propane, you need to either unhook and back up the hill or drive through the entire park to get back to the station. Then your propane fill valve is on the wrong side. Or to get back up to the front section, these actions are also required. A minor pain but I feel you need to know. Not sure we would stay here again, at least for an overnight.

Gravel interior roads in fair condition, some gravel sites, most sites are grass. Some leveling required. Good water pressure and quality, no power problems. Owners are friendly and helpful. Good laundry facilities, good Wi-Fi, no cable, no LP available. Nice view of Lake Michigan across the street. Ferry services to Mackinaw Island provide free shuttle from park. We would use this campground again.

Paved roads and sites, minimal leveling required. Friendly professional office staff and camp host. Escort to site. No problems with water or power, fast free WiFi. No bath house, laundry 1 mile away in town. Not much to do in the area except exploring Alpena or playing golf. Still, this is a great place to decompress. No pool or playground, so the kiddies will probably be bored. We would stay here again.

Paved interior roads in fair shape, gravel sites, minimal leveling needed, plenty of shade, gated entrance. Water pressure and quality good, no power problems. No WiFi, an automatic downgrade from me. Office staff just okay. Might stay here again, might not.

Close to I-75 with some road noise. Good interior roads and gravel sites that are fairly level. Sites are a little close, but I have seen worse. No problems with water or power. Very nice office staff. Somewhat pricey for an overnight, but if you use the amenities available, the price is not bad. We would use this park again.

Although this park is 30 minutes from the awesome things to do in Cincinnati, the drive is worth the stay. Very neat, clean and quiet park. Water quality and pressure is good, no problem with power in spite of high 90 degree temps. Pool looked good but didn't try it out. Interior roads are a little rough. Plenty of trash receptacles around the park. Most sites looked pretty level. Great office staff. Wi-Fi is free at the office, but at site, you need to purchase it from an independent contractor. Connection is a pain and customer support is non existent. Just keep trying to log on and eventually you will get connected. All in all, we would stay here again in a skinny minute.

Narrow roads lead to the campground, but we had no problem with our 30 footer with tow. Rough entrance road, very narrow. Water quality and pressure good, no cable TV but a few on air channels. Pull through sites in the front require moderate amount of leveling. Nice playground area for the kids, didn't check out the pool. Just an overnight for us so don't know what is in the area. Very quiet park at night. Will stay again if in the area.

Located just off I-64, this is a good spot to overnight. Can't complain about the power or water, minimal noise from the interstate. Owners seem to be making improvements on the property. Super friendly camp host. Cash or personal checks preferred, not even sure if they accept plastic. We will definitely stop here again.

A very nice park located east of Lancaster, close to many attractions in the area. Highway 30 is a very busy road, but the park is far enough off the road that there is minimal noise. Family style bathrooms that are cleaner than mine at home. Amish farm just across the creek, however the prevailing wind keeps the aroma from the campground. The campground website map is handy when choosing a site since there is an amusement park next door. Some sites are very close to the roller coaster. HINT : as you face the office, the amusement park is to the left. You are able to cut through the amusement park parking lot in order to enter and exit at a traffic light. No problems with the electric or water. Paved streets and gravel sites. Office staff very friendly and helpful. Only negative is when it rains, water drains through many of the sites, running two inches deep by my door. Even so, we would definitely stay here again.

When deciding to stay here, first disregard the two reviews from July 2012. I don't believe they are about this campground since the physical descriptions about the parking to check in and tight sites and low branches are totally false. On our stay, we were treated very nicely. The office staff were friendly, cheerful and made us feel welcomed. Escort to the site, water quality and pressure good. Minimum leveling required. No one buzzed us in golf carts. Paved entry road in excellent shape, gravel sites. Cable good, didn't use the Wi-Fi. Moderate road noise from Hwy 37.

Good crushed stone roads and fairly level sites. Water pressure and quality was good. Sites are a little on the skinny side. There is noise from both the interstate and helicopters from Fort Campbell. They fly well into the night.

Although there is the noise you would expect being in a downtown setting, the positives of this park offset that issue. The sites are a little rough with some crumbling pavement. The sites are tight, but owners use every other one when they can. Water pressure and quality was good. No cable but all major channels available by antenna. Wi-fi worked well. Owners are very friendly and they know the area well. City noise during the day but surprising quiet at night. Close to attractions. Would definitely use this park again.

Enjoy the beautifully landscaped entrance as you arrive. It is going to be the last nice thing you see until you leave. This is a typical tired KOA. Rutted gravel roads and gravel/dirt/grass sites, nowhere close to level. It rained while we were here, not the campgrounds fault. However, I do blame them for allowing the park to become a mud bog due to lack of attention. Very loud traffic noise from I-70. Exit sign from sites direct you to a place where you have to turn about 120 degrees, tough to do with a 30 footer and toad. Cable hookup requires a double female connector, first time I have ever run into this. Doubt I would ever stay here again.

Small park just off I-70 with associated noise. Also train tracks nearby; however, only heard 4 trains in 16 hours. Office opened intermittently, but camp host available and very friendly. Water pressure very high with a strong chlorine taste. Paved roads, narrow with some overhanging branches. Paved sites require some leveling. Wi-fi was slow but usable. Many sites taken up by long termers, but very nicely kept up. Strongly suggest calling for a reservation. Would stop here again for an overnight.

This is a tough park for me to rate. Let's start with the good. Large level gravel sites and gravel roads. Water pressure high and quality good. Very nice owners with big plans for upgrades to the park. Some truck noise from the truck stop across the street. A few things bugged me here. The back row of pull through sites have the hook ups in the front. Unless you have a very long sewer hose, water hose and cable line (25+ feet), you will not be able to hook up. The row in the middle have the hookups in the back, fine if you unhook your toad. Keep this in mind when they assign a site to you. On the rules sheet, they claim this is a non-smoking park, smoking allowed in your RV only. I realize they are free to make any rules they want at their place. But seriously, won't the Kansas winds keep the smoke from bothering others? I did smoke outside and nobody said anything. All factors considered, we would probably stay again if in the area.

Nice park 15 miles from Colorado Springs. Quiet pretty setting. Water pressure high and quality good. No cable, no antenna reception, no cell reception, Wi-Fi good. Gravel roads and large, mostly level red rock sites. Friendly staff. Fires allowed depending on weather conditions, rings provided. A little far from I-25 for an overnight but a good place for a longer stop. We would stay again.

Smaller campground with great views at the top of Raton Pass. High water pressure and the quality was great,. The water source is a mountain spring. No cable, Wi-Fi worked well at first, then quit. Friendly staff, gravel roads and sites well maintained. Right next to I-25 but very little road noise. Ten miles from town so stock up before you arrive. Would use this park again for an overnight.

Let me begin with the good. The park is very scenic and the cable was excellent. Now to the downside. VERY narrow paved but rough roads and gravel/dirt sites that are not even close to level. Low water pressure although the quality was good. Fair wifi. Office staffed by teens who gave me the feeling that I was imposing on them by wanting to check in. I had to back out of a pull through site due to large trees and proximity of other rigs. Nowhere close to being worth what I paid for the night. There are far better campgrounds up the road 30 miles in Williams. Wouldn't stay here again on a dare.

Another rare ten rating from me. This place is a jewel in the desert. Rate is a special they are currently running but even the normal rate is a good deal for this park. Very clean park. Water pressure high and quality is good. Paved roads and sites that are fairly level. Very friendly and helpful staff. Gate security and roaming patrols. Escort to site. No cable but good reception with antenna. Wi-Fi excellent. 21 and older only. Some airport noise but not at all bothersome. Also some road noise outside but unheard in the motor home. Rig washing allowed. Six easy miles to the strip with all its free parking. There is also a shuttle available from a nearby casino but we did not use it. Highly recommend this park.

Nice park close to I 15 but with little noise. Water pressure very high, quality was okay with a strong chlorine taste, at least to me. We chose to use bottled water. Paved roads and fairly level gravel sites. Helpful friendly staff, very clean place. Cable and wifi worked well. Roads within the park seemed a bit on the narrow side, I had no problem backing our 30 ft. class C in but I watched two people do a lot of up and back in order to position their fifth wheelers. We would probably stay here again if in the area.

Nice park relatively close to the Canyon (50 min.) Sites and roads are crushed rock, sites not very level. Water pressure low, quality is okay. Office staff friendly and knowledgeable, they will make tour reservations for you if you wish. Limited cable channels, Wi-Fi worked well. Located on the road to the canyon, noisy during the day but quiet at night, didn't hear a single train for three days. Would stay again.

This is an okay park close to the dam. Paved roads with crushed stone sites that are close to level. Water pressure and quality good, excellent cable and Wi-Fi. Very quiet at night. A key is required to use the bathroom/shower. You would think that would have been mentioned during check-in. Okay for an overnight, but I wouldn't stay longer than that.

For our visit, this campground was okay. Water pressure and quality was good, cable and Wi-Fi both excellent. Very friendly and helpful office staff. Some interstate noise depending on which way the wind is blowing. Roads and sites are a gravel/sand/dirt mixture that I am sure would cause a dusty mess when the wind blows and a mud pit when it rains. Neither was a problem on our visit. So check the weather before you decide to stop. Sites are pretty level. KC diner just up the road is a great place to enjoy serious home cooking if you are sick of cooking. We would stay here again if the weather was right.

Nice park off I-40 but the noise is not too bad. Very friendly office staff. Water quality and pressure good. Wi-Fi worked well, but slower than I would expect. Cable was not very good, snow on several channels rendering them unwatchable. Office states they are working on the problem. Concrete sites are far from level, a new one on me. Very nice complimentary continental breakfast each morning. Would probably stay here again.

Very nice park with easy access to I-40. Some road noise but not bad. Paved roads and level concrete sites. Cable and Wi-Fi worked well. Water pressure high, to us the water had a weird taste but we are used to well water. No escort to your site but they are plainly marked. Friendly staff. This park is very clean. I certainly hope that rumors of it closing are wrong, we would stay here again.

Very nice clean park close to I-40 with very little noise. Good gravel roads and level sites. Escort to your site. Water pressure and quality good. Excellent office staff. Some aircraft noise from Tinker AFB, but they only seem to fly during the day. Cable TV and Wi-Fi worked well. I don't rate many parks a ten but this one earns it.

Very nice smaller campground one mile off I-40, little road noise. Water quality and pressure good. Paved entry road, gravel interior roads are in good shape. Gravel sites, pretty level. Wi-Fi worked well. Sites are a little close but enough room for slides and awnings. Close to town if you need to restock. Very friendly helpful office. We would stay here again.

Very nice park on the banks of the Mississippi, with the numerous strange insects you would expect along a river. Water quality is good and the pressure is high, bring a regulator. Access road and interior gravel roads are a little rough. Both concrete and gravel sites. No cable, Wi-Fi worked well. Trash picked up at site. Escort to your site, friendly office staff. Train track close by, one night there were trains all night long, the next night, there were only a few. 'Well, do you feel lucky? We would consider staying here again.

Nice park 1 mile off I-40, but little road noise. Friendly and helpful office staff. There is no escort to site but they are plainly marked. Water pressure and quality good. An okay park located next to the bypass around Nashville - a very busy and noisy highway. Office staff friendly. Gravel/paved roads. Gravel sites with concrete picnic pads are pretty level. Water pressure and quality good. Bathhouse clean but it's a little tired and could stand an update. Trash pickup at site. No fires allowed. Would probably look at other places if we were to stay in this area again, mainly due to the road noise.

Super nice park just off I-95, noise not a problem. Good water pressure and quality. No escort to site but they are so well marked an escort is not needed. Level concrete pads, Wi-Fi and cable both fine. Trash pickup at site. Bath house cleaner than the bathroom in my house. No shade, however the landscaping is superb. This is a newer park, I hope they keep it up.

Nice park convenient to attractions. Paved roads and security gate. Water pressure was good, but tasted a bit strange, kind of brackish but it may have been just me. Ended up using bottled water. Standard sites are grass and sand. I would suggest getting one of the concrete sites although they have far less shade. Escort to site, dumpster for your trash, Wi-Fi was excellent. Fires not allowed. We would stay here again, but at an upgrade site.

A nice park just off I-295 but road noise was not that bad. Good size lots with some shade. Escort to site. Water quality and pressure were both good. Helpful office staff. Trash pickup at site and the Wi-Fi worked well. Just an overnight stop but would stay here again.

Nice campground in a rural setting. Owners friendly and helpful. Level gravel sites. Water pressure and quality is good. No cell service. A few drawbacks: Signage at entrance is hard to see until you are passing the entrance. We had to unhook the toad in the middle of the road to back up to the entrance. Thankfully, it is a very rural setting. Sewer connections are too high, allowing very little if any fall from the outlet on the RV. Having said that, we would stay again if in the area.

Very nice campground close to the beach and about 15 miles from Savannah. Polite friendly office staff, escort to your site. Good sized sites with shade provided by huge oaks. Family style bath houses (sink, toilet and shower together in a room) that were very clean. Water quality was good, pressure very high. Wi-Fi worked well (site 24). Cell reception excellent. Most sites appeared close to level. Quiet at night, never heard a train all week!! We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice park located 7 miles east of Asheville. Clean, level gravel sites. Access road and paved roads in campground are steep but manageable. One half mile from the interstate but zero road noise. Has a gated entrance. Has very good water pressure and quality. At site WiFi was both quick and reliable. Escort to site assists with positioning your rig. We will return when in the area.

A bit far off I-64 for an overnight, 14 miles of back roads. Our site was dirt, thankfully it did not rain. Water quality was fair, pressure was fine. Restrooms were outdated and very dirty. Road noise moderate, train noise loud all night. At least there was no crossing nearby so you are spared the horn. Fees are collected in cash only. Can't see any reason to return to this place again.

Staff friendly and we received an escort to our site. Road from office to sites, is steep with a 180 degree turn. Was manageable in our 30 foot class C with a toad, but be ready for it. Water pressure was good, had a strong chlorine taste, but maybe it is just me. Has gravel sites which require minimal leveling. Road noise from both I-70 and I-79 is loud. This noise level will keep me from returning.

An okay park with lot of seasonals, but they are well maintained. Water pressure good, tasted a little weird. Moderate noise from the Thruway. Did not try the WiFi. Staff friendly, roads in good shape. NOTE: If it has or is going to rain, do not accept site 19. Water from uphill gathers on this site.

First, the good. This park has a lot of sites right on the river, nice setting. Now, the rest of the story. Another KOA that could be much better with a little work. Unpaved roads and dirt site, can you say messy? Some sites do have gravel, why not all of them. The sites are very tight, if we had had neighbors with slides, our awning would have been unusable. Some sewer connections were under the picnic table of the next site. Water quality was good, but the pressure was very low. No escort to site, but they are well marked. Restroom floors were muddy and wet. I doubt the shadow of my rig will darken their driveway again.

Nice clean park in a wooded setting. Huge sites, both long and wide. Water pressure and quality was good. Our site required minimal leveling, a little gravel on the site would have been nice. Seasonal sites were all very well kept up. No pets allowed. This park is a good deal compared to others in the area. We will be back.

This is a very nice park located on the lake. Friendly check in staff. WiFi is now free. The only drawback is the entrance is not marked as the campground. When you see the high school, turn at the small 'north beach' sign. Make reservations early, the WES sites go quickly.

If you are thinking about staying here, disregard the 2003 review. The ownership has changed and they are friendly and helpful. It seems they have made many improvements. Roads are gravel and W/E/S sites are lush grass and marginal leveling is required. Water pressure and quality is good. There are some seasonal sites but they are all clean and well cared for. Close to quarry (the tour is worth taking) and several covered bridges in the area. Wi-Fi available, we didn't use it so I can't address how good it is. Asked for a late check out and it was granted with no problem. New laundromat on site with plenty of machines. Ongoing improvements will make this park even nicer in the future. Note: there is a long steep hill leading to the entrance, be ready for it. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice park, friendly staff in the office. Our site (28A) was nestled in the woods and was level. The long unpaved entrance road was somewhat rough and the interior roads are winding and seem narrow. However, we got in and out with our 30 foot class C with a toad without any problems. Just glad we didn't meet any traffic. Water was good, we used this as an overnight, so we didn't check out any of the amenities or the surrounding area.

Overall, not a bad place. Entrance road was paved but pretty rough. Thankfully, it is also short. Office staff was okay. WiFi is said to be available but was not working during our stay. Gravel sites required some leveling. Water quality was good but pressure was erratic. Store only open on request, but this may be due to it being early in the season. There were not many campers here at the time. Some of the wooded sites seemed a little tight, we stayed in the center open area. The two sand beaches along the Saco river were clean. No escort to site but they were well marked. Within two miles of Conway and shopping. Forty minutes to Mt. Washington. There is some road noise but not bad. We would probably check out some other campgrounds in the area before deciding to stay here again. It does appear that they are doing some improvements to the place.

Ho-hum. Was it bad? No. Was it good?. No. Another so so campground in a beautiful location. Friendly staff, spacious sites and a great view of the Bay of Fundy. Gravel roads and somewhat level grass sites. We stayed in the 'Birches', the bay side sites do not offer shade. Pay WiFi after a free hour per day. Water was good, both pressure and quality. Be advised that if you get a site by the water, your view may be blocked by the rig next to yours. I agree with the comment about traveling on US 1 to Eastport, I took that route going. It is rougher than a cob. It is better to take 193 north out of Cherryfield to Hwy 9E. In Calais, pick up US 1 south to Perry.

Yet another place that needs to look up the word 'resort' in the dictionary. Enough said.

Nice small campground right on the water. Large level gravel sites with full hookups. Water / electric sites closer to ocean. Owner is super friendly and helpful. 40 minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia, but an easy drive. Be sure to ask in the office for the shortcut. Very quiet with just a little road noise, I doubt you would hear any in the lower section. Reliable WiFi at site in the upper section. Great place for an overnight or a longer stay to see the sights. Check out 'Ruth and Wimpy's' up the road, nice place for dinner. Definitely would stay here again.

Park has very friendly office staff. Has wooded, level sites. No escort to the site, but they are plainly marked. Fires allowed and rings provided. Water pressure and quality good. Some road noise from US 1. A lot of 'permanent settlers' but all very well kept up. WiFi available but we had a tough time staying connected. Has beautiful ocean views. Only drawback was the ever present train rumbling close by every hour or so.

Wow! By far the nicest place we have ever stayed. Super friendly staff and a bunch of them. Easy check in and an escort to the site. As I parked, the 'ranger' dragged the picnic table closer to the motor home and then raked the marks it had left. Gravel roads but they were very well maintained. High water pressure, use a regulator. The information center is crammed with brochures about the area and is staffed by knowledgeable people to answer questions and provide directions to anywhere. Yes, it does take some time to get to Boston (use the MTBA) but hey, it's vacation, remember? WiFi was unavailable while we were there due to upgrading. Oh, well, if it weren't for bad luck. Super nice place to stay, we already have plans to return to the area.

Park has gravel roads and grass sites. Our site was relatively level. Fires allowed and rings provided. Water was good. Dumpster provided for trash. No escort to site and no WiFi. Too far off the beaten track for an overnight, which is what we did.

Nice park in tranquil setting far enough off I-81 to avoid traffic noise. Friendly staff in the office. Has gravel roads with level sites. Bathhouses are clean and modern. No escort to site, but they are very well marked. Fires are allowed, but no rings provided. Water pressure is good, but it seemed to us to be heavy on the chlorine. Garbage picked up at site which I find a drawback due to birds and squirrels around. No WiFi, with so many people full timing, WiFi should be available everywhere. Overall, this is a nice park.

Tidy clean park with paved roads. Friendly staff, they escort to your site. Has level sites with some trees. Fires are allowed, rings available at office. Water pressure and quality both fine. Wi-Fi available for a fee, we didn't use it, so the quality unknown. Bathrooms/showers are clean but updating is badly needed. Located next to busy highway so there is traffic noise early in the morning. We would stay again for an overnight.

Way too far off the beaten track for an overnight, which we did and no reason to make this a destination stop. The lake is just a mosquito hole and it is very close to a busy train track. It is too bad, the owners are super nice, it is just the property that is so sorry. Almost all the sites are used by what appear to be long term residents. Do yourself a favor and just keep driving.

I don't understand the bad rap this place has been getting on this site. This is the nicest KOA we have stayed at on our 7 week trek across the country. The site we had (15) was relatively level. You shouldn't expect all sites to be perfect. Yes, there is a tight turn to get to the park from US 60 from the east. But there are big rig directions on their website to let you know you should come in from the west. Check it out: drive the few extra miles and quit complaining! Do a little research beyond Woodall's and this site as there is a bunch of info out there. Use it!!! But I digress. There is lots of grass, and a nice swimming spot at the lake for the kids. Friendly staff at the desk, and an escort to your site: a nice touch. This place is not just a good overnight, but would be a nice spot to spend a few days.

This campground is close to I-75, and not a bad overnight stay. Water pressure was fine, but the taste was a bit strange. No sewer, but you were allowed to dump gray water on the ground at your site which I found a little disturbing. Pull-through sites were on a lower level which made it a bit tricky to pull out to the road when you left. It was quiet and there were no mega-watt lights hanging around at night. There is also a nice playground if you are traveling with children. Overall, not a bad place to stay, we might stay here again if we were in the area.

Nice park located half a mile from I-90. Very little highway noise. This park is built into the side of a hill; it is nice to be able to look outside and see the view of the mountains over the roofs of the rigs parked below rather than look at the rigs themselves. Very high water pressure ( 80 psi) so bring a regulator. Thirty minutes to Devils Tower, a very scenic side trip. Office was friendly and helpful. Downsides: sites are nowhere near level and the sewer connections are too far back on the lot and most run slightly uphill. But not a bad park. We would probably stay here again.

This park is just off I-90, however, you don't hear any traffic noise. Mainly because it is drowned out by the blaring train whistles from a nearby rail yard. But having said that, the park itself is okay for an overnight. Water pressure is great, quality is somewhat lacking. I find this true at most parks in the west so maybe it is just me. Laundry is somewhat pricey, but spotless as are the bathrooms. No shade trees. Gravel sites fairly level. Might stay here again if we had earplugs.

Great private campground!!! Wide, shaded sites that require a minimum of leveling. One mile off I-90, far enough to hear no road noise. Escort to your site, which are not marked too well but it doesn't really matter. Friendly staff which I always expect from a privately owned campground. Water pressure was good, but a weird taste. Secure Wi-Fi at your site at no charge, the way it ought to be!!! I would stay here again in a skinny minute.

Being the best of mediocre doesn't mean you are good. This RV park is just that, the best of the rest in the area. It is thirty minutes from downtown Seattle, even with the crazy traffic. The interior roads are paved, as are the sites. But they all slant towards the lake so they are not level. The lake is more of a big pond, complete with the mosquitoes and water weeds. The sites are very, very narrow with hedges between them for privacy. But that does not block out any noise from your neighbors. The water pressure was okay, but the taste was terrible. Bring plenty of bottled water for drinking. The Wifi was barely usable, none at your site and you had to stand under the antenna at the office to even connect. I am not sure we would stay here again.

Ho-hum, another Koa that has the potential to be nice, but just doesn't put forth the effort. This was just an overnight stop and I am thankful for that. Sites are not close to level. The water pressure and quality was good. No wifi at your site, even though there were repeaters all over the place. The laundry room was dirty, I was afraid to go into the bathrooms. The employees that were out working around the campground were grungy and nasty looking. The noise from the trains is loud and constant, all night long. It's not the fault of the campground, but something you need to know about.

This is a very scenic park, right on the Columbia River. However, there is zero shade and almost no grass except in the common areas. The sun will bake you all day long. Combined with a constant wind strong enough to not allow an awning, the day is long and hot. This is not the fault of the campground, of course. But it is something you need to be of which you need to be aware. Water pressure was good, as was the quality. Office staff friendly, however the office and store closes at five. You have to pay for Wifi, I feel this should be a freebie, even if it is added to the nightly rate. Wifi is such a necessity when on the road for any length of time, the hassle of having to sign on and pay each day is just that, a hassle. We would use this Park again for an overnight, but not more than that.

Nice park located 20 miles off I-5, but good roads from the interstate. Pea gravel sites with plenty of shade from large firs. Some of the sites did seem a tad narrow. Water pressure and quality were good. Office staff was friendly and helpful. The lake was not all that for us, I guess if you had a boat and loved to fish it would be a draw. Only one bath/shower house I could find. And I still haven't figured out this pay shower stuff. Charge another dollar for the night, but don't charge me if I want a little extra room in a shower for a change. Two night stay was good, but that was enough for us. We would maybe stay here again, maybe not.

A new RV Park that will be nice in ten years when the trees grow some. The staff was friendly and gave an escort to the site. A strange set up, the parking sites for your rig are crushed slate. There is a paved pad for your tow rig to park on. I would prefer it the other way around, but I don't own the place. Laundry room was clean and the bathroom and showers are set up in your own private room, lockable. Very nice, but weak exhaust systems. Water pressure and quality was good. This park is located next to a rather busy highway. The road noise is not too bad at night, but the trucks get started early in the morning. There is a correction facility located just down the street, if that sort of thing bothers you. This park is in the middle of nowhere, but we would use it again as an overnight stop.

Previous reviews about this park led me to believe I was in for an amazing experience. I found the park to be just a little above ordinary. Yes, the plantings are nice, but everything else is what you should expect from an RV park. Office staff was okay, roads were okay, water pressure and quality were okay. Note: if you are staying for more than an overnight, be advised that the surrounding neighborhood rises early. Don't expect to sleep in. If in the area, we would stay here again.

This is a very nice park to stay at if you don't mind the 38 mile drive to Yellowstone, which we didn't. There are friendly, helpful office staff with knowledge of the area. There are very clean bathrooms and laundry area. The water quality was good with plenty of pressure. Gravel roads and parking for your rig, but grassy sites. No campfires allowed, which personally, I am starting to think is a good idea. There is no overnight smoldering which allows you to open the windows and enjoy the crisp night mountain air. There is a nightly fire at the office where you can chat with fellow campers and tell your tales, be they true or not. It is next to US 89 which leads to Yellowstone, but the road noise disappears at night. It does crank up early in the morning, but that is not too disturbing. We will for sure stay here again next trip.

This is a very nice park with easy access to I-90. Friendly and helpful office staff that escorted you to your site. Water pressure and quality were both good, gravel roads and parking sites with plenty of grass at the site. Pool area was clean and well maintained. Good spot for an overnight stop. Nightly ice cream social is a good place to chat with other campers.

A nice park within an hour of the Badlands and 20 minutes from Mount Rushmore. The park is divided into 5 sections. We spent 2 nights in Line camp, which has wide sites but no shade. The third night we moved to Base camp, which has some shade but narrow sites. The Line camp was better. The site were level and the roads were okay, mostly gravel with the expected dust clouds. The park could use some added bathrooms, it was a long walk to use them should you need to. Overall, a good stay, we would probably stay here again if we return to the area.

This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed at this trip. Family run campground that makes you feel like one of the family. Laundry facility is spotless with what appeared to be new machines, they were actually all in working order. Gravel sites were fairly level, water pressure and quality were good. Bath house was clean and well lit, good ventilation as well. This park is close to the interstate with some traffic noise. Good overnight stop.

A nice campground 1/2 mile off I-90, but the road noise was barely audible. A Good place for an overnight, but not close to anything. Stock up before you arrive, it is 20 miles to a grocery. Friendly staff in the office escorted us to the site. Concrete parking pads (on some sites) made our setup easy. The gravel sites appeared pretty level as well. There is good water pressure and the quality was fine. The gravel roads within the campground were well maintained with no dips or holes. We would stay here again.

This is a good spot for an overnight stop. Close to the interstate with some traffic noise but not unbearable. Easy access pull through sites with tons of grass. The sites are a little skinny, especially if you wanted to put out your awning. The bathhouse was fairly clean, but it could stand to be updated. But for a city park, it was acceptable and we would use it for an overnight stop again if in the area.

Very nice park across the street from Clear Lake. Wide sites with grass, gravel parking pad from your rig on some sites. Facilities well maintained, showers and bathrooms were spotless no matter what time of the day you used them. Helpful staff. If you stay here, check out the Boathouse Grill down the street, good food, reasonable prices and a great view of the lake while you dine. It doesn't get much better than this campground.

If you are looking for a nice quiet campground, this is the place. Well off the beaten track, but worth the drive. The roads from Amboy to the campground is not the best but we had no problem in our 30 foot Class C towing a car. Check in is done at a kiosk at the gate, no need to exit your rig. Roads are a little rough, but not bad. Site markings are a little confusing. Bathhouse was clean, however a bit of upgrading would help. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a nice stay.

If you ever find yourself even considering stopping here, pull to the side of the road and slap yourself as hard as you can. When you can see straight again, carefully reenter traffic and run, run like the wind. This is beyond a doubt the worst campground (I use the word campground for lack of a better word) that I have ever stayed at. Yes, they say they have 60 sites, I counted about eight that were not used for full timers. Most of these were water/electric situated in the middle of a field. Access for even medium sized rigs is iffy. We scraped several branches coming in with our 30 foot Class C. Average site width is about 12 feet, (I am being generous here), not enough if you have slide outs. The web site states the grounds have been restored to the same way they were 20 years ago. I think they mean they have done nothing to the place in 20 years. Avoid this place like the plague.

Another great State park. Paved roads lead through trees to wide paved sites. Close to Lake Erie with a nice marina. It is so nice to back into a level site, set up is so easy. Quiet with regular security patrol by park rangers. The bathrooms were spotless. These overnight stays are providing us with a whole host of places to return to for a week stay. I wholly recommend this park.

All in all, not a bad place to stay. It is a ways off the interstate for an overnight stop as we did, but a nice place for a weekend, maybe. Construction on the interstate made it confusing to find the campground, you must travel through town with tight turns and narrow streets. The sites were not very level with bumpy, potholed gravel access roads to the sites. The sites are numbered in a crazy fashion, we were assigned site 42, the site post was numbered 142?? The site numbers were written in white on the gray electrical boxes, nearly impossible to see. Office staff was less than cordial, unusual for a private campground. We might stop here again, but only as a last resort and not for more than an overnight.

This is one of the nicest state parks we have stayed in. Check in was done at a pull through kiosk, you didn't have to get out of your rig. Every site was water front, paved and level with a concrete picnic pad. The paved roads were wide enough for the largest rigs. We stayed overnight, but this would be a great spot for a week stay. All resort amenities are available at a nominal daily fee.

This was our fourth stay here and there will not be a fifth. Each time we stay, the experience becomes worse. Roads are terrible with large potholes and gullies. I was told the tractor had broken, it is time to get it fixed. Restrooms were marginal at best. Office staff friendly, but other workers would not acknowledge you if you were on fire. Luckily it had not rained for a while, our site was nothing but bare dirt, easily could have been mud. This park needs a lot of work to bring it up to where it is worth $40/night.

Very nice park in a wooded setting. Roads were well maintained and with a few exceptions paved. Office staff friendly and helpful. Bathhouses were clean and set up as a bathroom at your house would be, toilet, shower and sink in its own separate area, providing a bit more privacy than your normal bathhouse. Fires are allowed and fire rings provided. Level sites well spaced apart. At site trash pickup. Very little road noise from the highway. Although we experienced no problems, there did not appear to be any sort of security at night. Overall, a nice stay, we would use this park again.

Park entrance was clean and well marked. Roads well maintained. Fires allowed but no fires rings provided. Site was level and wooded, not much grass, mainly gravel although other more open sites had more grass. Water quality was good with plenty of pressure. No road noise, but wow, the jet traffic in and out of Oceana!!! This campground is directly under the flight path to the base. Hope you don't want to sleep past eight am. Never saw any sign of security after dark, although we had no problems. Office staff was friendly, although they were not very knowledgeable about nearby attractions. Trash pickup was spotty at best. The birds and squirrels have learned that trash bags mean food. Combined with the winds, that made for quite a mess in the park. Pets allowed, but I never saw anyone cleaning up after them. So step carefully. Free parking provided for guests at the beach, but even so, I doubt we will stay here again. Equivalent accommodations are available nearby, namely the KOA across the street we stayed at last year.

Nice quiet campground. Access road a little rough, but not unmanageable. Sewer not available at all sites so be sure to inquire. This is a very nice campground in a rural setting. Traffic noise is non-existent. Pool water was crystal clear and there is an extensive play area for children, one of the best I have even seen. The sites are relatively level and covered with pea gravel. Sites are roomy in spite of the numerous shade trees, no problem with access to the sites. There are many permanent residents, but these sites are well maintained and clean. No trash pickup at your site, but a dumpster is set up near the office. There are not many attractions nearby which makes this a great place to kick back and relax.

What an enjoyable experience. Campground located well away from busy roads making it very quiet. Graveled roads in campground and graveled sites. Heavily wooded but not so much as to impede access. Sites were relatively level. Staff friendly and very helpful. Camp store remains open until 10 PM, great for those late night ice cream cravings. Fire rings provided at all sites. Staff escorts you to your site and even helps you back in. The campground was very clean and well maintained. Water quality was very good. Only drawback - check in parking is very limited, only room for two rigs. But a very nice over all stay.

Nice park off the interstate, so it was quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. Sites seemed to be mostly level with plenty of trees. Cable and WiFi available at no extra charge. Although most of the sites were pretty level, they could use some work. The first site we were given had a huge mud puddle that would be right outside of the door. I went back to the office and was reluctantly given another site. Office staff was not overly helpful or friendly. Security person made rounds about every 15 minutes, a nice feeling. The aircraft noise from Oceana Naval Air Station was bothersome at times, but this is not the fault of the campground. Two miles from the beach, but access is easy. Campfires are allowed, but fire rings are not provided. Some of the long term campers are a little rundown, (the vehicles and sites, not the people). Roads could use some work also, potholes in the paving and large dips in the gravel roads. Picnic tables need rebuilding. Might stay here again, but it would not be our first choice.
