The park is adequate for a one night stay while traveling. Has a little restaurant on site that is open part of the year. After a day of driving, it was nice to just walk over to it and have a fairly good dinner. Everything worked well including the internet and cable. However, we stood in line for quite a while to get checked in and listened to the manager's nonstop talking while registering guests. We found him to be loud, sarcastic, abrasive, and disrespectful. Some of the things he said were inappropriate and we saw other people in line were uncomfortable, too.
Rate reflects monthly rate. Electric is metered and very reasonable. Cable worked very well. Nice wide spaces and the sites are well maintained. There is a workshop with lots of junk and old equipment/vehicles on one end that is quite an eyesore and does need some clean-up. Great walking trails and the park is about two miles from the San Pedro River which has great hiking. Great central location for seeing all the sights. Wi-Fi was in the clubhouse only and that was a real negative for us to have to go there every time we needed to get online. The workampers were all very friendly and helpful but the woman that appeared to be the manager seemed impatient and abrupt if questioned. Laundry facilities are pretty good. There is a large one with quite a few machines and a small one with just two and one machine was out of order for the entire month. It's a good value and pretty nice park but probably will look for a park with Wi-Fi onsite next year.
What a well kept secret! The park looks out over BLM land and Caballo Lake. There are lots of shade trees, excellent laundry, good Wi-Fi and several antenna TV stations. The store has a respectable supply of groceries and necessities and they fill propane tanks. A very quiet park in spite of being close to the Interstate. We heard no traffic noise. A great place to camp and explore the area. We will be back.
We were traveling across the country and didn't expect much when we pulled in. What a great surprise. The pull-through lots had cement pads and the little park was beautiful. They even have a nature walk along a creek. The laundry facility was one of the best I've seen. The Wi-Fi was perfect. The park is clean and quiet and the owners are very nice. We will plan to stay here on future trips.
